I know, but it's been bugging me. They always flip-flop between generic weeb archetypes and lengthy worldbuilding expositions. I don't really mind the former, but in this particular CYOA it gets to the point where some characters have the same basic personality, since there's only so many archetypes Italics can use. And this happens multiple times, too! I just don't get why it's so popular.

But I do. I just don't like making them the meat of my CYOA.
