Fuck Tok

L-lewd.

well not literally

he has scabies you know

Tok is a falseflag and sock-puppet, infoanon.com

Maybe is my inner nig talking, but couldn't you just pick Man in Fancy suit and then move out immediately taking with you all the Appliances&Furniture that are not locked down/on fire?

AGHHH I grew accustomed to appchan clearing the name field. FML

Okay some more questions for Fantasy Nation Builder V.2.0.

Would people rather have one big world map, a close up map of each individual region (and some surrounding areas), or both?

Would the idea of cultures (such as Militant, Religious, Mercantile, etc.) be something people would like?

How detailed should waifu descriptions be? I'm going to have a huge number of them so I thought to keep the whole political theme going the ruler of the respective land would give a short blurb about their relative and why you should definitely marry them. Keep it brief since they want you hitched as soon as they can.

Is the idea of other nations having first choice of an area going to sit well with others? By that I mean I will draw the region in a program and the parts of that region controlled by a power, and then you can choose your area from the remainder. The current landmarks of the area will be edited to fit your landform choices (i.e. even if you chose an area with no indicated mountains there will be if you chose Mountain landforms).

Do people like how some of the fantasy nations have generally fewer abilities but also ones which are unique and unattainable by the player, or would they rather be more similar to the player in terms of choices?

Do people like me narrating the CYOA, or would they prefer a nameless and faceless one?

>Would people rather have one big world map, a close up map of each individual region (and some surrounding areas), or both?
Both
>Would the idea of cultures (such as Militant, Religious, Mercantile, etc.) be something people would like?
Yes
>How detailed should waifu descriptions be? No waifu shit
>Is the idea of other nations having first choice of an area going to sit well with others? No
>Do people like how some of the fantasy nations have generally fewer abilities but also ones which are unique and unattainable by the player, or would they rather be more similar to the player in terms of choices?
Similar to the Player
>Do people like me narrating the CYOA, or would they prefer a nameless and faceless one?
Narration is good

as long as i'm able to make a nomadic horde/ghengis khan esque nation i'm cool dude, dont know what to ask for much else than that.

it might not be the type of thing you want to make which i understand but damn do i love that shit, born on a saddle and all that.

my obsession with nomadic tribes may or may not come from copious amounts of EU4 play and Otoyomegatari.

just the concept of a people with strong shaministic tradition tying the people to the land and their local gods, not controlling bastions of civilization but rather large swathes of untamed steppe where the people live hunter and gatherer lifestyles, living off the land, trading for what they can't get themselves and perhaps even raiding for anything else.

that's not even bringing up my fetish of several tens of thousand angry asian men horseback coming to fuck your shit up and burn you lands to ash for the fucking fun.

and remember that these niggas conquered all of china at some point so don't give me any shit about their potential viability, just because they're called hordes doesn't mean they aren't organized enough to lay siege to a castle.

1.Both, but if I had to choose close up would be preferable

2. Yes not only cultures but that you could specifically decide what your army excells in(having best guerilla/archers/seafaring/mass army/knightly orders/etc.)

3.as detailed as you don't feel mentally exhausted to write, big variety would be preferable.

4. Us choosing first is preferable, but if you have countries already set in stone in your mind, won't be against choosing leftovers

5.each nation should be unique, having strong power only specific race can have is okay

6. Narrative is good if it doesn't restrict too much our choices of the background(we're not forced to be eldest son of a late king who was simply chosen for the throne)

Go full balls to the wall. Get as many fortifications from as many cultures as you can. Let us have multiple cities. Give us multiple forms of government and rule. Designate military force numbers, expand types of units, divide between standing armies and garrisons. Let us have some control of the cultures and beliefs of our citizenry.

>where the people live hunter and gatherer lifestyles

But nomads were not hunters gatherers but had vast hordes of cattle

>tfw I have finally added costs and "balanced" all options in my wip
If we're all overpowered, then no one is!

you're right, and i'm no expert by any means.

i just got carried away about hordes and really didn't care to check the accuracy of the words i was saying, because damn was there no horde love last cyoa.

>my overpowered counters your overpowered :/\)

As misplaced as it is, I usually have the trust that most anons have enough common sense to gauge power levels reasonably.

