Would Quirks in MHA count as mutations?

Probably.

What settings do you wish we had Jumps for? Pic unrelated.

Probably.

What is your pic?

Best self-defense perks for pacifist jumpers?

It is from Uta Mask of Deception/Truth. One of those two.

How's the Underdark jump coming along?

The Deplorable Word from Narnia. Nobody will be able to hurt you if there's nobody who can hurt you.

Was actually just talking about one of them.

Mother of demons by eric flint. Its a story about humans on an alien world where the sapient species is massive mollusks with bronze age tech. Humans have roughly the same tech.

Dragon Eater from Waltraute, or intangibility. Also, Legendary Hero from Medaka Box Abnormal, funnily enough.

>Legendary Hero
I don't like that perk because if anyone sees you naked then they'll be horny forever.

How do I deal with Mister Mxyzptlk in Injustice?

That's not how it works and you know it.

Pretty sure you can choose when the effect applies. Also, not sure it even applies to things like that because people fight Iihiko and aren't mad/pumping adrenaline all the time.

What's the point of buying a Magic Crest in any of the Fate jumps? It should be assumed that by default, you already have one, since most origins make you a Magi.

>Pic
You fucker.

Why not use the perk (is it legendary hero?) From medaka to make it so that you give someone an orgasm and they can never ever stop having an orgasm. They have one long nonstop orgasm.

I don't think you know what Magic Crests are, then.

Background knowledge? Maybe the ability to apply it to others?

Only one Magus can receive a Crest. And not all families necessarily have one that's worthwhile. The one you purchase both guarantees one and guarantees actual benefits.

Magi pass their magic crests down to their children, and it's a custom to only have one child to avoid dispustes over them. Ergo, you should have one, unless you decide that there were some problems in your family.

How did you escape the dungeon.

Because they'd die soon?

With the power of Super Dickery just like how Supes did it in the animated series.

How best to waifu Galacta (particularly get her as an Alt-Form for another of my waifus)

Vampire Hunter D, or to go really obscure Tannhauser.

The same way I escaped your mother's.

>The same way I escaped your mother's.
Straight Shota willpower

All of them. Yes, even that one. Especially that one.

Black Company
He-Man
Ancient Magus Bride
Robin Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings
Ravnica
Pointy-Hat Atelier
Troll Hunter
Venture Brothers
Little Witch Academia

Battlefield Bad Company, I want the team.

Or you could be a first-gen like Shirou.
Or have a crest with a whooping 2 circuits in it.
Or you could be the middle child who doesn't get shit.

You know.

Take that perk from one of the Alice in Wonderland jumps that lets you redefine words?
Replace something like the word "the" with "Mxyzptlk". He goes away if he says his own name, right?

No because you also cast heal on them so they never stop healing.

Was it Rose or Annette working on LWA?

Rose.
Except that Valeria's pushing that one further back so that she can get her replacement jump fix again.

So you admit to the Dungeon?

>Vampire Hunter D
This is a great one.

I never like answering these questions because it feels like the only other people that'd be interested in them are people I feel couldn't do them justice.

Is that why shirou is such a shit mage? He was adopted and given a total of 2 circuits?

Does he even have mage genes?

Shadowrun Returns (Dragonfall specifically, but Hong Kong was cool too)
Child of Light
Dungeons of Dredmor

Why dont I make them? Because my attempts are terrible and I can never finish them.

Augmented Reality Girls Trinary. I think it would be a nice jump to have, having cute girls, do cool things, while being magical girls as well.

Especially the stuff about the Phenomenon I've found out through Google Translate.

There are Magi without Crests.

There are Magi families who are young, only three generations or so, and have Crests not even worth talking about.

There are ancient families who have Crests so old and mysterious that they are considered National Treasures of the Magus Association.

Then there are anomalous Crests that hold even more ancient secrets, like a Noble Phantasm in one instance.

Basically?

Crests vary, getting the free option gets you a Crest of a young Family that barely started its research and development. While buying it grants you the Crest of an established family, akin to the Tohsaka or the Emiya (before their fall).

Kiritsugu gave him a training that made him suffer to make him give up and stop wanting to be a magus, but Shirou is such a hardheaded moron he continued many years after Kiritsugu died

Is this the one with the corporate-sponsored magical girls?

I was trying to be stealthy clever with what seems like a generic comeback. I was preparing for a "My mother doesn't have a dungeon though" comment somewhere so I could go "There you go." but user's mom is freaky and I failed.

