Isn't the answer to that question traditionally Nal-Shaddar?
Juan Myers
Legion and Armada are gonna release at the same time and make my wallet sad
Henry Evans
I'm not even going to get into Legion and I'm still going to feel in the wallet. These £50 expansions aren't cheap.
Owen Parker
How is Star Wars Rebellion?
I loved the videogame of the same name, is the boardgame similar?
Jose Peterson
do you mean nar shaddaa?
Sebastian Parker
The boardgame is kind of similar, in that you use heroes to carry out missions around the various planets of the galaxy and that the Empire wins if it can destroy the secret Rebel base. The boardgame is a lot less symmetric than the videogame. I recommend the boardgame, although it is a rare treat for me since it is hard to find time for such a long game.
Mason Hughes
Lore question, we've seen republics don't work, and empires don't work, what kind of united galactic government does work?
Benjamin Scott
If Eclipse Phase is anything to go by, independent anarchist collectives each with their own isolationist habitats.
Juan Foster
$50 once every 6 months is about as cheap a hobby as you can have.
The Republic worked for basically forever
It collapsed only when an evil space wizard manipulated a bunch of ancaps into waging a civil war over taxes
Henry Miller
Republics DO work. When they're not actively being twisted or torn apart from the inside by the acts of malevolent agents, at least.
The Old Republic stood for millennia until it fell due to the Sith and the Mandalorians. The Galactic Republic stood for another thousand years after that until a Sith twisted it into the Empire.
Owen Scott
Any Destiny players?
Jayden Rogers
In fairness to him, many of the issues seen don't look like the sort of thing that needs an evil space wizard to happen
Isaac Hughes
Not to mention in both canons attempts to rebuild the republic get mired in stupidity and misfortune
Kayden Bailey
Yeah, but that's on top of my X-Wing problem.
And my Wings of Glory problem
And how with 15% off all Aeronef until the 17th Imperial Skies keeps trying to be a problem.
Thank christ Warhammer is dead so I don't need to buy stuff for that anymore.
Ryder Peterson
From the last thread, my follow-up to Chumbalaya's advice- Just wondering if I'm barking up the right tree.
Nicholas Walker
>attempts to rebuild the republic get mired in stupidity and misfortune Legends' NR has the excuse of Bothans. Legends Bothans ruin everything. Mon Mothma never should have let them become relevant. The Nu Republic, on the other hand, was apparently explained somewhere as being infiltrated by FO-aligned traitors, though I'm unable to remember the exact source.
Anthony Jackson
That source would be Bloodlines.
Hudson Richardson
I think it's just Bloodline, but you're correct.
Angel Myers
I don't think you're wrong. There's lots of options and it's all pretty new so I'd just give them a shot and see what happens.
How bad could it be?
Asher Ross
I've been asking myself, how important are authothrusters for the Silencer anyway?
I mean in the current meta Silencers (particularly Blackout), are either going to want to get into R1 to get inside the TLT/HLC Dash donut hole (Threat Tracker especially helps with this) or want to arc dodge entirely. There's not a whole lot of natural 3 red dice 360 ships around right now, barring the title Jumpmasters, the odd YT-1300s, and Decimators.
It just seems a little redundant.
Christopher Adams
I suppose the question is, what would you slot there?
Aiden Long
My insane thrill seeking character is getting a pet. Everyone thinks it'll be a krayt Dragon hatching. What's an animal even more insanely dangerous? I want to suprise then
Grayson Jones
Exogorth Space Slug, Sando Aqua Monster, Titavian, maybe a Gorog.
Those are the only things that could stand up to a Greater Krayt that I can think of.
Jose Cook
With Threat Tracker, maybe Stealth device. 4 dice at range 1-2 + 2 evade tokens and a Focus means you're probably not getting hit that round.
Otherwise leave it blank and just save the 2 points for the rest of the list
Levi Roberts
*Debris Gambit not Threat Tracker my bad
Colton Hall
This was posted last thread, any sauce?
Luke Hall
Ewok. Specifically, an ewok modified for enhanced intelligence. Yub yub, Commander.
Ayden Long
Seriously why do bothans suck so much?
Juan Brown
>entire species of furries that constantly backstab each other for shits and giggles You'd have the same result if people spontaneously decided the Hutts needed to be major players in mainstream politics. But you'd have a lot more sexy dancers in the senate hall at least.
James Peterson
The Hutts at least recognize they have no place there, the bothans go on acting like every other race is out for their blood...
Joseph Hill
Mutated Rancor.
Adrian Foster
A zillo beast could rape any Krayt Dragon.
Sebastian Fisher
>tfw really like the main body/tail of the zillo >but the fucking papery limbs just kill any cool factor or menace it might have
Owen Roberts
Roggwart. A greater krayt is useless without sand.
Samuel Foster
>The Empire never got the chance to use its domesticated kaijus It's just not fair.
Robert Price
Did you see it in TCW? I think it’s got plenty going on to make it terrifying.
Evan Flores
Horrible. Genius could be un-nerfed and Nym can get errata'd up to PS 12 base. All because I didn't win my Regional.
