Can the Fireteam duo Wu Ming get used in the Core fireteams?
Wyatt Ross
I don't know what you're asking.
Jeremiah Thomas
There are wu ming profiles with extra fireteam duo rules. Are they allowed to be selected for the normal 5 man fireteams or are those profiles for duo only.
Eli Green
That was pretty heartbreaking. I was expecting a fun adventure, not this.
Jack Evans
fuck is beeba?
Jack Jones
Yes, you're good to go. You only need one guy with Duo or Haris to enable a team, but neither has to be used.
Adrian Wilson
I want a warcor but I want it to match Yu Jing aesthetics. Any ideas for alternate models/conversions?
Blake Scott
...
Noah Turner
Dragon Lady, GoGo Marlene?
Matthew Collins
>GoGo Marlene
Oh that one looks good. Where do you get that from?
Michael Evans
going for like 100 USD on ebay, lol fuck nevermind. Was a good idea though.
Anybody got any other ideas a bit less premium price wise?
Angel Watson
Scalpers gonna scalp
>tfw most of the early LE figures untouched in my drawer
Blake Carter
I made this list out of basically all of the models I own. Might drop into an ITS this weekend. No intention of winning alot, but should be fun just to play.
Austin Green
that only thing that bothers me is how crap (statwise) the LE models are. I guess it doesn't make it too desirable or unbalanced.
There aren't that many without some general release version and I believe even those that don't will get some in the future. I think Knauf and Cubejäger are the only ones with no official version released since their conception and as per ITS rules you're legally allowed to take some proxy for them, I believe.
Miranda, Joe Turner and Le Muet took their sweet time to appear to general public, but were released eventually.
Blake Wilson
>Cubejäger I am still confused at what this profile excels at. also, nice trips
Gavin James
It's a nice option for factions that don't have similiar option at that price point, like PanO. Nomads don't care, for they have superior Tomcat doctor for a few points more.
Blake Miller
So the last thread I was told that I should hold off on buying the MRRF starter because they're going to get a revamp soon™; new models and rules.
I'm really digging how they look now, especially the jackets the Metros and the Loup guys have.
How do they play currently and how big are the changes going to be for them?
Nicholas Rodriguez
You don't need so many doctors also it would be better to take a Ghulam as a a LT. Djanbzan here would be your assault piece. Can you list all the models you own?
Blake Parker
If you like the current models, there's no harm getting them.
What we know of the revamp that it's supposed to reflect their rapid response nature by relying heavily on some planned "reinforcement rules".
Liam Murphy
Their big thing is the midfield. Most of their units either start halfway up the board or are expected to move there during the game. They have many options to lock down the centre of the board and Chasseurs are one of the best infiltrators in the game.
Not sure what the changes will do. Apparently there will be new reinforcement rules (maybe meaning late deployment, I'm not sure) in the next book, and FRRM will make heavy use of that. However for the most part I think their style of ripping into the midfield will remain the same.
Parker Williams
This is a bad list but here you go CwBgjAPgzCIQggOwPaIM4AIA2BLNAXDCMMAUihNJLAHZSBCMmMsEANgFYGnwr2AmbuV6s2IBh0EAOYAE5yMLvWDCVrGlIZR5UbVX4goW4UfVl6bYZf5TZgi1b6yjAARvl3JNnXruonsDZNZS4oYC4wfncXFyA
It's a bit better than yours
Nolan Thompson
Looks like I'm ordering some stuff.
In addition to the starter box, any other good pick ups I should get? Support Pack? Might get the Loup Box because they're awesome looking regardless.
Christopher Thompson
How do I build a Guija list? The models too cool to pass up.
Gabriel Robinson
Either Loup box+sniper, Briscard box+HRL, or both. Those are the most common and well regarded link teams.
Definitely Chasseurs, as many as possible. You'll want more Chasseurs than there are sculpts, but the Hunzakut models from Haqq can make quite good proxies.
Mirage 5 is a good investment, they're a very nasty and versatile assault team.
Owen Young
Hey Infinity General,
Any idea when Shasvastii are getting an update? I really like the models but apparently the drones aren't available anymore and their rules are yet to be updated.
I am new so my knowledge of the release schedule/rumors/whatever is non-existent.
I have Aleph as my first army, looking at Corregidor and Shasvastii as my next ones, would prefer to do Shasvastii next but wont if their update is nowhere in sight.
