>Does your group listen to music when you play? no i cant stand people who act like subway niggers blasting random shitty music from they sell fones
Eli Gomez
So has an official announcement been made on Un-Shit in EDH now? Is everything legal now or did they make a few exceptions and cut the rest?
Dominic Barnes
Saying again in the new thread. Just dont make some gay anime shit and make sure I can see CMC, type, subtype and relevant text if they do some weird complicated shit
For the thread question, gangster rap or if we're super stoned something more relaxed
Andrew Nelson
For someone who hates subway niggers you sure type like one
Nolan Powell
...
Jonathan Rogers
These too egregious for you?
Logan Gutierrez
Someone asked for the doublers, so saying again:
Not gonna dump the whole deck cause I'm too lazy to up it on tappedout, but here's the doublers:
Dictate of the twin gods, Curse of bloodletting, Gratuitous violence, Angrath's marauders, Gisela, blade of Goldnight.
I also use Savege beating, Berserker's onslaught and Aurelia, the warleader.
Wyatt Anderson
>EDHrec is more important to the format than them. *puts a WW1 video in your path*
Something else being more influential does not change how influential The Command Zone are. Their Game Knights videos get around 250k views on youtube and have 4 times more subscribers than Limited Resources (a podcast about MTGs most popular format, hosted by a literal hall-of-famer and the one of the rare MTG pros people know). Like it or not, when people type "MTG commander" they are the first thing that comes up and normies are super into watching videos instead of reading articles.

>wrong frame for multicolored card >fucking with best spellslinger >dismissing based Greg Staples art
William Sanders
Generic/10
Jose Evans
Art looks cool but it wouldnt turn out well printed out I bet, unless youve got a very good printer, but with those commanders especilly I'd want to see text. they have alot of words on em
Christian Murphy
What's wrong with gonti's orginal art? I think he's great as he is and the alter looks generic as fuck
Thomas Campbell
>not blasting hentaicore in the background with gachimuchicore mixed in Low tier playgroup
Jackson Russell
Normies don't watch lenghty videos about mtg. I bet that most of those views comes from people who doesn't even play the game.
Easton Walker
I use pic related since tcgplayer fucked up my sidisi order and I couldn't find a foil one. Foil alters are the shit
Jackson Howard
Frames intentional, don't care much for the basic art if I'm being honest.
Eh, I can see it looking that, I try to get alters like this made for most of my decks that I feel like I'm going to keep.
I have someone I use on Etsy to get these done, last few have turned out really good.
The original art is OK, this is just a little thing I do to customize my decks.
This is another I'm still on the fence about having made.
Grayson Ross
>cast Kynaios and Tiro >gachimuchi intesifies
Ryder Cooper
Why would people who don't play magic, watch people playing magic? Unless you somehow can back up your claim, you're just pulling things out of your ass.
Eli Peterson
are we posting top tier alters?
Jaxon Torres
>not listening to ASMR, whispering your actions, rattling dice and flicking cards What a shitty playgroup
Isaiah Cox
Lewd alters are the only alters I'd be okay with. I really want to get some high quality hentai sleeves desu
>Why would people who don't play magic, watch people playing magic Because their opponent is playing Derevi.
Jacob Russell
Last time I played with my casual group, we had movies playing in the background. That group is relaxed enough that it doesn’t really matter Woah this is lovely, I want this for my Sidisi deck!
David Gutierrez
>why would people who don't play X watch a video about X? Are you really asking that? Do you play every single game you watch a video on youtube about?
Christopher Wilson
Do you actually think that most of the people who watches shows like Critical Role actually plays rpg?
Oliver Ortiz
>[MENACING] >ゴゴゴゴ
Nicholas Long
What are you brewing so far with the new cards? Pic related, wanna build some odd spellslinger deck. Probably Vial Smasher at the helm.
Jacob Campbell
Why would you pay someone to do it when you could do it yourself? It's not exactly rocket science
Owen Anderson

Because the cost of printing on a suitable printer, the materials needed to make foil alters, and the general hassle is worth the 7$ shipped my guy charges.
Christopher Harris
Whats the counter to theft decks?
Isaac Green
HomewardPath

Logan Howard
Speaking off, is there a geist of saint traft jojo alter yet?
Jeremiah Cruz
holy butts is that a motherhumping gojo reference?!
Isaac Watson
Nowadays more people watch other people play than play a game themselves. And the people who both extensively watch shows about a game, and plays that game with a decent frequency are easily outnumbered by the rest who wouldn't change how the meta will work out.
Even now, I bet there is an easy 1/3 of people here who haven't had a match of commander in months.
Trying to figure out which control elements should be cut, if any, and looking to justify removing the cards on the maybe board from consideration. Any thoughts?
Justin Bell
I don't have sex but I watch porn
Mason Wood
No, but I am a video game player. If I weren't, I wouldn't watch them.
Parker Peterson
what if someone takes my theros god and isnt a creature, it would still return them as its always a creature right?
Nathaniel Diaz
nope doesnt have the supertype? creature if devotion isnt high enough
Isaiah Hill
No if it's not a creature it doesn't get hit by Homeward Path
Robert Foster