Was there a arifureta shokugyou de sekai saikyou jump being made or did it get dropped

>>Crests vary, getting the free option gets you a Crest of a young Family that barely started its research and development.
Literally your opinion, this isn't stated anywhere in the document. You're free to fanwank what your background is like, reasonably of course, which also includes what kind of magic crest you have.

First off, excuse your weebspeak.
Second, one does exist.

>corporate-sponsored

Well if I remember correctly, they're part of Japan's Information Management Agency. So maybe that's what your referring to?

I'd be happy with any jumps for literature/traditional games/mythology in general. We're drowning in anime jumps right now.

Sorry and where can I find it

Shirou actually has an absolutely bizarre number of Magic Circuits (he has 27 of them) but they're terrible quality compared to even an average Magus, let alone top quality ones like Rin has. He's a shit Magus because his Origin and Elemental Affinity are both "Sword." This is such an absurd and overspecialized affinity that he has absolutely no talent for anything except Magecraft that centers around sword, at which he's game-breaking god tier. This is made even worse in any timeline where Shirou learns that his Origin is Sword.

Shirou's a shit mage because Kiritsugu didn't actually want to let him live that life and taught him really poorly after he relented and let Shirou use magic. I'm not sure Shirou even has Kerry's Magic Crest. Also he literally doesn't know how to turn on the circuits he has (about 27 poor quality ones, I think?) and instead turns pieces of his nervous system into some.

>mage genes
Circuit quantity and quality is inherited but entirely spiritual. The physical effects they have on the body is just a reflection of what's going on in the soul. Either way, Shirou would be a passable magi even without any real heritage, if one limited by nature to practical magic rather than the snooty high-concept research the Clock Tower loves.

Well, first get a dimensional travel method, because she's non-canon and so none of the Marvel jumps we have will place you into a universe she exists in. Then find a universe where she exists, and offer her delicious microbial treats, with the promise that the multiverse has all sorts of other lovely things. And make yourself look like a good, dependable partner who can help her raise her parthenogenic monster-baby, a single mother has to worry about how anyone she's dating will interact with her kid.

Currently in the Uploads folder. Here you go.

It's shaping up to be a massive Jump. It will not be done quickly. I'm talking "Divinity Original Sin" kind of not quickly. I'm working at my own pace and lately that pace has been glacial due to a fickle muse. The race section continues to be a massive undertaking AHAHAHA!! on its own. I haven't even skeletoned the Drawback section yet.

Makes me wonder what a person who grabs the Majutsu Kokuin crest from fate stay night could do. I chose Gem.Magic for mine, I dont know why it seemed good at the time.

I have yet to really use it, at the moment Im brainstorming maybe using it with ffxiv to go to a long jump like civ and create a nation of people using them and xiv crystals to become summoners via stored up faith inside of magic crystal gems.

Shirou is incompatible with Kerry's Magic Crest so it stayed with Kerry when he died.

She's apparently going to be offered as a companion in Marvel Cosmic.

Okay, it could be the Crest of an old family that didn't put much work into it, too, but I don't know why you'd want to be descended from a clan of lazy failures.

What fate jumps even give you a free crest?

>He-Man
I need this. With a live action movie drawback.

You have a way to give others magic circuits?

> The lifeline of every Magus Family. This single item, taking the form of an intricate tattoo somewhere on the owner's body, is the collected magecraft knowledge of the entire family. Each generation donates a Magical Circuit and all of what they have researched, learned and discovered to the Magic Crest as it is passed down from each Family Head to their Heir as they come off age to inherit. Your Majutsu Kokuin, whether it was given to you as your rightful inheritance or you stole it, is one of an ancient and powerful family. Tens of generations across centuries have worked on the knowledge that lays within, which is focused on a Magic Specialisation of your choice. You may freely access this knowledge at will, as if it were in your own head. The Crest also contributes the equivalent of 100 Magical Circuits to your own, from those donated by past Family Heads. Magus Heirs gain a free version of this perk but it is much weaker. It is the equivalent of a Family Crest with only a generation or three behind it. It holds 3 Magic Circuits and knowledge on a small handful of low to mid-level spells in general or focused on a chosen Magic Specialisation.

> It is the equivalent of a Family Crest with only a generation or three behind it.

Compared to every other Magus Family that's a Family that barely begun to do anything with itself. Not my opinion, it's the In-Universe opinion of the Association.

I mean, the shown effects of magic crests were kinda shitty desu. I don't know if it's even worth to spend 300 CP on.

