Prossh isn't a wedge dragon, he's a shard. Jund and all the other Alara types are shards, Wedges are the Tarkir triple color types.

She is a cleric, so it's either her or the Partners. Some clerics, like Rotlung, have sac themes so Ayli plays into it better.

Clerics mainly deal with life manipulation and Ayli is great for that, along with most clerics being in primarily white and black.

Why would I want either of those two wizards when I can make a copy of a wizard for 1, which is great advantage for Wizard tribal. I wouldn't use Azami or Baral for Wizard tribal since I can make copies of more wizards with Inala, using those two you mentioned as supplements in an Inala deck.

Power gap doesn't mean "there are no other choices", it means those other choices are so much less effective. Baral as the head of a wizard tribal deck is completely ridiculous and doesn't play at all into Baral's strengths.

Because the plane was pitched as "Vampire Conquistadors", so they had first bid on Black. Then Pirates got added and they got seconds. Dinosaurs were briefly tried as UG, playing up the aquatic angle and being ridden by the natives, then they tried putting them a little bit in every color and realized it was not only a nightmare for draft but that printing them in such limited numbers would be cock-teasing players who want them. They found a home in the Sun Empire to give them three colors to work with and enough presence in a faction to print in quantity.

How often do you guys change your decks sleeves? I just changed a decks sleeves that I made only a year ago, but the matte dragon shields got so grimey I had to change them. It's my favorite deck, so use it a lot, but it's not something I have really had to worry about before.

Alternatively, do you ever clean the sleeves off? When dealing with double sleeved shit it seems like some method to clean them off would be faster.

GIMP is free, and very versatile, though takes some getting used to.
Paint.net is free and familiar if you've ever used MS Paint, but needs some extra plugins for full functionality.

The 20 million is total players, 12 million is active players. It's two different statistics for measuring the playerbase.

Is Jin-Gitaxis a fun commander? I've got a kitchen table Thassa control/counter deck with some shenanigans but I want to spice things up a bit.

The card quality has become really bad and cards warp out of pack. So nothing is holding value over the past few years. Sad state for MTG.

It's "Psychological Operations". What it means in this context is /pol/ made a thread about trying to kill MtG by way of what's basically aggressive shitposting. There are some bad statistics floating around because someone noticed official sources have referred to the playerbase as 20 million and then 12 million later, so they're spinning it as "the game has lost 8 millions players" when it's really "There are 20 million people who have played Magic at some point and own some cards, but only 12 million of them are likely to show up to the next FNM/Draft/Prerelease or buy a box on release day." WotC tracks players as "the big nebulous whole who have shown any interest in the game" and "the players who are buying product right now".

And three masters sets in 1 year. And a FTV ensuring easy to get reprints too. Nothing but reserved list cards are holding value.

The retention rate for players is like 11 years, if I remember right. So, with a game that's been running for 25 years, it's inevitable.