Seriously though, I guess I'll be running vader- PS 10 with Scrambler, PS 11, or PS 9 with a real EPT?
Bentley Anderson
Anyone got a lead on scans for this?
People saying it confirms Leia, Han, and General Veers as future commanders, among other things.
Andrew Russell
turk123 or something on hentaifoundry, probably has huge dick shota stuff so it's likely going to be posted to one of his other sites.
Isaac Anderson
woops
Henry Miller
Rathtar, Wampa, Blixus
Brody Torres
It was Turk128, and was indeed /ss/
It’s a commission for Pyro’s series “Leia’s Motherly Touch”
Wasn’t as good as I hoped desu, but thanks anyways user. Godspeed, and may the Force be with you
Wyatt Baker
Mandatory. There will be a shitload of things like falcons, you can't always arc-dodge (sometimes you just go to r3 and token, and spread out TLT's. )
Autothrusters are worth their weight in gold.
Levi Thomas
different poster, but it's the "hands" for me. they just look dumb. even in the episodes it was in.
Oliver Anderson
Star Wars lupin spin-off when?
Blake Campbell
Are there any of the RP books in particular which talk in-depth about the dark side of the Force, Korriban and Sith (species)? Recent or older, I'm alright with any, really.
Elijah Edwards
Communulism in space with loose galactic institutions for defense and coordination is the correct answer.
Adrian Sanders
Space ancap is the true answer.
Aiden Perry
Fuck you, space anarcho-primitivism or death.
Julian Sanchez
What's the name of that one website where you can make a handy sheet for FaD?
Samuel Edwards
>What're your favourite planets to use as a setting in RPG campaigns?
Any of the cityworlds. There's just a lot of shit to do there.
Easton Cox
Slow thread, post good names for Rebel/Imperial squadrons.
Aaron Perez
Out of the NJO, who was the Jannetty?
Adam Scott
Steal wildly from real life, make star wars as needed.
>>Ultramarine Squadron Truly, the greatest of them all.
Mason Richardson
I'd be curious as well. FFG hasn't released or said anything new about Legion in weeks. Kills the hype a little when the company isn't doing anything to maintain it. It gets really boring reading people rehash the same convos over and over on their forums too.
Joseph Nelson
There was the Dark Side Sourcebook for the Star Wars d20, as the firs thing that comes to mind for dark side stuff. I forget what all's in it though.
Cooper Ortiz
>FFG hasn't released or said anything new about Legion in weeks.
We just got the developer commentary. It wasn't all that interesting, but it was something.
>Kills the hype a little when the company isn't doing anything to maintain it. It gets really boring reading people rehash the same convos over and over on their forums too.
How they gonna maintain hype from August all the way through February/March? They'll ramp up as we get closer to release.
Anthony Harris
Squadron 88 Mercenary squadron dedicated to Special Ops that has a lot of craft to choose from depending on mission. Heavily modernized swing-wing Z-95s & ARC-170s, CloakShapes, DuneLizards, even a few TIE Strikers repainted in low-vis camouflage. Rumors of dirty tactics to keep good pilots in the company has yet to be confirmed or denied.
Dathomiri Night Witches Imperial all-female squadron hailing from Empire-occupied Dathomir, flying motor-shunt stealthed TIE Bombers. The similarity in name to the local Dathomiri cult known as the Nightsisters are for propaganda purposes only.
James Collins
Hey anons. Last week's session ended on a high-low-high-low note.
After a lot of really impressive winning, my group finished out like this:
The group scramble for the big Gallofree (their ship) and two tramp freighters, split up, and blast off to escape. The Gallofree is the biggest target so the Impstar that was sitting in low orbit focuses on it to some degree and the captain makes some spectacular evasion rolls until...Despair. A perfect shot holes the rear end of the Gallofree's structure taking out its primary hyperdrive. Everyone's swearing and groaning and the captain goes "We'll figure this out when we can," shunts to the hyperdrive backup and off they go into hyperspace. At x16.
I'm considering having the next session start with them decanting in the middle of a battle between pirates and an Imperial frigate. I've been making them feel like they can't trust anyone, even (especially) other rebels, so putting them in a situation where they'd have to trust pirates seems fun.
Thoughts?
Hudson Hernandez
It's 80+% fluff, as you might imagine.
I'll post the interesting tidbits.

The article is 5 full pages long, but it's mostly fluff/design process stuff, not anything super interesting or brand new information.
Kevin Scott
Since they're tooling around on the slowest hyperdrive you could play with that instead. Weeks of travel to the nearest safe port and since they got hulled last session shit starts going wrong. Life support starts venting, the hull is weak and vibrations from the reactor is resonating with it, the recaf maker is on the fritz in the galley. A survival session against their own ship could be pretty cool.
Christian Walker
Right if it was just the engineer playing this week that'd work out great, but making a bunch of people with 2D technical make repair rolls is a recipe for frustration.
It's interesting from an observer perspective but not for the players actually playing it.
