Post good feelings you get as a Game Master

>Player asking lots of details about the world before you begin to make her character
>Player telling you she had a good time this session
> Players do more than just hit things
>Player dresses up as her character for a session and for the after-session

>Players resolved a puzzle in a creative way that I did not see coming.
>Players that are more than ready to risk their lifes to save a NPC.
>Players that are more than ready to risk their lifes to save another player.

Does she call you master in the bedroom, too?

>Players risking their own life to save an npc/other player.

You mean their CHARACTER's life right??

>Players responding to answers about worldbuilding questions with "oooh, I like that"
>Players not being overcautious and engaging with the world in meaningful ways.
>Players leaving more excited than when they came in.

>He doesn't use Russian Roulette instead of dice

>He saves his friend from being mugged on his way to the game.

Not him but, I met my girlfriend through RPGs and I'm a forever DM. And she does.

>Players telling you midweek that they have plans for the weekend session
>Players saying they can't wait
>"Ha, that's clever." When you explain the reason behind something in the setting.

Life is cozy.

To counter this

>Feeling like I'm annoying the GM by asking for details
>constantly concerned my character premise will ruin GM's plans etc..

I'm so anxious about this shit, and I've never once had a GM really appreciate it openly. If they did, they kept it to themselves.

>the "a-ha!" face they make when they figure out the twist that I've been foreshadowing
>When they start theory crafting about what's going on during the game
>when they genuinely seem engaged and interested about what's happening next

I never thought of this before, but should you call a female DM Dungeon Mistress?

Hell Yes.

>Player says "Do you remember [thing] in user's game?"
>Other players chime in with how much they liked it
>Excitedly explain to any person who wasn't there what happened
>mfw

I found out the other day my old group (I moved away) still talk about a campaign I ran nearly 10 years ago, and tell their new members all about it. Never felt so warm and fuzzy in my life.

You call her whatever she tells you to.

>One of the players you initiated on TTRPG gets interested on GMing
>He ask you for guidance

I'll be honest I never really enjoy DMing unless I've put way more effort into the game than what is necessary for my players to have fun and I rarely have the time for that

>Players text you between games asking about world details, or about how much the are psyched for next session!
>Players know the rules, but don't call you out of your rule zeroing, or when you fuck up a rule till after the game.

>never have anything in this thread happen
>feelsbadman.jpeg

>tfw am player and do all of these to the GMs
I-Its not like I like your rpg's or something.

>Newer players starting to be IC more
>Players coming up with some wild tangent that is nowhere close to what I had thought but is now
>Players learning they can do more than just "I attack" or "I cast"
>Players describing what their character does or rp out how they try to talk to an NPC
Player makes a character that hits all the right fetishes and she fucking realizes it.

>Players that are more than ready to risk their lives to save another player.

Makes for a good story. Especially if your character damn near/ does die in the process.

>Playing DH, as techpreist initiate with no augmentation, can't even speak mechanical cant (cogboy speak). Running from a APC, fail check and get legs pinned. Gaurdbro pulls cogboy free.(sadly the campaign ended after that session).

Players sharing stories of your game is the best feel.
