There's already one up

They might also do the War of the Beat or Age of Apostacy.

EXODITES

Nth for can i heroic intervene if a custodes u it charges using their strategem

Too bad

Ah yes, just another day on this site with you tremendous fuckups

This one bothered to change the painting tutorial

It literally showed up 2 seconds before this one. which means they could of been submitted at the same time.

It's okay. I was making one too, but I refreshed to catalog before I hit submit

Am i stupidly hyped for custodes? How is it possible they managed to make me want a meme faction.

Nth for are the Best Dudes

...

DA is best Legion

First for WIP waifus

Beat me to it!

But that's wrong you triple faggot.

Classic

...

To me this is one of the better new pieces of art they've done for 40k
I might just have a crush tho

She looks fancy, counts-as Cadre FireBlade?

Does anyone have a copy of Castellan or the new Fulgrim book? Can't find them anywhere.

Couple of questions. Do you prefer the idea that a hidden, powerful force has been manipulating the Tau from the shadows and is the real reason for their success? Or do you prefer the idea that all of the Tau's success is from their own strength?

Secondly, do you prefer the idea that the Necrons have mostly become senile old shits as the reason behind them not just completely conquering the galaxy? Or do you prefer the idea that most of them just don't care enough about conquering to put the effort in?

She is a Cadre Fireblade, just doesn't have her gun arm yet.

Ha ha, triple gay!

> Chaos Daemons Codex
> Not a single photo of the Keeper of Secrets or Fiend

Is there hope for a resculpt or are they simply ashamed?

> Look at the sweet wall paint everyone

No. You auto lose against Cuckstodes anyway. NPCs need not apply in 8th ed.

second and second

Eventual resculpt is the current theory. There is enough stuff in the fluff for 40k and AoS that Slaanesh is on the prowl and returning in AoS. Just expect it to be like a year or two like with everything else.

A female fireblade? Where'd ya find that?

Manipulated Tau and lazy, disinterested Necrons.

I mean technically you can. but it wouldn't help you anyways as they would go first in the fight phase.

Tau are a reflection of what early-expansion humanity looked like
With progressive views on technology and co-operation with other species, they've got a great head start
But like humanity, it's all gonna bite them hard in the ass later on

Anyone know what paint scheme they used in this picture for the vehicles? I've seen the archived one but this one looks difference. Never seen that greenish-grey look before.

>still no Tau codex
I just want me mecha blueberries spamming shots.

huh you're right, I hadn't noticed that. Curious

She's a kitbash

That to me just looks like a dirty grey
The green you're seeing might be a trick of the light

Just give them the helmetless female Shas'ui from Fire Warriors

Both
They want a Slaanesh rescupt that looks a lot more kid-friendly

We've got a Slaanesh/CSM player who I'm convinced faps to his FW KoS, I imagine he'll be fuming, and I find that hilarious

I think it would be a disservice to Tau if they can't attribute their success to their own strength. It's the same as how the gods may have CSM's back, but their success is on their own strength and measure, not because deus vult.
As for the second, isn't it canonically both, with an added thing that they don't have the raw numbers, most tomb worlds being in slumber, to challenge the wider galaxy?

But tits are kid friendly. I’ve never seen a kid actively avoiding them

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is this the correct blu-tack needed to temporarily hold my models together when figuring out poses and such?

So can anyone explain how black library says that the vast majority of Custodes died in the webway war, but GW says 4k of them sallied forth to defend Terra?
Is GW just btfo'ing BL because fuck BL and FW shenanigans, or can they create more Custodes? On that, what happened to Valdor?

What army would they play ?

Yea that'll do fine

Just wrote up this GK list while at work. It’s made with what I currently own. Rate?

Have the cunts from Feminist 40k started explaining to everyone that there's nowhere in lore that it says there aren't female Custodes and if you don't like it you're a sexist Arch Warhammer fan?

>Popuko
World Eaters

>Pipimi
Tzeentch Daemons

>Have the cunts from Feminist 40k started explaining to everyone that there's nowhere in lore that it says there aren't female Custodes

I know we had people a few threads ago discussing where to find heads for making such. Some guy was going to do it with his SOB for a 'Defenders of Terra' list.

