Certainly not the piece of shit you posted in the OP
Robert Johnson

You already listed the Nebulon-Bae

The Assault Frigate Mk. 1 is criminally underrated.

So vibroblades vibrate? Can they be used for stimulation?

Best Jedi passing through.

How I would have done the new Trilogy or at least Episode 7 while using the same basic story/characters we did get.
> E7 opens with Kylo massacring Luke's Jedi Temple while Luke is off planet, no Knights of Ren, just Kylo alone as a true Vader style avatar of death. > Rey is a student of Lukes who Kylo is unable to locate during the massacre. > Rey was found by Storm trooper Finn who refuses to kill her & instead helps her escape the burning temple alive. Rest of the film is... > Rey/Finn on the run from Kylo as a major subplot. > Main plot is Luke & Han trying to find Ben who wasn't among the pile of his student's bodies. Luke believes the massacre may be Ben's handiwork but Han refuses to entertain the notion. > Flashbacks from Rey/Luke of training alongside Ben. Flashbacks from Han showing the New Republic that was built after the original trilogy, him & Leia petitioning the senate of the New Republic to take the First Order as a serious threat & Leia being ostracized for it. > Last Act - Luke discovering that his sister was right about the First Order building a galaxy threat sized imperial fleet (no starkiller) while rescuing the captured Rey/Finn. Han confronting the masked Kylo as we got in TFA, demanding he face his father like a man. Same result. Luke & Kylo have a extended duel ends in a stalemate. > Ends with Luke coming to Leia to break the truth to her about her son, what he did to Han and the fact that she was right about the First Order.
THAT is how you have iconic characters beloved in all of fiction fail, ACTUALLY FUCKING SHOW US what they accomplished & let us see their fall from that. Don't skip that shit and have them end up being sarcastic assholes hiding in a cave.

What Knights of Ren?
Jordan Price
not canon

It doesn't even need to be said, but it is true.

So just from an aesthetic stand point how would you guys redesign the vong?
Juan Turner
Disney Mandos > Legend Mandos
Brody Jackson
Amazing, everything in that post was absolutely wrong
Xavier Wright
I wouldn't. It's the only saving grace of nu canon, the vongs don't exist.
James Myers
More 'organic and mysterious' and less 'PAIN, EDGY EDGY PAIN, SNAKE WHIPS WHICH ARE IMPERVIOUS TO LIGHTSABERS, NO FORCE SIGNATUUUUUUUUUURE'
Carter Taylor
I'm looking to salvage, not discard, so your post is unhelpful, also the nonexistence of lesser works does not mitigate the removal of superior works
Gabriel Morgan
>Disney Mandos Interesting dynamic between the New Mandalorians, and the old warrior guard. Has jetpacks, blasters and cute girls. >Legend Mandos Mary Sue culture of Jedi killers, no jetpacks, no qts, shit blasters.
Jason Bailey
>Mary Sue culture of Jedi killers, no jetpacks, no qts, shit blasters. Knowing about memes =/= knowing about everything else
Brandon Phillips
I feel like alot of that can be accomplished by having face covering armor, having them only speak theit native tongue on most occasions without a precise translator, and frequently showing them doing strange rituals that are hard to pin down the use of before combat encounters. Maybe relegate scarification to the warriors and shapers.
Brody Russell
It's actually kind of weird in that they technically DO exist, as LucasFilm considers all the unproduced episodes of TCW as canon despite the fact that they'll never be finished or see the light of day.
One of the arcs that they were working on pre-production for, basically just the story concept and a few pieces of concept art exist for it, was a Vong arc that was styled kind of like the X-Files, alien abduction and weirdness.
They wouldn't have had the immunity to the Force their Legends counterparts had, and a few of their more... egregious aspects would have been toned down. But they're technically still there.
Carter Cruz
>no qts Boy.
Grayson Nelson
Bending being an aspect of the force yay or nay?
Jack Bennett
So less scars and pain and maybe more badass war tattoos? Sounds like the best way to tone it back to sindication, granted I'd have given them a strange connection to the force, something pinned to their organic super computers heavily as a booster maybe
Caleb Stewart
Do Alliance personnel get leave?
Henry Robinson
A piece of dog shit > Mandos
Joshua Ramirez
Luke seemed pretty free to come and go as he pleased
Lucas Hernandez
>if you call them memes its not true
Image related, they have no qts
Aaron Kelly
I wouldn't. The Vong have no place in Star Wars.
Nolan Murphy
Nay. The metaphysics are all different my man. That said there was already some minor force user group whose thing was a heavy elemental focus if you just wanted the powers, but hell if I remember their names.
Ethan Gomez
I don't think we really have an indication of what they would have changed about the way they looked. Only concept art I know of that they released is pic related.
Lucas Lewis
I'd have gone with biped still but not strictly humanoid either
Xavier Thomas
Come up with careers/specializations for these furballs.
Julian Myers
Doesn't look offensively spiky, he looks kinda like an armored up nosferatu
Brayden Sanders
Sabatours, scouts, snipers, guerillas
Christopher Hernandez

