Gonna storytime a classic Rifts comic called Machinations of Doom, by the most excellent Ramon Perez.
This is a post-apoc world where magical Rifts destroyed the world and opened portals to other dimensions, from which demons, aliens, robots and eveything else poured forth to invade Earth. Humanity has been trying to recover ever since.
This story involves some adventurers taking on the Coalition States - a group of fascist humanity-supremacists - by invading one of their secret bio-weapons labs.