That sounds like a good explanation. Guess I'll just follow this older guide, since it looks good and is somewhat close to what I see in that picture.

web.archive.org/web/20080410230950/http://uk.games-workshop.com/imperialguard/vostroyan-regimental-assets/4/

It's been 10,000 years, and unlike the rest of the Imperium, they were trained as Engineers, scientists, philosophers, etc. They've rebuilt and can make their own wargear.

Seems legit.

Can they make more Custodes, is what I'm asking.
I wagered GE would keep that knowledge to himself. Hell, he destroyed half the notes on the process that made the primarches, after all.

Samefag. Posts were 36 seconds apart

IMO GK need metal bawkses

I've found deepstrike to be too unreliable, even with FttF. Draigo works at full effectiveness with bigger guns and lots of dakka, like a stormraven or a land raider (or two). He's a bit redundant specially considering that you already have a chaplain for CC rerolls.

If you can, drop a terminator squad, split strikes into two 5 man squads and add some paladins, they're a lot more durable than regular termies.

missing quote

...

>split strikes into two 5 man squads

I want Crisis Suits to be treated as individual units once they've deployed. It'd make equipping them easier since I can devote each one to a specific task and send them out.

Eldar, TSons, Mechanicus
Which one bros?
I like fluff of all of them.
Tsons are cool spess egyptians (+ reading Ahriman Omnibus so might not be objective)
Mechanicus looks cool but i am afraid if i would be able to paint them since i am a painting brainlet.
Eldar just have something i like, i can't pinpoint it.
Maybe the hope for wood elf version of exodites?
Wat do bros

Just how human are the AdMech? Do they retain personality at all, or even their internal organs?

As far as we know, they can’t breed and are made through genetic manipulation rather than implants. This means that they don’t really have a gender

>tfw just woke up in The Dark City
bit grim here lads

>space gay elves
just no
>space egyptians
cool, but too few units
>mechanicus
go for that one

My collection is bigger than the list, so it’s definitely flexible. I own a total of 20 terms and 20 PAGK, a Land Raider, 2 NDKs, Voldus, Brotherhood Champ, Librarian, and a WIP regular Brother Captain/Grandmaster.

>It's another small-brained retard asks a question that implies he thinks there's one catch-all blanket answer to for an incomprehensibly vast super culture of one million different planets
Hurrrr

Yes they can and we'll know more about the how when the codex is out, most likely

As a really rough concept, I think Tzeentch models can stand in for kitbashing. Both have lots of filligree and Slaaneshii stuff is easy to sculpt.
I FEEL THE WARP OVERTAKING ME

*get killed by a scourge*

Traditionally, Eldar have been the strongest army in the game, has pleasant aesthetics and rewards craftiness.
9e is an exception, but I feel it gives the most dividends in the end. This is the first time Eldar have been so weak in the history of the fucking GAME.
This. There is no men only attachment to Custodes, they are whatever you want them to be.

Base Karak stone, drybrush Ushabti bone, obligatory Agrax earthshade, then tidy up the bits where the shade spilled over with another drybrush.

TSons, they're getting their codex soon. I'm starting TSons now for that reason

>Yes they can
Is it stated, implied, or is GW retconning a BL novel?

Where would you get some female heads actually large enough to work for Custodes models?

Can a turbo autist help my normal autist self?
>Guardsmen are painted in dark green fatigues and with matching green flak armor.
>Brown boots/details/equipment
>Red rifles
Is there a regiment in the canon with that kind of color scheme? I went for green/green because I'm not a fan of the cadian models and was speedpainting them as allies in 6th. But now they are my main army. I know the rifles are a stretch.

Really user? Really really?

Do custodes have women? Is this heresy?

GW don't sell any. but Victoria Minatures has a range of basically renamed Mordians. The whole squad options are "Tannenburg Fusiliers" with the "Laser Rifle Mk3" being the closest match to lasguns. Obviously they also sell other weapons like flamers, snipers, meltas etc.

