what is the value of a coin? is compared to the price of creating a tangle?

I understand colored tangles, but, why temporary tangles? steam or starbucks wont want to merge their tangle everynight, and they wont be arsed to ramson some money to create a tangle when they can use other coins.

What happens with the PoC, they main selling point of burst? If I get it right the transactions in the tangle are PoW (PoC is imposible in an embedded device) who the hell this works?