Alexander Hernandez
It may be as part of a sectorial pack for one of the big releases of March, May, August, or November. But no guarantees to anything.
Only things rumored and leaked are Thorakitai, A Charontid, Bit&Kiss, Garuda BS, Neema Satar, Cube Jaeger, and for the next month: Kanren, Druze, Szalamandra, and a Nexus.
Ian Rodriguez
>She want to fucks her TAG I can understand her.
Charles Wright
Next year at some point, we dunno when. They're getting a big overhaul. Honestly I'd hold off until then unless you have interest in some vanilla CA as well.
Charles Ward
Cheers guys, guess I'll just do Corregidor first.
Yeah not interested in Vanilla CA at all, just want to pure Shasvastii.
Hudson Allen
>apparently the drones aren't available anymore The drones got new models.
Kayden Jones
>Mirage 5 is a good investment Speaking of Werewolves, are they the only Dog Soldier unit available to the MRRF? I'd love some Devil Dogs or something similar.
Blake Reed
Ayup. They don't do much with Dogfaces.
Matthew Martin
Aww. That's a little disappointing. Think there's any hope of the MRRF getting some in the coming revamp?
Zachary Reyes
Probably not. Merovingia's probably the most Antipode-free (and thus Dogface-free) area of Ariadna.
Elijah Bailey
Ah, well. Nothing is perfect. At least there will be hope for the future.
I will also have to use the shit out of Mirage-5
Joshua Flores
She also had crush on Domovoi
Easton Watson
>Bit&Kiss Have we seen anything other than concept art?
Jaxon Johnson
Or just splash some vanilla Ariadna for your off list.
Cameronian irregular /DogWarrior (i prefer irregular to dog warriors due to kilts and $$$) Plus devil dog team plus antipode assault pack. Run a wolf pack. Use wolf pack tactics. It will be fun as fuck.
Loup garou arent ideal in vanilla but chaussers are still amazing.
Tyler Rogers
Home rule for Career Earnings in the Infinity roleplaying game: rolling 6 on the special dice increases your earnings by 1.
Benjamin Adams
are ORC troopers worth using?
Nathaniel Bailey
I'm thinking of starting infinity and I'm undecided what faction to play. I really dig the ariadna models but that's because I mostly paint spec ops and paramilitary stuff for other games so that feel carries over.
But also the Tohaa seem cool and none of the guys near me play them, why could that be? simply because they are the newest faction or do they suck?
Nicholas Collins
They're a newer faction, so less popular for that reason... they're also advertised as an "advanced" faction, whatever that means (nothing). Tohaa are generally considered to be pretty powerful.
Tohaa are high biotech with genetically engineered servant-races and viral weaponry. Ariadna have current-gen tech as well as some alien-human hybrids (the werewolf guys) and are thrust into a world that plays by anime rules.
Alexander Cox
Must haves (imo):
Guija 1 Mech Engineer 2 Yaozao
Opinion:
Zhanshi Hacker Killer Hacker(s) Rui Shi Yaokong
The idea behind the opinion picks is that Yu Jing has no tools to make their TAG harder to hack. That means you need to kill their hackers and have a tool to free your TAG. The Remotes are there to roll with your TAG so your Killer Hacker gets an ARO through the Repeater. This list also gets you access to Fairy Dust so throwing in a couple of Zuyong/Domaru would be a good call too.
Owen Jones
Ignore the complainers. You have a strong list that can engage a multitude of enemies.
Personally I would swap one Ghulam doctor to a Ghulam sniper. Personally I would put khawarij as the LT since he can camp in the back for 1~2 turns and then haul ass to a critical location w/ the LT order.
Tyler Sanchez
Tohaa have a lot of rules specific to them. Essentially, if you play Tohaa starting off you won't be that screwed over but all the other factions will be really weird to play.
Charles Peterson
A lone viral rifle Loup in vanilla is still some mean shit. Go hunting for things to counter with the only BTS weapon in the entire faction (and a highly potent one at that), then start up some glorious suppressive fire with viral ammo+x visor. Other profiles aren't so good, there are better snipers and shotty can only really shine with the extra burst of a link.
Jeremiah Rogers
Yeah sure, they're okay. If your main killy unit is short ranged and you value toughness a lot in your backup killers, the HMG is solid. It can also be your LT, which is very nice.
