The funny thing is the one on the left still looks better than GW models.
Camden Ward
Daily reminder to never trust primitives
Bentley Hernandez
Eh, I dunno. I'd say it looks a bit worse than a Dreadnought, if only because Dreadnought does look like a walking coffin. But maybe I just still think Dreads are cool.
Owen Gomez
What's with this new Aleph anti-Ariadna propaganda.
Joshua Brown

Reminder that Uhahu is cute and not for sexual.
Lucas Hernandez
Nah, Plebian was banned from it because he won too many times.
Adrian Sanchez
This is just Nomads being butthurt.
Aiden Hughes
Doesn't surprise me, many competitions have a "if you win too many times in a row, you're not allowed to compete next year" rule. Happened to my aunt with a folk-song competition of all things.
Although with minis I'd want Plebian on the judge team if it was possible.
Aaron Cook
The usual custom is three times in a row. And yes, they should have asked him to officiate or something. AFAIK that's not how it shook out though.
Lincoln James
That's dumb. Why punish someone for being good?
Jason Russell
Because it's an even greater accolade. "You're so good you don't even need to compete anymore; instead, we want *your* help running the show."
Ethan Jackson
To make sure the competition doesn't stagnate and the sure winner doesn't scare away new competitors. Although possibly Infinity players should just analyze winners more, like StarCraft players do. But I guess replays are a little harder to come by.
James Barnes
Who won then? WIth Morats?
Camden Walker
I think many players also just refuse to ape the top dog and rather roll with their (potentially inferior) own favourite set of models.
>potentially inferior Doesn't Plebian roll with Shasvastii or something?
Lucas Hall
Infinity is a game that is completely free of net lists. If you build a well balanced list, you can bring almost anything and be competitive. The top players win tournaments with different factions all the time.
Mason Jackson
Vanilla CA. I don't know what his online handle is, I just know his irl name.
Mason Parker
He isn't in my meta but this is what I remember from seeing it online:
Vanilla CA seems strong. Was this before or after B&K?
Jackson Smith
And it's worth noting that there was some pretty heavy cheating going on at the Interplanetario, according to him... fucking Spaniards colluding or some shit.
Before.
Logan Lopez
So who has gotten into Aristeia?
I can't wait for the first expansion, think it will really open the game up.
Wish they had scheduled it earlier.
Caleb Roberts
...
Brandon Flores
>I don't know what his online handle is, I just know his irl name. Did he ever post lists anywhere?
Henry Allen
>Doesn't Plebian roll with Shasvastii or something? Nah, that's Master of Melee.
Lucas Lee
Definitely Plebian.
Oliver Carter
>Shasvastii started infinity because of the camo shell game...current edition is lacking I hope they do some justice for making me wait so long for them.
Brayden Young
Gwailo fireteam is pretty fucking good though. And I've seen some good Shas camo/impersonation lists.
Lucas Ross
I run 2 killers, 2 hmg drones, 3 shrouded FO, Mally hacker and a noctifer ML and docworm normally. Its very hard for people to deal with that
Levi Allen

William Price
Goddamn infinity minis look good Totally independent of Infinity (sadly I'm a poorfag that doesn't play) but propaganda doesn't have to be false. Something like America making a statement that North Korea has massive food shortages is both true and propaganda.
Josiah Williams
sometimes I do bit+kiss and docworm trade for mally.
Samuel Price
What's the story with this? Did some humans finally see who the good guys are?
Jack Bell
Nah, Ariadna players decided to take their role as Spess Cops seriously during the Wotan event, which got a bug up the Nomads' players collective asses, and they've been spewing this kind of propaganda ever since.
Matthew Carter
I like your style.
Angel Rodriguez
Damn, was hoping someone would have seen the true saviors of humanity.
Hudson Rodriguez
>poorfag You see the 300 point boxes? They sell them at below cost.
Cameron Brooks
Bit did.
Blake Robinson
And ko dali
Charles Myers
>the true saviors of humanity PanO?
William Harris
They are under the influence of ALEPH who is just going to control them and the rest of the human sphere when it's strong enough. Meanwhile the EI will let humanity stay like it was except better with no conflict and maybe even offer them transcendence when the time comes.
Eli Foster
Hello.
Luis Roberts
>humanity >better with no conflict
You know how I know you're a Shasvastii?
Zachary Myers
So which should be the first human faction to fall when the EI starts to get serious?
I vote for either ALEPH or Nomads.
Thomas Wilson
I'm not one of those quiet and a little weird lizards, try again.
Carson Morales
Correct answer.
Nolan Reed
See
Nicholas Perez
But if that were the case, the EI would just adopt them, not destroy them.