They can make more. After the War in the Webway there were around 900 or so custodes somewhat fit for combat (and Dorn told them to stay at home while the big boys settled the heresy), yet a couple of centuries later they were the ten-thousand again.
For a more modern example: During the Sack of the Lion's Gate during Guilliman's return the custodes deployed nearly half their forces outside the palace and lost almost two-thousand of them. And yet they're rebuilding again.

2 and 3
GW overrules Black Library all the fucking time, that's why no one intelligent takes that shit seriously as a canon source.

Post timers aren't 36 seconds, so I don't know what he thinks he's discovered.

What rules differences might there be between Allarus termies and Aquilon termies ?

Wait for the Tsons dex in a month to see if they suck ass or not, their model range is tiny and their only new units in the codex are likely to be AoS crossovers. If Rubrics dont get some serious love it might end up as Codex: Tzaangors.

Even if they're not in line for an update, putting the current keeper of secrets next to the new BT, LoC, or GUO is just cruel.

I think they could easily make it more kid friendly but still highly disturbing if they fell back on the "baphomet goat in leather chaps" thing the KoS used to have going on.

That pic of the fucking huge one REEEing at Aenarion would be a good direction to go as well.

if you like terminator armor, I'd put them in land raiders and go for the beta strike rather than alpha. You can also flank with some strikes in a rhino popping smoke and deepstrike DK(s) either turn 1 or turn 2 (your choice)

So it's implied, word.

Looks like Reikland Fleshshade highlighted with terminatus stone to me. Maybe something slightly darker.

We've got no clue right now save that they are not space marines so if they are all-male it's not for the same reason as space marines.

>Buying shitty 3rd party sculpts that look bad next to official models
>Buying shitty female 3rd party sculpts that look bad next to official models just so you can be a pathetic waifufagging polbaiting special snowflake fucktard
Shiggydigg

>But like humanity, it's all gonna bite them hard in the ass later on
How?
Only two things fucked up the Imperium
1. The emperor made a handful of mistakes (in hind-sight)
2. Chaos exists and caused those mistakes to snowball into a galactic conflict

Chaos doesnt give a shit about Tau so what could possibly go wrong

Playing around with my list trying to get salamanders to work and marines are so expensive to field, its disgusting. Cap, Lt, 8 Sterns, and 2 min tac squads in pods with 12 plasma guns and a couple power fist is 750 points. Meanwhile a whole catachan battalion of 40 guardsmen all with plasma guns and plasma pistols, a psyker, a priest and geared out commander is only 328. A guard detachment like that should be in every single marine army. "Soup" is simply a requirement to play the game correctly, and you should stop complaining about it.

Old KoS looks plain wrong next to the new Greaters that everyone else has. That's probably why it didn't get included.

Catachan, unless you hate having abs strong enough that they provide an armor save.

I mean I'd personally use a Verminlord as a base model if I wanted a swole Keeper of Secrets

Right now I’m at a loss as to how to play the damn army this edition. Information that contradicts itself everywhere. I bought a lot of Terminator armor because PAGK were shit in 7th, but now I hear they’re better.

It's been mentioned on the community website that they have a whole group of custodians who are tasked with all the genetic shenanigans they do. You might recall the custodian in white that you could see among the other new models, if you have seen the pictures.

>When the soup tastes just right.

Literally yes and no. Some do, some don't, the Admech is vast and arguably the most varied of all the "human" factions.

Normally lower ranks have more organs unless they're Genetors or Biologis, lower ranks have more emotion, middle ranks have less and the Archmagi tend to be either twisted creatures with little human-baseline brain left or a kind of zen-master analogue where they feel emotions normally but have adamantium control over them when needed, like Cawl or Decima Invictus. When those last ones choose to specialise in combat (Malagra, Macrotek, Reductor) they become downright terrifying to the point that the response of the Death Guard crew of a Fellblade to Decima scuttling on the tank and slashing open the barrel was basically "we're fucked, die fighting".

Which one?
