Race: Minotaur Class Fighter battle master 7 / Ranger beast master 3 Background: Sailor Key Points: Fights with a two hander atop his dire wolf, sort of leader of a village and captain of a ship
Race: Half-Elf Class: Spellblade Backround: Soldier Keypoints: A Wizard that basically has 'Elemental Weapon' as a class feature.
William Young
Sadly you have a JRPG fanatic as the only other poster, A Minotaur fighter/ranger, I'm thinking Battle at Big Bridge, a guardian of it, akin to an endgame boss of sorts. youtube.com/watch?v=adc4yPNG4Lg
Race: Half-Orc Class: Paladin (Oath of Vengance) Background: Knight of the Order Key Points: rides a lion, wields a lance called "justice", is well known in taverns, brothels, and fighting pits around the land
CV has that 'Smite all evil' vibe, You're well known, have a holy weapon and are a knight of some faction/blood line youtube.com/watch?v=KPXjixmyOK4
Jose Baker
Race: Mage (CofD) Class: Space focused Mastigos (portals and scying and spatial warping and shit). Background: Semi-professional thief. Key Points: Mysterium, hot head, wants to learn about cracks in the fabric of reality (and how to move through them).
Sorry I don't have much in the way of helping others. If people have more lighthearted more whimsical PC's I might have some stuff. I have 2 characters.
1. Human Paladin/Archfiend Warlock. NG, Slave background, and is pretty dumb but dependable.
2. Dwarf (not sure what class yet). Background as a tavern owner, but he's now all washed up and depressed.
Dno about weeb stuff, doesn't really hit home with me apart from stuff like c.c.c.c. and disclose. I was listening a lot of einsturzende neubauten when that campaign started. youtube.com/watch?v=odKf7_sA5HQ
Jaxon Johnson
Interesting music choice, I can see where you got your character ideas from. That's actually pretty rad.
Xavier Lee
Holy FUCK user this is PERFECT, thank you so much
Justin Hill
Race: Goblin Class: Bard - College of Satire Background: Entertainer Key Points: Self proclaimed misunderstood genius and inventor of insult comedy. Frequently attracts pitchfork and torch mobs. The rest of the party use him as a distraction, and occasionally as an improvised projektile weapon.
Race: Human Class: Ranger- Horizon walker Background: Haunted One Key points: Drug addiction, Has a necklace with about 13 different holy symbols as to defend himself from unholy creatures, doesn't actually really follow any religions and just hopes they work. Doesn't like to take money for jobs.
Despair and depression, haunted one back round? something gothic sounding
Carter Anderson
I love it
Thomas Moore
Race: Warforged (more of a living suit of armor) Class: Fighter- Battlemaster Background: Was created about a month before the adventure started Key points: Is nigh indestructible (23 ac naturally) Doesn't like to hurt people, Likes to read, but very naive.
James Thompson
Race: Human SURGE (half-lizard) Class: Street Samurai Background: Social outcast Key points: Social tard with a massive anger problems, Wudang tryhard.
In case it wasn't obvious, she's a Shadowrun character.
Kevin Hall
Mutants and Masterminds character:
Blind Geomancer (In the environmental magic sense rather than earth magic) with a 'Geography and History' theme. Uses her magic to allow her to 'see' but knows no offensive spells so she mostly beats people with her staff.
Key Points: Good hearted but more than willing to abuse the fact she's blind to get people to do stuff for her or understimate her. Parents are archaeologists who found her staff in some ruins. Wants to make a big archological find of her own and follow in her parents footsteps.
Brandon James
youtube.com/watch?v=kLTbBnBS3gE Something Heroic, but not daunting and over bearing, with a dwarven vibe to show off your roots?
Race: Human Class: rouge Background: outlander/tribal Key points: Good hearted and willing to help those who need it, tries to gain as much money as she can to both become rich and send money back to her tribe. insists on fighting in the frontline despite her thin stature and being better suited to staying back. A serial romantic, always looking for a soulmate. fights vampires
Elven Artificer and gunsmith. Trying to make progress, melding traditional elven metalworking and magic with modern engineering. Really proud of her work with new golem designs (That are closer to magically powered robots than the old sort, since that gives them a lot more mobility than just trying to force metal to move without joints.)
