A game for every genre attempt II

Yesterday I made a thread in hope of finding a specific RPG for every genre or theme. The results where disappointing.
We've had
>Post-apocalyptic survival - Apocalypse World
>High fantasy - Pathfinder yawn
>Supernatural Teen Drama - MonsterHearts
>Post-cyberpunk - Eclipse Phase
>Adventure Time - Adventure Time which I've had a look at, and is clearly inferior in creating an Adventure Time-like story to Kingdoms of Ooo
>Superheroes - M&M
>Swords and Sorcery - Barbarians of Lemuria
>Realistic sword and sorcery - Blade of the Iron Throne

Among others, I'm missing
>Space opera
>Dystopian Sci-fi
>Near future Sci-fi
>Urban fantasy
>Detective Noir
>Spy Story
>Scooby Doo Mystery
>Disaster survival
>Regular Teen Drama
>Western
>Horror Survival
>Gothic Horror
>Crime Story
>....

Can you fill up my list Veeky Forums? Is there any game that you would replace on the list?

>Post-apocalyptic survival - GURPS
>High fantasy - GURPS
>Supernatural Teen Drama - GURPS
>Post-cyberpunk - GURPS
>Adventure Time - GURPS
>Superheroes - GURPS
>Swords and Sorcery - GURPS
>Realistic sword and sorcery - GURPS
>Space opera - GURPS
>Dystopian Sci-fi - GURPS
>Near future Sci-fi - GURPS
>Urban fantasy - GURPS
>Detective Noir - GURPS
>Spy Story - GURPS
>Scooby Doo Mystery - GURPS
>Disaster survival - GURPS
>Regular Teen Drama - GURPS
>Western - GURPS
>Horror Survival - GURPS
>Gothic Horror - GURPS
>Crime Story - GURPS

And, to add:
Zombies - AFMBE

This is entirely my fault, I forgot to add the disclaimer I put in last thread.
>State an RPG that is perfectly designed for that genre. No "GRUPS applies to everything"-bullshit, be specific.

I didn't apply GURPS to everything you ignorant slut.

You also didn't propose a game that is specifically designed for that genre, you mentally impaired whore.

Samurai Drama - L5R

I like the idea. Not to mention that having a cheat-sheet for my gaming impulses comes handy.

>Superhero
I'd like to nominate Wild Talents for the Superhero games with MM.
MM is a good universal system fo superheroes, but wit it's universality it can easy fill in a high-fantasy game. While Wild Talents is a bit more gritty. Although Silver Age type madness is easily possible with it

>Western
I hear Dogs in the Vineyard is good for that.

>80s action / Kung fu movie
Feng Shui 2

>Urban Fantasy
Chronicles of Darkness?

>Scooby Doo Mystery
Monster of the Week?

Well to be fair gurps fits every setting, doesn't fit every setting perfectly.

It's also clearly besides the point. It's asking a sommelier what kind of wine would go with a meal and getting the answer 'champagne goes with everything'.

That's not besides the point. He's clearly recommending champagne.

>Space opera
>Dystopian Sci-fi
>Near future Sci-fi
Alternity.

The last game TSR ever published and an underappreciated gem.

But then he's be a bad sommelier. Precisely as recommending the same game for every situation doesn't make you a fun person to talk about RPG's with.

>Post-Apocalyptic Survival - Atomic Highway
>High Fantasy - 13th Age
>Supernatural Teen Drama - MonsterHearts
>Post-Cyberpunk - Eclipse Phase
>Superheroes - Godlike, Wild Talents
>Swords & Sorcery - Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea

>Space Opera -
>Dystopian Sci-Fi - Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020, Underground, Paranoia, SLA Industries
>Near Future Sci-Fi - Shadowrun, Cyberpunk 2020, PARSEC RPG, Underground, Millenium's End
>Urban Fantasy - Urban Arcana, WoD, Unknown Armies
>Detective Noir - GUMSHOE
>Spy Story - Blades in the Dark
>Disaster Survival - Every game with PCs is this.
>Western - Deadlands: Classic, Aces & Eights
>Horror Survival - Dread
>Gothic Horror - Shadows of Esteren

Retooled your list a little.

Oops, fucked up Space Opera.

>Space Opera - Any Star Trek Game, Stars Without Number, Traveler, Alternity

This guy.

>Shadowrun & Cyberpunk2020
No love for Corporation?

I've never personally played Corporation, so I didn't feel comfortable mentioning it. Heard good things, though.

bump

>sci-fi horror
Wildfire

>Xiaxia
Wushu, Legends of the Woulin

You mean doesn't fit any setting perfectly

Dogs in the Vineyard is only good if you want to play as a Mormon
