So I found out Infinity recasting is a thing. Got a limited edition crane agent for like seven bucks and it's actually pretty damn good, but a couple other models I got were ridiculously shrunken which is weird because the crane agent is the same size as my spitfire crane.

Buy recasts only if you are buying OOP miniatures. CB isn't GW, it's a small company and they have always been customer friendly with their prices. If you wish to continue playing the game, support the company that produces it

I only used it to buy OOP stuff, get madtraps without spending $30, or hoping bizarre resizing issue so I don't end up with oversized S1 models. I've also already spent fuckloads of money on Infinity and will probably continue to do so. Calm down Carlos.

Im the first one to buy from them and told everyone they are unfortunately recasters. Unless you buy in bulk, theres literally no reason to order from them if you live in the us because of the shipping cost.

What are we considering big and small pieces?

I'm finally familiar with my local makers space laser cutter that I'm starting to make other people's files, but I want to start designing my own terrain. Unfortunately, in addition to having no design experience whatsoever (not that bad a thing), I'm having trouble understanding scale (the worst part).

For example: say I want to design a board layout in SketchUp. I can go with a 4x4 square and work from there, or I can try and scale up to real proportions. But I have no idea where the hell to start or how. =/ 28mm being arbitrary these days doesn't help either. I'm at both a technical skill and knowledge loss.

It's actually not really that cheap so there's no point in ordering from them. CB drones are 25e and this is 18e, which doesn't make much of a difference, when you factor in worse quality.

I got back into painting, this is my first finished model.

/aco/ would be a safer bet. Infinity may be heavily inspired by (mostly 80s) manga, but it's still distinctly European. And I don't know about /h/ specifically but some of those anime boards can be pretty autistic about anime styled western art.

I imagine you were going for some wizard eyes glowing thing because she's a hacker, but it's not quite working. Either try to put in pupils, or for the next time doe a sideways line of black before doing a sideways line of white for the eyes, so that they pop out more. Or just leave the eyes dark if you don't want to go through the nonsense of paining tiny eyes. Otherwise rather like the scheme you've got going for the interventor. It's effective.

I think they mislabeled one knight, the weapon looks a bit more like Boarding Shotgun than Combi... I really wish they weren't so similar.

The Medkit Hospitaller and CCW are really cool sculpts. That's definitely a combi though, the shotgun doesn't have a magazine that curves inwards following the handguard like that.

The issue is that they can put them on models that have 2 wounds, like Nikouls.

Frogmen from Varuna. PanO employs them in construction.

Sapient alien species from Varuna. Whether they're considered real people or not tends to change based on what is more convenient for PanO, and they're frequently used for manual labour in what certainly isn't slavery.

They'll probably show up in the Varuna sectorial.
