Yeah, I got ambushed by an assassin on an airship, stabbed in the heart and nearly decapitated. My bitching the guy out about being a failure at killing one silly spellcaster bought the others enough time to smack him down, remove the dagger from my chest, and reattach my head.

Been running this game for almost a year. The party has been all over the wastes of Europe and in parts of north Africa. I think the reason that this is the case, is that soundtrack is more easily connected to emotions and situations since it's used inside a context. Even if the song does invoke certain feelings and images, a soundtrack is combined with images, sounds, characters and speech, making for a much more strong combination to a strong frame of reference.

But he got a weird +1 greatsword recently and he has this psychosis where he tries to be like things he admires, and this old god is whispering sweet nothings to him from the sword and he's starting to admire it...
Basically he's going oathbreaker and dabbling into necrotic plague stuff, reanimating the dead to have his own army. He pretty much acts the same as before, but replace his joy of palor with the joy of a rotten dark god, where he'll be more than happy to heal the party but also might turn them all by mistake.
