ICO ends in 20 days if it hasn't totally sold out by then. Literally the next Bounty0x.
Levi Moore
I like projects which have a real world component to them, but whata the use case? Why would someone want to rent a drone, nevermind a fleet of drones? Aamazon and UPS etc will have their own systems
Liam Davis
Yeah I don't quite get it. Have registered but looking into it further before deciding if I'll jump in.
The team has talked about initially starting with visual drones at first and then later with drones capable of carrying payloads. I think this is more interesting since the barrier to entry for most people is low. Drones scare away a lot of users due to limitations on battery life and high cost. You'd definitely get more people interested if you could get them to rent one to test out capabilities.
Eli Morales
Why would anyone rent a drone?
Carson Ward
why the fuck would you rent a drone? like what the fuck?
Amazon hasn't even got their delivery drone down. You think these fucks are going to be able to out develop something that Amazon is working on? Good luck on your bags.
Landon Taylor
Ech, not compelling enough. I buy on use cases, tech and teams. I dont have time to chase pumps, so i need something that i can buy and then forget about for daya at a time.
Eli Harris
I could think of a few different reasons. Getting some aerial photography of an area, recording video if you're involved in sports, etc. It'd be a lot cheaper than purchasing one yourself and doing the same.
Lucas Gutierrez
Yeah I think I'll throw a couple hundred bucks in. Not sure it'll be my best investment. But it sounds quirky enough that they might actually pull it off. If u was a drone user I'd probably be more inclined.
Isaac Martinez
but why does this need blockchain? I get it if they are already a successful drone renting business, but...I'm not seeing that mentioned.
Jordan Brooks
On today's episode of Solutions To Problems That Don't Exist : TELEPORT
Caleb Watson
Possible illicit activities can be implemented
>Drug Runs >Peeping >Dropping things like bags of powdered industrial paint >Shooting porn(?)
Or maybe they're just trying to set up for possible FAA restrictions which would make it nearly impossible for the average Joe to own one
Also it'd be cool for projects like snowboarding, or say youre on a family vacation and you want to take some aerial shots, weddings , bar mitzvahs (Oi vey I can't spell).
Kevin Ramirez
Like Uber?
Jayden Gonzalez
A p2p drone network to deliver drugs would be fucking awesome. With crypto and decentralized marketplaces.....Man.
Christian Morris
shit..y'all are shilling a great idea
Matthew Reyes
See, now I'm interested.
Illegal activities have always driven the cryptosphere to success.
Chase Foster
Haha.. I literally work for a company that has been looking for a solution like this.
Guess what I do.
Ethan Butler
Get dubs?
Caleb Evans
user, have you ever flown a drone? Shits hard. Normies are going to be crashing these things daily, and that means insurance/repair costs. This isn't as clear cut as it seems
Austin Sanchez
Now if it was a service that allowed for the rental of programmed drones as a method of delivery?
That would be good.
Imagine contracting the drones out to a local pizza parlor and they just tie the box to it and deliver the pizza.
Complicated as fuck though. This sounds more like a kickstarter for a drone rental service that's going to flop hard.
Henry Jenkins
These are preprogrammed drones. You set the route and then it flies accordingly. You can view what it views as it flies. I imagine they will have user-controlled drones as well but a lot of the higher end ones are pretty stupid proof.
Alexander Wilson
see
They will be preprogrammed which makes this interesting since it has use cases albeit limited ones atm. Co
Kayden Martinez
What's the point though?
Why would I rent a preprogrammed drone to fly it around? I would only do that if I wanted to spy on my neighbor undressing
Dominic Powell
Require a deposit to use the service? Not that hard , it's like renting a Jetski you kike
I'm a master shiller so I can make any shit coin sound fucking amazing, i'm a VERY effective speaker , not some pajeet hack.
An extremely practical use for this is something simmilar to UberEats , food is generally no more than 10lbs and pugs are generally heavier than that
I don't like the charge pad idea however, it should be some kind of robotic system to swap batteries and just have 3+ batteries in reserve
>The year is 2020 >Humans are strapped into VR using cloud computing via Spectre coin >All transactions occur in REQ >All file transfers occur in UFR >We buy our medical marijuana using PRG >BTC is immortalized as a forefather but is slain by DGB >SIMBAAAAAAAAAA >All international money transfers are made in XLM >Drones and automated cars are the only forms of transit besides Elon's Hyper loop >The air is filled with Octo Copters all delivering goods but most importantly food via Teleport >The neets who have made billions are the new robber barons of the virtual world >3rd world countries are wiped to provide solar power and resources >Expansion to mars and the moon is afoot >Scientists are playing god, modifying genes and creating a race of super humans , mixing the brainpower of virgins , and the superior genetics of chads >Decide on a new standard for humans >6"3 , White , built >Other traits such as hair color , eye color , and dick size are selected during the IV fertilization process

Wrong pic
Leo Davis
That dog looks terrified.
Ethan Young
a friend of mine bought a 300 dollar drone. broke a propeller the first day he had it. Luckily it came with spares, but he soon realized drones are just a huge money hole. Nothing can stupid proof something dropping from 50 ft because the batteries ran out
Jaxon Fisher
Most high end drones have a Go Home feature when the battery level hits X%
It's a software feature most cheap drones don't have.
Oliver Hill
I work for a company that does site inspections, inspections of towers etc. This is a legal requirement that we inspect these towers regularly, some of them are 150M up.
Recently we've taken to hiring drones to do the inspections for us and it's been fucking amazing. Huge savings, way more detail.
Before this we'd have to call out a contractor to do it for $400.
Now we leave a drone on sites that we want to inspect and fly it around when we need to.
This technology will literally make construction industries and a lot of "Go and inspect X" type jobs nut in their pants.
Not to mention drones put near wildlife areas/woods that people can just pay 30 minutes for and fly around and check stuff out with.
If they expand the service to not just be photos but a livestream, with direct flight controls (along with some limitaitons).. then this is going to be the next 'lets play' craze.
Nicholas White
What do you think about a company like AAA adopting this shit? Instead of having a fleet of drives , just deliver gas, jumperkits , fix a flat , etc