Who is making that jump?

I grabbed it because I am a sucker for Time Alter

I'm talking about Fate/Zero here, not Stay/Night.

Cracker_Jack I think.

Nope, not without Spiritual Surgery to transfer someone's circuits to another or First Magic to create them in someone wholesale.

So it's all Kiritsugu's fault for:
>causing the fire in the first place
>stuffing Avalon in him and never taking it out
>half-assing his training

Once again, Kerry' choices ruins yet another life. Fuck that guy.

Currently running on a mix of spiritual doctor from fate stay and a lot of healing magic slammed directly into a soul. Not 100% sure that I wouldnt have high rate of failure either. It would be for a small amount of elite summoner units.

Dont they also work as repositories for magical knowledge?

>stuffing Avalon in him and never taking it out
I mean that thing literally the reason he is alive in Stay/Night and given his experiences making Shirou into a magus would be a terrible idea, he just did not expect that Shirou would be enough of an autist to want to be a SEIGI NO MIKATA

The anime sure does make this more extreme. Praetorians are like have the size. At least Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker kept that shit relatively game friendly.

...then why the heck didn't you say so? Point this shit out so everyone's on the same page (literally in this case).

Kiritsugu is a prime example of trying to hard in the wrong way.

He tried to keep his kid safe by not teaching him magic to keep him out of the moonlit world but ended up just leaving him unprepared.

The fire was kinda unavoidable without risking the destruction of the world and he had no way of knowing that Saber's Excalibur would be unable to destroy the Grail (Ironically enough if Saber had worked with Kiritsugu and accepted the boost of the command seal rather than rejecting them the Grail would have been destroyed)

I wonder how things would change if you showed Kerry the future

Darkwing Duck
He-Man
Powerpuff Girls
TMNT
Talespin/Duck Tales
Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog or SatAM
Reboot

...I guess what I'm trying to say is childhood is important.

In that case we might as well blame Norikata for his research causing the situation in which Kiritsugu was handed the gun to end him, thus laying the first paving stones in the path of the machine called "Magus Killer."

Could always use Worms I guess.

It's kind of impressive how similar Kiritsugu and Arturia really are. They're both autistic idiots who ruin everything they touch by slotting themselves into a pointless role that nobody ever asked them to fill and then trying way too hard to fix everything personally and then blaming themselves when it inevitably fails.

It's no wonder they hate each other so much.

This might be heresy or something, but, I really don't like what Urobuchi did with Fate/Zero.

>who ruin everything they touch
Did you miss the whole part about her turning Camelot into a legendary kingdom before it fell to a psychotic homunculus, or do you just hate her?

Care to say why?

I will never use those worms on anyone. Ever.

>They're both autistic idiots who ruin everything they touch by slotting themselves into a pointless role that nobody ever asked them to fill and then trying way too hard to fix everything personally
Sound familiar?

MY HATEBONER IS CANON

There's a fanfic about that.

Still, how autist (or just outright insane) do you need to be to just... decide the best way to help people is by killing other people, and NEVER EVEN ONCE stop to think about ANY other possible path in life?

Urobuchi has a terrible tendency to make events happen seemingly for the sole purpose of saying, "Characters being happy? The fucking kinda crack are you on?"

Speaking of Fate- what sort of stuff can Alteration magecraft do? Are the changes it makes to properties/effects permanent, or do I have to supply the changes with energy to keep them active?

True. What you should really hate her for is her insistence that she needs to go back and fix her fucking golden age, undoing fifteen hundred years of human progression. Camelot did just fine, and while it fell it inspired the British people to become one of the greatest nations in the world. You fucking won, stop trying to get a do-over.

Oh fuck off. The opposite it true much more, where events happen just to cause a happy ending.

Yours don't have to be penis allegories, user. Or painful if you actually try to minimize the suffering of those you empower. Remember, Zouken actively enjoyed the pain he caused to others. Even something as simple as designing your Worms to feed on outside sources would help a lot.

>In an interview Nasu told Urobuchi to tone down his edge with sakura
I am still surprised he wrote Gargantia

I won't deny that, but, that's not very good either.

People give her shit about that a lot, but doesn't she see the error of her ways in Stay Night when people actually talk to her and stuff, as opposed to previous wars where she was likely just summoned, used as a weapon, lost and then came back for next time?

Not him but I thought that all came from the worms being a failed experiment at immortality and each having chunks of magus soul in them.
