I listened user. My first crypto purchase. Sad that I started buying other coins, should have strictly kept accumulating my link. That said, I’ve turned £500 into £3k in a month which I’m happy with. Thinking of going all in on Link like my original plan.

I think I am in a predicament here. By February when I need to pay my taxes, link will have made me thousands of capital gains. I will need to pay taxes on those gains but since I am a moneyless NEET I won't be able to pay them. I might have to sell some link in order to not get arrested. Ether that or I could go to jail and let my links sit for a few years and be rich by the time I get out.

Every trade comes in twos, the buy then the sell. If you buy but haven't yet sold then you havent completed the trade and don't have to pay any taxes on it. As this user said they are unrealised gains.