Bentley Brown
Krenko or purph?
Christopher Martin
Purphoros.
Joshua Hughes
Пypпх
Jeremiah Lewis
if purphoros is the soviet union god would helios or erebos be the nat soc one?
Ethan Moore
...
Charles Perez
Erebos is chinese communism, helios is nat soc.
Luis Mitchell
I'd use this any day
Charles Taylor
need this
Cameron Kelly
>datpost why?
>thread question Yes. The shop I play it usually plays dadrock and white people rap. When I play at my friends house he plays music. He's got a great taste and it varies heavily in genre and mood. Lastly I play at a coffeeshop with some friends and people in my friends fb page and they play background music.
I generally think alters a dumb and most people don't have an eye for what works as an alter.
Want a new deck. Any ideas?
Liam Murphy
So is Ioras the fascist god?
Nathan Stewart
What happens when someone plays this and perplexing chimera? >you trade away chimera for a creature >another player casts a spell >chimera owner taps homeward path to return chinera and creature to themselves >then chimera triggers on the new spell to trade up again Is this how it works?
Lucas Russell
...
Hunter Cruz
That's how it's best abused, it's my favorite blue card because of the nonsense you can get away with.
Stealing ETB effects and any non creature spell you want with ease
Lincoln Allen
So the way you build a sunbirds deck is to just run all the big spells so you reveal half your deck?
James Parker
Just play some yidris and use it to get double cascade shit on top of your cascades
Jonathan Allen
Nice cause i stuck it in a clone deck and im constantly worried about what happens to the playgroup if i rite of rep it in multiplayer
Wyatt Kelly
Nothing wrong with that.
Jonathan Carter
Zada, Hedron Grinder
Or
Ishkanah Grafwidow
Jeremiah Wright

Justin Collins
You prepare for a good time that's what
Jeremiah Perry

Christian Lewis
>rite of rep on chimera
i cant tell if that would make the game hilarious or make it unplayable
Henry Price
Do deadeye navigator!
Adrian Green
No, you have to use Homeward Path before they cast the spell. The player who controlled the Chimera when the spell was cast will get the trigger, but they'll only be able to exchange it if they still control the Chimera when the trigger resolves.
Carter Bennett
Not me. Some dude from instagram.
Kayden Lee
What is his handle?
Carter Parker
That sounds cleaner. Seems like i have to do it in reaponse to tapping mana or trade for non-permanent spells so i can onesided homeward easier before casts
Bentley Baker
I have built him from remnants of my Mogis, which was heavily discard themed enchantress and I also added few good minotaurs for good measure.
Eli Morgan

Luke Bailey
My friend runs this guy as Minotaur SEAL Team
Vehicles and angry Minotaurs. He only plays it when he's sufficiently drunk and it's fucking hysterical
Ian Green
You can't respond to a player activating mana abilities.
Really you just have to use the chimera to steal something, and then grab it back with the Path. There isn't really anyway to let other people keep it until a spell you want comes up.
Easton Martinez
Ask him a list i curious as fuck
Brayden Stewart
Still good to steal etb triggers then give back the body, all things considered. Guess im picking up a homeward path, in my steal heavy deck. Hope that doesnt backfire
Thomas Myers
Don't have a grixis deck so I'm thinking of this guy at the helm, anyone got some good stuff to add besides conjurer's closet and deadeye navigator?
Juan Watson
Sundial?
Ian Cook
Sundial
Lucas Thomas
Sound pretty good. Still, I really like enchantments and Hellbent, so it works in my favor. I really was thirsty for suitable discard commander in BR, and Mogis was the best choice, but not anymore.
Jeremiah Gomez
>It's not even a good card. Why people get so mad about it? i mean, just don't play that many non-basic if your opponent has it.
Adrian Turner
Honestly the only way this could be better is if that was an actual Force of Will that got altered.
The previously mentioned sundial and some of the sweet grixis creatures like Blood Tyrant and Bolas.
James Barnes
Does an optimal gishath deck just play every dinosaur to maximize hits off his attack trigger? How choosy do i need to be?
Charles Miller
I don't think you can afford to be choosy with how few dinos there are
Evan Anderson
That's a really well done alter, other than the fact has has three elbows
Jaxson Gomez
Thanks man
I'm running a janky Soldier tribal because they're my favorite underdogs. It's fun, but definitely needs to hit harder
Matthew Adams
Anyone have a Jeleva list? Grixis spellslinging sounds like fun, but Inalla seems kinda boring
Dominic Jenkins
How does my casual Zur list look? Would you find this fun to play against?
OP question - no to music. When I play in store it's late so there's usually loud as fuck maintenance workers doing shit, and when I play at home it's usually in silence. We might have the tv or music on occasionally but it's rare.
Gonna re ask my question for the new thread: I want to build a 75% Silas Renn deck - what do I chuck in it? That means no infinite combos, just goodstuff / janky effects but still having a clear win con? I'm not interested in partnering him.
Hunter Flores
>Would you find this fun to play against? well its helmed by zur so no
Jose Morgan
Get them printed on 300 cardstock via one of the playing cards printing sites. It'd come out looking like a legitimate card, you could even get it foiled. I can explain the full process if interested.
Hudson Stewart
Lmao this is fucking great. Force of Will is the best example of a pay to win card in MTG to be honest. My sides
Jack Sanchez
Not that user but please do. I have a Feldon deck so I’d love to have 4+ copies of creatures I am copying.
Luis Allen
but where though? I dont have that kinda hardware
Mason Evans
Officially all gone. Silver Border legality has expired like milk left on the breakroom counter over a holiday weekend.
John Mitchell
>Does your group listen to music when you play? If it's just me and some friends at one of our homes, sure, sometimes we'll put on some appropriately themed folk metal or something. Otherwise, no.
Carter Ward
I guess the question is mostly, how many dinosaurs do I need to reliably hit 2-3 which feels like the baseline for him to be good?
Nathaniel Evans
Probably 35 would be a good number to start with. You could just add all the rare and uncommons one together and that would be pretty good, just don't put the Dorandino in