Kevin Scott
Thanks for posting. Seems like they're doing like X-Wing and starting with the painfully obvious and recognizable but plan to branch out if it catches on. Hopefully they can be a little more adventurous like Armada, which started with quite a few EU classics.
Asher Campbell
I still appreciate you taking the time to post it, either way. Thank you user
Posting this again, taking a poll on Wave XIV now that Thirtwelve is all spoiled. Some people were right in the last poll I did, let's see if we get some more lucky winners?
Henry Nguyen
>named kongo >missing a hand

>mining guild TIEs I don't really think a company that's directly and openly got Imp relations would be 'scum' but I still want it.
Camden Carter
Vader hired all the Bounty Hunter boys, but they're all Scum (except for an early Boba), and the Mining Guild's aesthetics are scum as fuck.
Nathaniel Myers
That's a single contract for a single job, the Guild's got actual relations with the Empire.
Isaac Butler
I'd love to see an N-1 make it into production. Not sure if it'd be Rebels or Scum, but it'd be a cool mini to have just because.
Brownie points for FFG if they actually make the chrome part shiny.
Zachary Cox
wait, that tie fighter is opening up the wrong way
>Brownie points for FFG if they actually make the chrome part shiny. Oh man I do not want to have to figure out how to do that myself if it is just grey
Grayson Phillips
>Oh man I do not want to have to figure out how to do that myself if it is just grey
Yeah, I'm with you there. Plus, it'd look weird to me if it wasn't.
I'm still tying to figure out how to make the shiny white stormtrooper armor for Legion when it comes out and I legit have no idea how. At least with X-Wing they could save us the work and do it themselves since it comes prepainted.
Daniel Hernandez
I think that would just take a shitload of gloss to make the stormtroopers shiny
Jeremiah Miller
Is that, like, a clear gloss you paint over it or a special white paint? (I'm still new to painting)
Luke Rivera
>Rebels N-1
>Empire Patrol Transport
>Scum Kom'rk
If I had my way
>Rebels T-Wing, H-Wing
>Empire TIE Hunter, TIE Droid
>Scum Skipray, Slave II
Joshua Wilson
You have good taste sir.
Zachary Hill
Clear gloss, I’d imagine
Caleb Reyes
the DSSB the other user mentioned, KotOR campaign guide for SAGA (should be in the pastebin) for RPG books, for reference books there's these
Yeah, theoretically just a gloss varnish should do the trick.
Wyatt Rodriguez
Yeah. I just got back from a mini tournament. 3-0, baby!
Isaac Phillips
This question was asked in the last thread. Basically none. Jedi Utopias, Sith Utopias, Expansive Republics, Authoritarian Empires, and Economic Business Unions have all failed with equal misery. I'd wager one of the underlying themes of Star Wars at its original outset - being a contrasting clash to Star Trek - is that people never can unify, no matter who they are or what government they're under. There is no United Federation of Planets in Star Wars, and there simply never can be because people are so different.
>palpatine and plagueis were only around for a little over a century combined >republic had been shit for over a thousand years
Xavier Howard
You basically had a bunch of middlingly competent, nepotistic, and aging senators who wanted to go back to the old ways, those old ways being a major part of what caused the last republic to collapse in the first place. And Bothans. Fucking Bothans.
Balkanized galactic war with more flavors than Rebel, Imp, Imp, Imp, Imp, Imp, Imp, and Imp when?
William Ramirez
I need fun ugly fighter concepts
Nicholas Nelson
What would you want to see?
Noah Richardson
Bigger scum and Corporate Sector presence, CIS remnants coming out of the woodwork, individual species getting more of their own tech (a la Galactic Battlegrounds' Wookiees and Gungans), newborn non-Imp-flavored "nations" and miniature empires. Basically, a shitload of small factions with their own distinct flavoring to add some more color to the galactic map and make the galaxy feel as big as it looks. Nucanon took some steps toward this in its post-RotJ galaxy by dividing it up among a multitude of different powers but so far, most of the writing has ignored every faction that isn't the NR or FO.
James Smith
What's the Star Wars equivalent of a P-40 Warhawk?
Anthony Sanchez
Z-95 Headhunter. Not even kidding. It even has the superior younger sibling aspect of it as well.

sup Veeky Forums, I just finished my monthly league X-wing tournament, and came in second.
Each week (well, 3 weeks this month due to thanksgiving) you show up and play 2 games, swiss.
I now deeply regret showing up with 2 Juke/Comm SF/s and Inquisitor on week 2, as If I didn't lose a game that week, I would have won.
I flew
- VI Harpoon Vader with 3x Omega Squadrons with WG and crack - 2x Comm/Intensity Omega Specialists with Inquisitor - Asajj and 2 TLT Thugs
I went against, in order - Viktor Hel, Thweek, Nym list - Boba Bossk harpoon alpha - Miranda/Corran (my one loss) - Soontir/Vader/Inquisitor - Oicunn+Double interceptor - Mux/Fenn/Thweek
I could do a battle report if anyone is interested in any of the games.