Asher Morris
That's good advice. Maybe if, or when, I am a little bored of being Space-French I'll branch out.
So is the support box for MRRF useful at all?
Jordan Brown
>The idea behind the opinion picks is that Yu Jing has no tools to make their TAG harder to hack.
That's not completely true. EVO Pangguling can throw up Reboot which gives enemy hackers -3 WIP against any model that makes a Reset F2F.
Andrew Gonzalez
Oh snap I missed that one, thanks for the correction.
Yeah the Pangguling would be a really good addition and can facilitate a strong Guilang/Remote list.
Camden Gray
>Guilang You mean Guijia? Gaylangs make every list strong, because of their mighty strength.
Jordan Ward
Yes, I mean Guijia
Matthew Perry
You mean Traktor Muls? Sure, Uragan and Katyusha are cheap ordnance and provide some AP and DA ammunition.
Adrian Morris
I found them to be decent and can Harris, but are just so boring rule wise. They'll be an amazing link team for the new sectorial probably.
Brandon Hall
Hi Bart!
Oliver Hall
>They'll be an amazing link team for the new sectorial probably. I'm skeptical about that desu. Competing with linked Kamau (mimetism with MSV2 profile and many specialists) and the Cutter (it's the fucking Cutter) at the same time is gonna make things tough. Looking at Mobile Brigada (a very similar unit), the main reason they're such a popular pain train is because CJC is full of cheap, efficient and versatile specialists that allow MBs to chug orders without kneecapping the whole list. By themselves they're quite bland compared to something like Wu Ming or Magisters. Unless some new units flip things on its head Varuna doesn't seem like it's going to have those fantastic cheap specialists, so my hopes aren't high for the Orc core link unless they get some crazy profiles or the ability to slot in a versatile filler troop to keep costs down.
Carter Scott
I guess you are right, the Kamau might even be better than the Bagh Mari and are suprisingly cheap. That MSV2 sniper really makes the difference.
Elijah Thompson
What's the most amount of dice you can assemble in a single normal/FtF roll?
Dylan Scott
Seems to be 5, though there is no hard cap. They just never give higher burst weapons and several ways to stack burst bonuses to same unit. So you might have two burst 3 weapons in a link (3 + 1 +1), burst 4 weapon in a link (4 + 1), burst 4 and Full Auto lvl 1 (4 + 1) or HRMC (5).
Landon Hill
5. Maximum on both sides is 9, with a burst 5 weapon vs a TR bot or Sin Eater.
Aaron Thompson
I meant the Firemen and Combat Engineers.
Robert Torres
As a new player getting into Nomads, what would a Mobile Brigada-centered list actually look like? I'm still not really certain what sorts of things are generally needed or desired in general, let alone for a list that seems like it'd be focused around relatively low order-efficiency units, but the mobile brigada have some of my favorite models.
Nolan Roberts
How do we fix DHD and WHD?
Hudson Cooper
Depends on what you define as normal. If Kriza Borac picks up an HMG from the Panoplies in Looting and Sabotaging missions, he can apply Twin Weapon Rule Along with Full Auto to get 6 dice.
But the answer you are looking for is probably 5.
Brayden Thomas
To note, he has to roll a 20 on the Booty table.
Gabriel Gomez
negative. Full auto doesn't stack with other burst modifiers unless they explicitly state so.
Julian Young
just got 5 kaplan for free, and I wonder what to do with them. I have a haqqislam beyond set, so I could try them in a kapu khalaki, but am not sure how good it is. Or maybe I should run them as proxies, my main army is alpeh. so I thought maybe run them as kamau?
Leo Reed
Kaplan are good, they're a fireteam with mimetism. They're particularly good in the Hunting Party mission, try playing that with Qapu Khalqi and have fun!
Ethan Powell
Kaplans are pretty good core team, even if you can't mix them with Hafzas anymore.
Luis Howard
There was a snipershot that looked like the back of KISS's head, but it was probably the new Charontid.
Ethan Peterson
ok. I never played haqqislam of any sort. only NCE and vanila panocania. Am not sure if any of the stuff from red veil is good for Kapu Qalaki.
Henry Powell
Brigadier Bruant
James Jones
Ghulams are the only think in Red Veil or Beyond Red veil that work for QK. So if you're interested in doing just them you can just buy the Haqq starter.