Infinity has a weird relationship with the competitive side. I think it took root early as a reaction against Warmachine and 40k. There is a balance between unit strengths/list composition and player skill. Infinity is definitely weighted more on the player skill side but a lot of the community want to believe it rests there entirely. Look at discussion around TAGs or 10 order lists.
It's been refreshing lately to see some of that changing with things like the all the lists being published after Interplanetario and the analysis that went into that.

Tyler Myers
You have 4 points left over. There is no reason not to take an Imetron. It's an interesting list. Find a way to take some Datrazi to support your Charontid.
Owen Watson
I've been out of touch since Icestorm/N3 dropped.
What's happened of note? Is Tunguska a sectorial yet? Are Intruders still the best?
Parker Cox
Thanks I took your pointers into account and updated it:
On side note, are there any REMs that really benefit from Marksmanship L2 from Assisted Fire beyond the Lu Duan, Ru Shi and Q-Drone? Is the Xeodron too points heavy to give it Assisted Fire? Also what do PanO players think of the Bulleteer Armbot with Heavy Shotgun, Marksmanship L2 and it's ODD?
Tyler Perry
Looking better, I would play that. Note that imetrons can't be moved between combat groups so most people put them in the main group.
There are few remotes that aren't great with MML2. TR bots and Qdrone are great. Xeodron is a TAG though so no buffing. Unidrons in Onyx with a full five man link and buffs are insane.
Jaxon Smith
Human Sphere upgraded to N3 No, next book Yes
Chase Walker
You're a genius, I completely forgot about Onyx. I feel lack a Charontid though.
This is the best I could do with Onyx: GwBgLAPgzCIQKgCwKYAIDOBLAHgF0agKoB2mAxgE4D2xqAhqhcgCYCuxzdxZAnqgGZUKqfGgA2mYgGsIARgCkADhAAmeVFmyA7PICEC5Wo3a9B1es079S88atmjmsKZuPZz/cCUmNitbpU1PygLRUU9QKUVEN9w3WdlAFYLKDUAARUDSN8rTKjHRXsE2WSNLQBOCJAohV8vAOq/WtlFeqCQGM1K/Uq/at9k/RDFdwstHTS0oA===

>implying cubeless savages would be capable of seeing the light Those fucks can't even work with their own race when it's a good idea, and it's not like any of their past experiences with aliens have been positive. Besides, with their pathetic population, shitty tech and leadership incapable of wrangling its own people, you might as well just wipe them out anyway even if their top brass does cooperate. Not like anything of value will be lost.
Thomas Watson
>What's happened of note? A lot. Haris is now almost everywhere, there's Fireteam Duos, many weapons have been changed around (eg. Feurebach is now a long range anti-tank gun rather than a short range strong puncher), there's new skills and TAG pilots are specialists. Two new sectorials since you left, USAriadna Ranger Force and Onyx. Also Kriza Boracs are finally a real unit and they fucking murder.
Hudson Diaz
Noctifer Lt is kinda bleah. I would make the Nexus the Lt and drop an Imetron to pick up a Fraacta.
Josiah Carter
Noctifer Lt is really the only "safe" Lt in Onyx. OTOH Onyx is kinda about living dangerously.
Benjamin Davis
Isn't the Haqqislam planet just one jump away from Paradiso?
Their warriors were good enough to stave off attacks from much better funded and more advanced forces. Also their planet has some really good metal on it. That's got to be worth something.
They've got no cubes and don't know how to interface with even current human tech, not to mention population levels unfit for any conquest. A few good guerilla fighters aren't worth it, especially when they'd much rather use those asymmetric warfare skills against you than your enemies.
The metal can be taken after they're virus bombed. Only reason the human sphere hasn't done it yet is because they're pussies and O12 wants to keep the bigger empires in check.
>Isn't the Haqqislam planet just one jump away from Paradiso? Yep, but I'm guessing they'll go after Svalarheima first. Cutting off Silk supply isn't something CA should really want to do, certainly not this early in the war. All that nice mining shit on Svalarheima, on the other hand, is fair game.
> My opponent demanded to know the combat groups of my camo tokens, which is not public information (that is why it is not on courtesy lists). Huh, I actually didn't know that, but it not showing up on the courtesy list makes sense. The rest of that is total horseshit though.
Jordan Davis
As a CA player, makes me have real mixed feelings about Bit & Kiss. Logan probably cheated his way to the top of the ratings.
Nicholas Watson
I would but he'd have a massive target painted on his head. I've burnt a lot of orders in the past to hunt down and kill a Nexus Lt. in the past with a Spetznaz HMG and Foxtrot BSG.
