Hmm... I feel like this one should be called the Sword of Eating and Starvation, or something.

Not a single attempt at a story from all of you guys. I'm disappointed in you all. Closest thing is this guy

Anyone have more pics like these, that show a whole slew of curios?

Book elves.

Why did it have to be book elves?

Let me guess, that contains the spirit of a demon king.

Blood stones, a magical item created by a renowned vampire alchemist. Dreaming of being able to sustain oneself without hurting the mortals they ruled over, the alchemist created a magical stone that would slowly drain excess life energy from the mortals who carried them. This energy could then be consumed at a later date to sustain the vampire, instead of feeding the traditional way, making it a safer alternative.

The ruling Vampire courts heard of this invention and used them to great extent, unfortunately a defect was discovered, where the energy inside the stone could be saved, then consumed all at once, resulting in a boost of vampiric power for a short period of time, some even gaining immunity to some vampiric weaknesses for said time.

Thus began the the Red year, a period of war between rival covens to obtain as many blood stones as possible in order to gain power over one another and their mortal populaces.

The Alchemist, horrified at what they created, ended their life by walking into the sun, taking the secret of stones creation with them.

Now, without new stones to be made to replace ones that break from misuse and the losses from the Red year, vampires have gone into hiding, as the mortal populaces rise up to hunt down the last of their oppressors and bring an end to their cruel vampire masters.

>Valen's Spellshot
An intricate (and temperamental) device, the Spellshot is a handheld device similar to a pistol [or bowless hand crossbow, if pistols aren't setting-appropriate], with a large gem set near the grip. When fully charged, a Spellshot does as the name suggests - namely, it 'shoots' whatever spell has been 'set' into the gem at a range, causing it to discharge wherever it lands (provided it lands on, or at least close enough to, a valid target for the spell). The Spellshot has effectively unlimited ammunition; however, it takes anywhere from a few seconds to several minutes to recharge between shots, and can sometimes misfire if used too often at one go.
Most lower-ranked spells can be 'set' into the gem - a process that takes as little as a half-hour depending on the power of the spell - and particularly fancy models of Spellshots might even be slotted to have interchangeable gemstones. Of course, all such tinkerish trinkets are hardly cheap, and the more complicated, the more instable the end-product might be...

>Mad Malar's Timepiece
The Perfect Watch, oh yes, yes it is. Never loses a second, never skips a gear, never slips a spring, never ever ever needs winding.
Never, ever, ever wind it.
Mad Malar knew all about watches. All about gears. All about how every little thing fit together, so fine, so neat, so pristine, so perfect.
Everything fits so perfect. Ever so perfect.
Much too perfect.
Mad Malar began to see, he did. Began to notice. Began to know.
He saw where the gaps were. Where the pieces did not fit. Where the edges did not align.
But Mad Malar knew what to do, oh yes.
He would show them.
He would show everyone.
He would fix it all, put it all together, put it all right.
He knew how it all should go.
His Watch would show him.

I miss Darksiders. Hopefully D3 won't suck.

>when in combat open up your nipple hatches and command them to attack
>a good DM would give your bees a surprise attack advantage roll if fighting an enemy who hasn't witnessed the power of the Breastplate of the Queen Bee
