Anyone else annoyed by the time jump aspect of AoS?

Like the world blows up. Fine, change the setting. But why the need for 'Age of Myth' and 'Age of Chaos'.

That's very important backstory that is just casually dropped in. For the longest time I thought that the age of myth was the old times... but apparently there have been 3 time skips since the setting changed.

It would be so much better if we go from A to B, so we can contrast it.

Instead we start at A, hear about B, C and D and then start at E.

Why, it give depth to the setting to have three ages.
It show the "cyclic" nature of the ages in all Warhammer settings (like Horus Heresy / 40k).

They will flesh out this aspect of the story, it gives them more options too (remember how the Horus heresy was one paragraph < what he have now).
