They do things like this in synergy heavy sets. Theres also a bunch of situational removal floating around, Im surprised there is an actual "destroy target creature" in this set with all the burn, discard and -x/-x.

The problem emerges from the idea that depicting violence against women also means condoning violence against women. If we use that logic then that means it’s okay to condone violence against men. Instead people should see that it’s simply part of the setting surrounding the game, and remember these depictions of violence in that context.

Violence against women as a taboo is a societal norm that has existed for decades.

Duh. Women can't operate in society unless we let them apply their double standard where women are always right and men are always wrong. News flash, they've always been that way; all wives are like that; only now they're out of the kitchen and talking very loudly about it at work because it turns out the set of skills needed to get a promotion doesn't gel well with women's egos since it involves plenty of compromise and listening to higher ups. So they turn to a new avenue to adapt to these new challenges: create a narrative where challenging women becomes so sexist and so frowned upon by society that it'll get you fired from your job. This stratagem gels well with women as they are intrinsically neurotic, paranoid matriarchs- that's what makes them good mothers. In this day and age, screaming is what gets the job done and wives and mothers are nothing if not the champions of screaming until things go their way. So here we are in this wonderful utopia where the media is restricted in what it is allowed to portray and what it isn't.
