I mean I know real warhammers have a small head, not like WoW hammers. But surely the head is AT LEAST as large as a light hammer's, plus a longer haft?
I want to make an ancients paladin that is a very light hearted forest dweller type that picks flowers and mushrooms and sings to birds and stuff. I have most things figured out, but I can't decide which approach to take in terms of strength vs dex:
>Dexterity
>>"chain shirt" refluffed as heavily layered barkcloth and wool cloaks
>>"rapier" refluffed as spindly spear made out of a long branch
>Strength
>>"chainmail" refluffed as carefully treated wooden pieces secured over the above outfit
>>"warhammer" refluffed as a big, knobbly staff/club
Either way, will be wearing a wooden helmet, be generally festooned with all sorts of pouches and bits of plants and other kickknacks, and use a shield made from a slice of an old round stump.

Seems pretty much like a neverending Bardic Inspiration, a free flat 4(At my level)+Advantage per Help action (From 30 feet away) is pretty fucking useful, and I should pass the DC 15 check 90% of the time.
