there are a couple of cyoas I remember that I have been looking for.

1) you can pick as many options as you want. Each is a power, but you sustain and grow your power with consistent effort. eg maybe you have to exercise every day. I think the premise is that you find a book in detailing the techniques, or something.

2) you pick a role in a fairytale, and become that character. You also pick a character to work for (or against or something). I think the premise is that you find a book and get sucked in, or something.

In the Fate world, there's a thing called a Holy Grail War where historical and mythological fighters are arranged into seven(ish) classes, one of which is called Saber.
One 'servant', a representation of King Arthur Pendragon (who was secretly a girl the whole time), was one of the first Sabers - and has a shitton more iterations (the one linked was a hypothetical version where she matured longer and used a lance instead of Excalibur) either as alternate versions of Arthur or other characters with similar physical characteristics (Nero, Jeanne d'Arc)

It's also called Nasuverse; it's big and complicated and not really something you should take lightly.