Race: Orc Class: Druid (Circle of Spores) with 1 level in Fighter Background: Hermit Key Points: Wields a Greataxe. Feels he's getting too old for this shit.
Isaac Brooks
Race: Human Class: Warlock 5 Paladin 3 Key points: Redneck, tried rebelling against his king then sold his soul to not save his own life, now serves a God of Retribution to try exact vengeance and redeem himself
Race: Human Class: Wizard - Necromancer Background: Noble Key points: A frail, sickly noble. Avoids direct physical confrontation at all cost. Does not really want to hurt anyone if possible.
Jaxon Long
race: undead human class: rouge background: pickpocket key points: died young and lost some of his humanity when he was revived
Thomas Clark
Race: Human/Dhampir by heritage. Class: Stand User Background: Minor pugilism and wrestling expertise, aspiring game dev. Key Points: Stand can copy other stands as long as their namesake song is playing - the older songs call up stronger stands. Tries to end combat as fast as possible.
Can i post both of mine? I'll post both.
Race: Refluffed Yith. Class: Artificer/Marksman. Background: Doctorate of Artifice from a well-known college of magic. Key Points: Prettyboy, left home to find a world which doesn't drive it's inhabitants mad, brings a memento from each world visited when he leaves, has a wife-to-be in another world.
Some Elvish flair with Dwarven influences of construction and machinery.
Brandon Smith
Race: Half-Orc Class: Fighter, champion archetype Background: Soldier Key point: He never knew his parents and was raised by a human merchant guild, to which he's ferociously loyal. He doesn't like being reminded of his orcish half, and is constantly guilty for being carried away when he fights Also, he comes from a city that our GM described as being "Hong kong but in Africa", so bonus points if you can find something vaguely sino-anglo-african
Kevin Johnson
youtube.com/watch?v=iWO4ff1HXYY Going off the death part and coming back to life almost as a second chance type of deal just because you're an undead thief doesn't mean you're not evil
Christopher Cruz
thanks my dude
Nathaniel Walker
youtube.com/watch?v=cvIqT-5sWmA Best I could come up with was a Geographical 'Middle ground' Not quite Mediterranean, not quite Eastern and not quite African but a little of at least two
Cooper Turner
Fancy. I'm not too sure about the Stand User's theme though, is there anything calmer in the soundtrack?
Might as well post one more...
Race: Human/Helf Hybrid Class: Decker (specificly old-school, external ware decker) Background: Dimensionally displaced pre-dragon corppie kid. Key Points: Has a Wild Sprite assistant, hates hacking implants because they made him go cyberpsycho once, prefers irish coffee cut with rum cola, dislikes killing. Recovered cyberpsycho
Race: Wild Sprite Class: Decker. Or something like that. Background: Boltzmann AI. Key Points: Religious to a fault, looks like an old-school JRPG nun sprite.
Race: Half-Orc Class: Fighter/Eldritch Knight Background: Haunted One Notes: Lone survivor of his clan with massive amount of survivor's guilt, who seeks to redeem himself through his actions
Race: Human Class: Swashbuckler Background: A court jester exiled for a bad joke (and the meddling of an ill intentioned noble) Keypoints: Trying to get his life back on track after losing everything
music threads on tg are always the best to find amazing music
I'm getting a slower paced Vibe, one trying to find their way in life, a little bit of a grab bag of everything youtube.com/watch?v=xz2C3aU8T1g
that's because we're not snobs like /mu/ and genuinely want other peoples expressive tastes
Nathaniel Cox
Sure, why not
Race: Goblin Class: Artificer (alchemist) Backround: Bartender Turned adventurer on a quest for revenge. Key Points: A man of juxtapositions, his classy attitude and look are contrasted by his gruesome weapons and fighting style, a Sickle and metal claw to tear opponents apart as painfully as possible.