Man, I really love Foxtrot BSG so good for 19 points.
Alexander Torres
I take it logan was the winning dude?
Cooper Allen
Defeats the purpose of using mines as part of the shell game if they can just point to a marker and ask which group its in.
Parker Harris
He was the dude who topped the ITS rankings, who was the opponent who cheated vs. Plebian at the Interplanetario.
Julian Morris
That's right. I'd tell the guy to get fucked. I'd like to see someone run this:
I started infinity 1 month ago, really enjoying the whole experience.
>Fantastic models >I love the skimpy aesthetic, combat heels and cute grills contrasted with everything else, it's fun >Acceptable price >Rules seem pretty good so far, everything is multiples of 3, special rules are universal - Only played a handful of games though >Local community is full of great guys >Local 20+ player tournaments are hitting player cap, this doesn't happen in my main game (Malifaux) >ITS seems like a fun system, even though I'm not super competitive >Never been in to Sci-fi but it's growing on me
If this keep up Infinity might just get a promotion from side chick to main.
Sebastian Murphy
to be fair malifaux was designed to be the side chick.
glad to see people having fun.
Jaxson Stewart
Not hiding game rules behind a paywall goes a long way.
Cooper Thompson
Welcome to the party user. Glad to hear you're enjoying yourself.
Xavier Garcia
What happened after? Did he get booted? Or nothing?
James Miller
I legit don't know. Plebian did his best avoid making a witch hunt out of it.
Alexander Sanchez
Based Plebian.
What usually happens when people cheat at wargames, the TO tries to forget and but the players remember. Logan's soft-like pig shit, it would have been easy top cause a full-blowout but I guess that's a case for another day.
Elijah Gutierrez
Sounds like a stand up dude.
Eli Harris
ITS is alright, the need to use Specialists is needless model peddling. If mission object ctives could be accomplished by almost any model we'd see even more varied models hit the field.
t. Muttawiah
Leo Myers
I actually agree that the de-emphasis on specialists in ITS 9 has increased list diversity.
Jonathan Nguyen
>offer them transcendence it has been heavily implied the EI will never figure out trascendence, only the first AI constructed by the Ur Rationalist did, and that was because it was unbound (unlike the EI which is shackled so it cannot betray the Ur Hegemony) Aleph likely wants to find out more about the first AI constructed by the Ur Hegemony so it can ascend as well
Daniel Lewis
They're fairly certain, however, that they can "ride the coattails" of another ascending entity to Nirvana. Hence their current projects.
Jack Foster
I'm stuck on my next purchase. Xeodrone box or overdrone for my onyx force army. what are the pros and cons of each? can you guy help me pick? I wish both was an acceptable answer
Samuel Long
That's good to know, when I met Carlos we chatted about Specialists hampering diversity. That and US Ariadna getting the operators from Predator (Dutch and the gang) as a release. Fingers crossed, I hope he makes that a reality some day.
Liam Collins
Cheers!
You can buy all the cards digitally now for $10, but it should have happened way sooner.. Core rules are free now though.
Not so sure it's intentional model peddling, every box I've bought so far has specialists in it, I am collecting Aleph though, so their starter, support pack and posthumans has given me at least one of each specialist so far.
Luke Gray
Do you have a Samaritan? If yes, I think you should get the Xeos. If no, get the Overdron.
Isaac James
I'd be down with that if CA got an equivalent "Predator" unit. Maybe a MI or HI camo Shas. With super-jump.
Fuck it, just port the old jumpy Exrah profile, but give it jungle terrain.
Easton Sullivan
My local Ariadna players favourite trick is to provide a blank page as his courtesy list.
Justin Ortiz
I do have a samaritan, is the samaritan the only makes the xeodrone batter than the overdrone?
Matthew White
i think the use of specialist in ITS 9 has reached a good point where you are not gimping your list to incorporate too many button pushers but you also have to balance bringing something other than heavy guns At my LGS we have started to add hackable and engineerable scenery bits (blast doors, gravity generators which if destroyed by dick charges create 0G zones, neutral total reaction HMG which can be hacked to switch to one's side, etc...) and it really add a bit of an advantage to taking those troops. it needs to be balanced carefully not to break any mission and so that it doesn't add too much clutter (for example, we don't add anything to biotechvore since its already fast-paced and require no specialist anyway) but if done well it certainly add value to bringing specialist as well as variety
Alexander Miller
PanO can play that game too.
Juan Jackson
They both have different roles, it's just that the Xeos can only form a Haris w/ a Samaritan, and I think that's the most intuitive way to run them. Having a solo Xeo w/ Red Fury is ok too.
