My Dawi were once from the realm of life, but then Nurgle fucked them up and they had to leave and crash at Sigmar's place.
Now they are in the process of reclaiming their mountains from Nurgle.

So I'm starting up Fyreslayers and I wanted to know if this is a good list to build towards? Its a damn shame that Hearthguard are so expensive per model, but I still love em to bits.

Also, I'm really wanting to paint my naked dwarves kinda like Duergar from D&D? Dark grey skin, whiteish hair, bright silver with blue tint to it (mythril) with very little gold accenting. Maybe a dark blue for the leathery bits. Cracked lava bases for contrast. I can say they're from the land of shadow and actually do use subterfuge and stealth to get around.

Well, the Spire Of Dawn (IoB reboxing) little story happens in floating islands in Hysh garrisoned by Swifthawk Agents (= aelves).
And the Aelves in Silver Tower comes from Ulgu. And there is little snippets everywhere about those realms, but absolutely nothing compared to 6 others.

Yeah, bonesplitterz savage boyz are splitted into three warscrolls so why not. I mean this is lazy as fuck but with so many warscrolls you could actually have some variety with list-building and still stick with a pretty cheap army box

Seraphon Newb is back again.
I tried out the Warscroll Builder. How's this list? I can make by grabbing a Slaan Starmaster, a Stegadon, a Bastilodon and 2 SC! Seraphon boxes.

Slaan tries to grab the "reroll 1s" for the entire army ability.

2 Skink priests since they seem pretty decent at shooting, plus give me a better chance of getting that insane "reroll saves, runs and charges" aura

Oldblood Carnosaur as Warlord so he can buff himself and the other Oldblood Carnosaur (could also run this guy as a Scar Veteran) 2 bonus attacks to ensure their "Pinned" special rule procs more reliably

Bastilodons seem really durable with Mystic shield/reroll combo, but I also took a Stegadon since that flamer plus the 3d6 stomp attacks seem amazing for dealing with hordes.

Knights and Warriors are just there for chaff.

All in all, if everything works out, the entire army is rerolling 1s to hit, run rolls, charge rolls and armor saves as well.
Anything I should change about this list? Switch one Oldblood to a Scar Veteran? Drop the Stegadon for a second Bastilodon? Find a way to fit an Astrolith Bearer for more rerolls.

shoot just realized the 10 man unit of knights should actually be a 20 man unit of warriors.

Just started rushing through the AoS Audiobooks on Audible and wanted to know if Beastclaw Raiders get any love, so far it seems to just unsurprisingly be Sigmarines blasting through every faction of Choas with little opposition.

Reposting from last thread, idk what to call them. The idea behind the bleeding eyes is that these Stormcast are reforged sinners. They can't deal with the shit they did in their past and they're almost suicidal in terms of their tactics. They want to forget, they want to die and be reforged.

See, it's the opposite for me. AoS is really picking up here and there's nothing that I want to dedicate my time/money to despite actually enjoying the games I played.

Spider Riders are using 60x35mm Oval bases. You can just buy a single rider for $3-4, spread it legs out and put it on 50mm base. Just add some extra bits from Arachnarok kit and you have a Grot Big Boss on Gigantic Spider that is not a shitcast model for $40

Not to shit on you, as i'm sure as indhividual models they look fantastic but as an army that just looks to much like a cluster fuck of colour for my taste.

The thing about SC is that they are invariably heroes, even the biggest dickheads and assholes among them are, so being called the Unredeemed would be quite odd.
Wanting to be reforged also doesn't really gel with the idea that the reforging process costs very limited resources, i.e the remains of the core of the-world-that-was. Sigmar has more preccing concerns than rezzing a bunch of suicidal lemmings.
I do like the idea of them weeping blood though (which might be their unique flaw when it comes to being reforged), so I'd try to go at it from that angle. Maybe they feel so strongly about the sad state of affairs in the mortal realms that they can't help but weep over it.
Great sorrow is one of the classic halmarks of heroes, after all.
