I barely managed to put everything into 2k points. Nurgle is kinda expensive, with plaguebearers costing to much to take instead of Nurglings. On the other hand, i wanted two Battalions, and i wanted Nurgle Strats for D3 heal on Morty as well as Tzeentch Herald for casting Warp Gaze.
Interestingly enough, you can just take Chaos Daemons without committing for specific god if you don't care on using specific Strategems. So you could just take two Heralds from different gods for their spells and then take whatever units you like the most and see get Deepstrike Strategem.

Guy from last thread wanting to start either Blood Angles/Deathwatch/Space wolves here.
Decided I want to do blood angles, specifically the successor chapter the Flesh Tearers because I like the face their leader has a MASSIVE chainsword and the RIP&TEAR aspect of them, where should I start wit them? Is the start collecting box good value for them?
Was looking through some old boxes and found the chaos half of the old dark vengeance box.
What should I do with these? I wouldn’t mind building out a chaos list, but the old models really don’t appeal to me and I haven’t heard good things about vanilla chaos marines.
I know doing anything with chaos is already dealing with the worst of the 40k community, but I have the models here and want to put them to actual tabletop use.

My dudes are the same as GW's dudes, but with actual acknowledgement of story progression. Yeah they're just plain ol', green ol' Cadian Shock, but with small bits of black on the uniform, and "CADIA STANDS" on every single tank and standard.

You could get 3 start collecting boxes for the price of 2 booster boxes. That's 3 vehicles, 30 troops and 3 HQ or Elite for most armies.

most armies don't work like that - all you need is a Guard detachment, for example, to unlock all guard strategems. If you have a vostroyan unit in your mixed guard detachment, you can still use their strategem, even if you don't have a pure vostroyan detachment

My SS sent me some Dark + Eldar stuff and some Primaris + Guard, so I'm trying to decide between the themes

What if Custodes Stratagems worked like Auras? Something like that would be great for Elite armies, like you have 3 Stratagems per generic HQ and each one affects units within 6" of that character.

I think there might be a pattern here, guys.
Slaanesh is really solid, Noise Marines are one of the premier units in a very strong Codex. Not sure on the Daemons aspect, but they might come out with some good stuff - need to see the Codex in full to make any kind of judgment.
Indices are a thing insomuch as you can use them if there's no version of a given Datasheet published since - for example, Lords on Steeds or Bikes.
Does the ability to format your list properly go hand in hand with the ability to actually make a list and not have to ask for advice on here?
Why would you want IG crusaders over SoB Crusaders? They don't get a bonus for regiment and if you don't get codex or CA strategems unless you have a more specific detachment than Imperium.