>Would people rather have one big world map, a close up map of each individual region, or both?
Both.
>Would the idea of cultures (such as Militant, Religious, Mercantile, etc.) be something people would like?
Absolutely. It's always nice when something like this lets you play the merchant, or just generally someone not out to murderfuck everybody.
>How detailed should waifu descriptions be? Keep it brief. Give their basic personality in terms of archetype, anything else important we should know, then let us fill in the blanks. Leave it open to our interpretation if the barbarian queen is a hard dom, a secret sub, or a hand-holding /u/fag. Honestly, I'd say even omit names that aren't plot-relevant.
>Is the idea of other nations having first choice of an area going to sit well with others? I think it could work, but include an option to pick first at the cost of something.
>Do people like how some of the fantasy nations have generally fewer abilities but also ones which are unique and unattainable by the player, or would they rather be more similar to the player in terms of choices?
Broadly, similar to the player. Only with rare exceptions should something break the rules, and overdoing it makes it insignificant.
>Do people like me narrating the CYOA, or would they prefer a nameless and faceless one?
Narration is good. It adds flavor.

I think cettle horde that are civilized and dumb hordes of savages can even be made into two different groups, doubling diversty of this underrepresented groups

>Dickscord posted Tok's face photoshopped to gay porn

>discord

I don't know what discord you're in, but it's not the actual one from the pastebin.

Man. You know anyone can just go over and see you're lying right?

wait, really? or are you just shitposting

It's not there

>doesn't have access to the secret channel

Doesn't exist, cunt

Close up map.

For your people, I think it should either be left to your own fluff OR have a robust [Chad of Troubles-like] socioeconomic Chaos Frame system. So you take Alchemists, +3 Artisan points. Alcoholic, +1 Belligerent +2 Chaotic points. Drug Abuser? -2 Belligerent +2 Luxurious +1 Gregarious +3 Degenerate points. Make Drawbacks OBLIGATORY and offer no more points, your people aren't special snowflakes YOU are. You could even go one further and add a Sid Meier's Civ like Cultural tab with shit like Parliament, Caste System, Meritocracy, Ancestor Worship, etc.

I'm a avoidant sociopath so I really see waifus as mechanical additions.

Fuck year yes. CYOAS need more SNAFUs you build/adapt around. CYOAs need conflict and plots instead of moar waifus.

Unique abilities, with the caveat of being able to integrate the teachings of you're waifu's nation.

I like the sudden tone break, feel it spices things up and slightly shifts the tone of conversation. It's self-aware isekai, you can expect some level of tongue-in-cheek commentaries and asides(especially given the length).

nani?
[This is text inside a spoiler tag and brackets]
[ same as above but there are spaces before and after ]
Sorry, the Chad thing was supposed to be spoiler and brackets. Is this how they do the bosskeletonrp shit?

Is there a good army builder CYOA? You can buff up your army numbers and stats and roll dice against other pre-made armies using your stat modifiers.

I don't think there is. But someone should make one or post something close.

The Kancolle CYOA is approaching that.

holy fuck that was a good edit

Tok has a face?

So when do you think the last time these threads were consistently good was?

I feel like there was a brief window of a month or two around May-June this year that saw some good stuff, but before and after that its been largely terrible with any interesting OC quickly drowned and forgotten.

>May-June this year
You mean last year.

a long time ago

> implying the magic would work outside the magical nexus

>tfw Tok

>Implying magic works that way

>mfw SDA

Post a CYOA you haven't seen in a while!

Girls Military? It should be in the archive.

...

Chocolate Cake. Are they cursed or something

>Make Drawbacks OBLIGATORY and offer no more points
That I too agree, contry should have set number of advantages and drawbacks. But no more or less that specified, else you will have on one hand perfect society of average Joes that only excel in neutrality and on another drunken but hardworking, pious but glutonous, crazy, bipolar, amoral military society of giant strongmen

The flan is the cutest.

There any CYOA about building a tank and crewing it?

>they see me for what I am
Guess I'll take Cake to add some semblance of worth and not make my daily life a living hell.

...

will you hurry the fuck up and post the rest pls?

...

>The flan is the little girl option
Jackpot. I pick it again.

...

Is there more?

post the rest, faggot

Why is this thread so slow today?

Christmas is cumming.

...

fuck you

People are dying so Italics can build his skeleton army for nefarious purposes against cyoa-kind.

Just enjoy it. A quiet thread is infinitely better than the usual.

Also, I pick the Wizards Staff though the Shooter was tempting.

Found a more updated version of

last page. I got the Soldier of the Stars standalone DLC if ya guys want it.

Yeah and it was a pretty good one.

>Happiness
>offset the karmic debt into a hundred poo in loos being born every minute
What's the catch?