Tyler Gray
This is the ideal Corregidor list. You may not like it, but this is what peak order efficiency looks like KwBgTAPgzCIQkgOwGYENEBcBOBPABAJYDOeyA9lngMKpECuqANkRABwCkALJ8OwIwA2MBwCEHbr0HD2Yrj35CA7DPHypykcu6cFYXiL5coHPsFbKAAlaA===
Dominic Evans
This is the ideal Bakunin List. You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like.
Nathan Jones
>Morlock has DA instead of E/M CCW. Lame list.
Hunter Murphy
Ghulams is your only QK option from RV. But if you're fine with a lil'bit of proxying the you can use the Fasid as HMG Azrail, their difference is not much anyway.
Noah Gonzalez
Okay /infgen/, give me your craziest ideas for Varuna and Svarhaleima sectorials
Daniel Brown
Due to the Combined Army invasion, the Svalarheima sectorial is in fact a combined PanO/Yu Jing planetary defense force. It will have Shaolin/Hospitaler duos.
Jacob Martin
Make them repeaters.
John Collins
ORCA HI for Varuna 6-2 MOV assault unit.
Zachary Jenkins
Give them unique support programs
That's not that good, seeing both are really an option in factions with very weak hacking in general.
Jose Perry
Brigada are pretty order efficient, they're just expensive as fuck.
The first thing is thd MB link, of course. HMG is mandatory, everything else can be switched around. Shotgun is cheap filler, multi rifle is close range killer, ML is ARO turret, tinbot allows you to get in close without worrying about getting hacked, and hacker is a versatile specialist. Personally I like HMG+hacker+tinbot+BSG+BSG, though sometimes I switch out a shotty for a missile launcher or multi rifle.
Then there's the specialists. MB hacker can sort of act as one, but you'll want others as well. Your main dudes are Tomcat doc/engi (useful both for pushing buttons and fixing up your link when they get disabled or shot, don't provide an order first turn), Moran FO (infiltrators highly effective at locking down the board with repeater and crazykoalas), Stempler (doesn't infiltrate or air drop but has highly valuable sensor to cheaply deal with camo, especially if followed up by flamethrowers or crazykoalas), and Bandits (versatile infiltrator, KHD is most popular but other specialist profiles are okay too, doesn't provide a regular order so if you take this guy you gotta use him, and more than one isn't recommended). Hellcat is also okay (can air drop in the middle of the board rather than just the side, but otherwise a worse Tomcat as far as specialists go). 3-4 of these guys is good, in order of priority I suggest a Stempler, Moran, Tomcat and Bandit.
After that there's the orders. I like to put in some CR Jaguars for the smoke, but Transductors are also great since they're extra cheap and can extend the range of hackers and sensors. Alguaciles can be backup specialists, but that isn't quite the unique utility of the other two.
Robert Morales
Helot engineers in Varuna. They're highly mobile and effective, but also WIP12
Landon Harris
This is the ideal Caledonian list. You may not like it, but this is what peak order efficiency looks like MwBgTAPqIQPGIAEB5ATgEwKasQGwJYDOALoYgIaqaIBmA9jgMbmECu5uhEAjAKRgA2AJy8hwMLwCEfQSLETp/YaPFSZy+WqVzVi2SoXqdh7Qa37NejaoACRs1ePnrJi7vuWP7055/e3fDYiYADsIaIhIFLBYRFRkjHhQpHR/LHJ8YlxUgAsaRJCAKx8koVpwKKFZaXl/AAcAvHceWB1BW28NkA==
Joseph Morales
So a straight upgrade from Machinists.
Benjamin Long
Yeah, but in the same way Hospitallers are a straight upgrade over Trauma Docs and Kamau are a straight upgrade over Fusis.
Tyler Jackson
>it's not England Still Won Shit taste desu.
Caleb Russell
I like the one rifle.
Brayden Thomas
Make them access all other hacking devices as sort of a reserve repeater.
Lincoln Perez
Plus reverse hack is pretty funny.
Anthony Clark
I think it's more amusing to stack massive negative mods... Like Kaleidoscope + Tinbot + Sucker punch for like -9.
Gabriel Clark
If only their TAGs had a lieutenant option.
Ian Cooper
Coordinated Orders are fucking godlike.
Mason Hughes
Stealing from my friend "Look Ivan"
Ryan Turner
yes.
give them DA assault machetes and CQB oriented loadouts