youtu.be/eRIRSljV0WY I've enjoyed this for bards in the past, but I think it'd work for a swashbuckler too. A lot of instruments remind of a jester in some ways
Nolan Rogers
Race: Human Class: Summoner/Pyromancer Background: noble Key points: Very emotional and passionate, especially about the girl he loves, but he usually make decisions in combat aiming self preservation, since his big spells can be dangerous to his body. His big character moment will probably be the time he needs to man up to save the girl. I would prefer something without lyrics
Brandon Scott
Race: Windling (Pixie) Class: Rider Background: Underground academy Key Points: Noisy punk, befriends wild animals, charges small but epically into battle and blows shit up
Race: Human Class: Wizard, theurgy school (life domain) as far as the build goes, referred to as "Biomancer" in universe Backround: Guild Artisan (apothecary) Keypoints: Looks like a withered old man, but actually has the body of a fit young man. Only really cares about knowledge at all cost, wishing to find a way to unlock the body's full potential. Also, as a bit of flavor, when casting spells, he is actually using his body. Like when he casts spells that do acid damage, he vomits his stomach acid at the enemies, or when doing lighting damage spells, the electricity is produced by his muscles like an electric eel, etc. (Again, just regular spells gameplay wise, but given some visceral flavor in description). Also, outside of spells, he also likes to attack with darts coated in self-made poison, or a poisoned dagger in melee.
Benjamin Scott
good taste
Levi Hall
Character is from my ongoing K6BD game, using the PbtA system.
Race: Legion (Sentient Animated Corpse) Class: The Boss Background: Actually just some random corpse. Key Points: Rose to lead a street gang of other sentient and slightly less than sentient undead by being the craftiest, craziest, and meanest son of a bitch in the Hollows.
This song always seems like the theme to a jolly adventure to me.
Jordan Long
>Half-Elf >Warlock 5 (Archfiend, Pact of the Tome but his Book of Shadows is the Fiddle, a female servant of said archfiend that he transformed into a magical golden fiddle when she presumably pissed him off - not much known about her yet) >Entertainer >Fights with two daggers when he can't use his magic, but prefers to keep at range, or avoid fights with enchantment. >Formerly Chaotic Neutral, Chaotic Good as of last session >Suave, charming, cunning, ruthlessly pragmatic, but ultimately good at heart, or tries to be. Hunted by an archdevil named the Crimson King, from whom his old bard master got the aforementioned magic Fiddle in a bargain, then gave it to him and told him to run when the King came for his soul.
The theme songs I'm using at the moment are Devil Went Down To Georgia and youtube.com/watch?v=V9dJpznpZaI. R8 my selection and feel free to recommend others
James Allen
These are all fitting (and good) musics thanks!
Also got this character in mind, I'll have to choose between the two of them once our gm starts his campaign:
Race: Human Class: Pyromancer Background: Old wanderer who is trying to make the world a better place even with his destructive magic. Key points: His skin took the color of charcoal and ashes and his hands are all burned up due to his magic and he can't feel anything with them. Much to his dismay it means that he can't even feel the softness of the lock of hair his deceased lover offered to him when they first met
[YouTube] The Mountain Goats - Foreign Object (embed) he really seems to be completly nut
Camden Torres
Race: Human Class: Decker with a splash of street sam Background: Her deadbeat family got killed by the Russian mob over outstanding debt and she literally had her face stolen during the same fiasco. Ran all the way to Seattle to get away from the fallout. Key Points: Extremely aggressive in the Matrix. Would rather, and has frequently, kill enemy spiders with dumpshock and biofeedback than sneak around their networks. Outside of the Matrix she can be surprisingly timid, though increasingly that same bloodthirst is bleeding over into meat space.
This one is blocked in my country, is that a Johnny Cash song or is it a song sharing the same name?
Logan Scott
World of Darkness character, Hunter the Vigil
human, Hunter Profession: Socialite Compact: The Union Key Points: A stereotypical high-school queen bitch, who ended-up forced by circumstances to defend her neighborhood.
Race: Half Elf Class: Warlock /Hexblade)/Barbarian (Ancestral Guardian) Background: To impress his ancesteors by slaying the greatest beasts. Keypoints: He's never satisfied, allways looking for a greater beast to slay.
Easton Diaz
Got one for a Dragon Age game.
Race: Qunari Class: Grey Warden, Warrior Background: Grizzled mercenary who's too old for this 'end of the world' shit Key Points: Covered in scars and burns, etc. Typically wields a big flaming axe/maul that likes to eat other fire, wears armor made from dragon bones. When not going wild in battle, he's being driven crazy by his crippling depression and ptsd from the nearly 50 years he's been fighting.
Now, I already have a couple theme songs for the character, I'm more looking for a song for tonight's session. We're fighting an archdemon (pic related), and who ever kills the thing is guaranteed to die in the act, very likely to be my character.