More HR Geiger. Make them mildly horrific, life but different from what we know it, yet familiar enough to be creepy. Less edgy, more creepy.
Jaxon Carter
I'm rereading Vector Prime, and aside from the murderdeathkill god Yomin Carr has, all the narration about his masquer is described with a large amount of creepiness.
Brayden Nelson
That image is pretty nice. Whoever was the artist, props.
I want kotor3.
That really depends.
All four elements are supposedly force manipulation - push, pull, wave, whatnot.
An adept force user could do some of the bending, but certainly not on avatar levels. Blood bending for example is just plain silly, along with the fire is the doorway to lightning meme.
In theory, it would require sense to find the element around you, then control And alter to perform.
Moderate element manipulation yes, really crazy levels of Avatar... maybe Galen Marek, but even then, there are better ways to utilize the force.
Arguably, sith magic could open the door to more complex bending, but we all know how that would end.
I somewhat, reluctantly agree with . The Vong, as they are finalized in EU/Legends, is just wrong.
I'm running a d6 campaign, and suggests what I did. Threw out the "PAIN AND EDGE" and rolled with the organic technology. Harder to detect, bit more resistant to the force...
Yuuzhan Volus? Elcor?
In geigeresque looks, what would be the most prominent feature of a vong male?
Nolan Sullivan
Stop posting this, he still exists, you Alpha-class autist.
Brody Reyes
Make them orkier. SW is after all a fairy tale in space. Geiger shit doesn't really suit it.
Christian Gray
Every MC75 fleet I build ends up having Blockade Run.
I'm scared.
Tyler Myers
Shapers of Kro Var. They only exist because of the Jedi Academy Training Manual for Saga Edition. They're also a dark side tradition, so there's that for/against them as well.
Wyatt Hall
Make them just cannon fodder/foot soldier to an Dark Empire of Sith, Dark Jedi and Rakata.
Jaxson Campbell
>t. Worst Order
Evan Johnson
>How would you aesthetically redesign the Vong? >Gives story redesign
Cameron Watson
Would they even have distinct sexes? Would they even breed naturally? For all we know they would use organic birthing factories to breed. We are afterall taking the basic concept and rebuilding it.
I see pic related as a good visual starting point [even if the movie was trash], just replace the metal with chitin and the gun with some sort of beetle that fires organic plasma
John Hill
Suicide bombers
Caleb Sanchez
Kotor has got me thinking, would there still be Mandalorian made weapons during the late Republic/Galactic Empire era?
Tyler Richardson
MandalMotors made whole starships
Austin Powell
Speaking of shapers I got a question from a player in my game, do all vong tech organizms, share their masters absence from the force or is that just the vong themselves, one is a dark side wanting to use sith alchemy to turn an ampistaff into a cybernetic lightsaber
Chase Taylor
>Using a modified ampistaff as a saber hilt and taking advantage of the fact that it is Force-inert to prevent opposing Force users from ever disarming him
He can't saber-throw, but his weapon can't be manipulated by the Force and his attacks are harder to read for enemy Force-sensitives
Colton Bailey
I believe they share it. Their big thing was that the Jedi couldn't feel the Vong in the Force at all, like there was a complete absence where they should be. I don't see why this wouldn't extend to their biotech stuff.
Adam Rogers
Every day.
Aaron Gomez
That's fair, they would otherwise sense their biotechnology all the damn time, though it makes the creation of the voxyn stranger still
Camden Phillips
>Jedi killers good >no jetpacks good >no qts good
Not mandalorians need to be Boba fett and not all races and cultures need to be waifubait
Xavier Long

Kevin Taylor
Crusader-Era Mandalorians best mandalorians. Everything else is pure shit
Andrew Wood
but they didn't make any small arms, blasters and what not?
Landon Adams
>can't catch up to old ass Rebel cruisers, or even fight off a single X-Wing.
Michael Anderson
Going by the TV shows there seem to be blaster pistols and rifles that are unique to the Mandalorians. I'm not sure they're manufactured by them though
Sebastian Thompson
So Armada has objectives, and now Legion is going to have objectives, do you think they'll ever do an expansion that adds objectives to X-wing or do you think they're unwilling to shake it up since it's been how it is for too long?
Isaiah Ramirez
Anyone have any interesting Twi'lek art that isn't shit or lewd cringe?
Preferably no force-users, but if it's really nice, post it just for that.
Brandon Kelly
Objectively the worst mandolorians and ended on the wrong side of a genocide for their troubles

I got a few. Most of them are pilots, weirdly.

Elijah Cruz
Oh god, the Imperials have the Triforce.
Or they're backed by the Hojo clan
Ryder Bailey
In the sense of like an official military? No. But it's a volunteer force so you can probably just be like "Hey I got a fire to put out on Canto Bight" and nobody cares. Assuming you can get off Hoth, that is.
Robert Reed

Daniel Harris
That's the (no longer canon, I believe) Kuat Drive Yards logo.

Guess I'll just say its a heavy blaster pistol and picture it in a Mandalorian make
Evan Fisher
All tail-heads are strippers or slaves Any art depicting otherwise is nothing but fanfiction lies
Adrian Gray
Obligatory.
Jonathan Williams
It's weird. Everything looks like a jedi, sith, stripper, or pilot, and 90% or more of twi'lek art seems to be female.
Caleb Perez
...
Logan Thompson
...
Kevin Nguyen
These are what I'm talking about. In all the Clone Wars and Rebels appearances all the mandos carry these same boxy-looking rifles and pistols. They had a distinct sound effect and almost always had yellow blaster bolts
Nicholas Gutierrez
I mean, that's kind of the whole point. They're the Empire 2.0 because they were ordered to be, they're the most fanatical Imperial remnant leaders given direct orders from Palpatine to start a new Empire in the Unknown Regions.