>Wealth&Youth
Use the money to found a clinic
Pay corrupt nurses to bring me the blood of a child who is deathbound(one of those heartbreaking cancer stories) and occasionally do bogus blood analysis on certain kids to fullfill the quota

For the chalice:
The average 10yo weights around 75 pounds.

A chart I found says a 75 pound child will have around 2480-2800 mL of blood, while one quart is 946 mL.

Removing up to 30% of blood by volume is easily dealt with, 40% and up is fatal, so look for fat kids.

Other options: remove blood, give blood transfusion, or take the blood in small doses and preserve it, as the description doesn't say it needs to be fresh blood.

In short, I'm taking the coin. One flip will pay off all my debt and kickstart my retirement, and that's all I need.

Not sire I really want any of that, though I might grab the chalice of Youth and consider how to humanely obtain fuel for its use at some point in the future. I wonder what would happen if I inserted just one crystal eye of prophecy, though, and wore an eyepatch to switch my sight back and forth. Probably nothing but losing my depth perception, having to complete the set for them to work.

I love that cyoa. I adore it.

When CYOA's actually felt like something new to me. That spark died years ago.

Hey MEGA user, file these under "Ghostwriter"

...

My new favorite, any more comfy home cyoa's?

...

>dickscord
Hey MEGA user, file these under shit-tier

please have my babies

I think I'd end up choosing Elizabeth in this scenario, with Luna a close second.

As much as I want to help Penelope, I feel like my shortcomings may actually push her to suicide. I'm not good enough for her, and I feel as though I'd just end up breaking her heart. (Especially since I don't even know what her personality is like)

Nariko is extremely nice, though I'm not exactly a fan of the rowdy and stubborn personality traits. She probably comes to a close second when it comes to knowing who I am, right behind Luna.

Luna is amazing (I mean she sort of created me, or at least someone like me) It's highly likely that I would end up in a happy relationship with her, because that's how she views our relationship.

I feel like I should choose Elizabeth though, because she tries so hard for me. And she deserves to be rewarded for all of her efforts, and to not feel so empty.

Really I'm not worthy of any of these women.

Hey Tok, who would you choose? I don't think I've ever seen you post your own build. (Actually come to think of it I don't think I've ever seen any cyoa author post a build to their own cyoa. Is there a reason for that?)

>Skills
Brewer’s Palms
Charm
Education
Hunter-Gatherer
Medicine

A wandering alchemist and brewer

>Treasures
Charms and awards

Sown into my clothes and tattooed on my body

>Travellers
Rhodes
Steiner
Catherine Cartwright

Totally not adventurers. Nope. Also, Rhodes is CUTE

As I’ve come to expect from Gbostwriter, the characters are really well written. For not being an adventurer, the Skills actually sounds pretty damn useful, as do the treasures. Had it not specified how weak the player character is, I’d hardly believe the claims against being an adventurer. That said, it is a bit hard for me to imagine being that weak, but it is a good subversion of usual expectations. The art and design is really on point here as well. I only say 9/10 because I wish there was more, but that’s sort of the point, isn’t it?

Background: Warfare

Training region: Ancient pagoda
Bonus perk: Carnivorous forest

Fist: Iron grip (free),parry palm, pulse palm , thunderclap, jab, uppercut, corkscrew, throw, mending massage , knockout

Foot :Conditioning ,sprint dash ,gatling kick, boundless leap, second wind

Flex: Herculean strength, immaculate voice ,esoteric grace

Freeform: Drunkard

Legacy: lightning

Title: Asura

Familiar: Mutton chop ram

Challenge: Free spirit

Thank you! I hope I can keep meeting your expectations.

You bring up some good points I'd like to address:
I've come to notice that I haven't quite emphasized the danger of the world itself. Some of my scrapped writing would have helped, but I hope to outline it better in the future. Also, I'm going to make some Bonus Sections since I agree that there should be more, and I'll include better bits of contrast between the character and the world.

Anybody got a good zombie survival/apocalypse cyoa or any kind like that

>I hope I can keep meeting your expectations.
>keep
You never did faggot
kys

I will say my only real issue is that I have a hard time imagining myself so weak and helpless. To your credit, every aspect of the content is strong enough to help me suspend that disbelief. I understand that is the point, but those are my subjective thoughts on it.

fuk u mang

My goal was to shift the usual focus of a fantasy setting away from combat or adventuring, and force the player to consider what they would do with a more ordinary life. It takes a lot of people to populate the towns and roads, after all.

well arent you just adorable

What is with the increased hostility as of late?

go chug a bottle of soy sauce weeb

I choose Zynthia, duh.
