Quiting MtG. Going to finish my Cube, then never buy cards again, at least that's the hope.
Ask the quiet players their opinion more often, along with casual compliments.
Stuff like "You know these forests best, what do you think?" or "I think we can trust your instincts, which way do you think we should go?" I want these sort of things to be the first thing I consider when making a decision that concerns the group.
I want to focus less on trying to make myself a better player, and to do what I can to help the other players feel more confident and involved.
I was talked into running my groups next campaign, so my resolution was to get better at DMing
Finally start that youtube channel i've been sitting on for years. Dropped €500 on equipment in 2015 and i've done nothing.
You are good people.
My resolution is to finish my Kingdom Hearts Tri-Stat system that I promised would be done by the end of November. I would say that I can't find the time to work on it between a full-time career and caring for my 5 month old son, but I'll be honest with myself and say I've been lazy.
Some good advice is to use sites like Veeky Forums less. These places are just time sinks.
DM at the very least a oneshot for the group. Unconfident and nervous about taking over a session to do something unrelated, but since I joined this group I've been thinking about it.
Play an actual game
Try to actually surprise my players and get them excited for my game. Usually they have fun (so they say) but I feel as though my stuff is too formulaic, and predictable. I need to mix it up a little.
Convert all my GURPS PDFs to HTML format
Kill my fucking players.
Damn dude, if I didn't already have 3 and a half solid players, I'd offer you a seat.
Stop visiting generals I know are nothing but shitposting and actually mean it
DM at least 10 sessions.
Write 10 adventures.
Start writing a zine.
Get a job at a game publisher.
>3 and a half
Is one of your players a midget?
One of my players is flakey and only shows up half the time.
>and actually mean it
Ha.
>Paint my fucking models
>Build my fucking models
>Cut down on projects
>Actually finish something
>Get a good community going.
This is the endgame really, just updating your cube.
Feels good man.
I want to draw character art more
I know that feeling.
To play kd on a regular basis, I just kinda got in a rut after moving last month.
Find reason to live that isn't RPGs.
what like videogames?
yeah probably. or writing.
Run a game for my friends.
> Start that damn novel, maybe even finish it too.
And then self-publish. Probably on Amazon for free, because I honestly don't care about making money from it. That'd make it Work, and that'd suck the fun out of it.
And once the first novel is done, I can write the rest of the series.
> Run some of these games I want to run.
Before I forget them.
So, you have three players, and one useless twat that should have been ejected at the third absence.
Find a meatspace group that's local.
I'm tired of my trash internet preventing me from playing with my old friends from across the country. Every time we try to start a new game, I pull out because I start getting a 35 second lag on Discord and I don't want to bring the others down.
I'm just tired of it all
Stop worrying about my players' silent opinions and just GM however I want until somebody says something.
It might not work out.
Getting my 'Aliens in disguise' IG force finally finished.
Getting my 'Scum, cults and gangs' IG force mostly finished as I wait for more Necromunda releases all the while on ebay seeing how many classic Necrmunda minis I can get.
Getting my 'Paradise world' IG force finally finished. Hopefully before GW gets rid of the Witch Elves and thus, my main source of female bikini bodies.
And finally, if there is any truth behind the SoB rumours at all, then all of the above will be put aside as I send myself broke getting back to the army that brought me into this hobby.
