Obligatory Dark Eldars have no named HQ units shitpost
Obligatory Vect is fucking dead shitpost
Alexander Roberts
Whatever it is, I don't think getting cucked by a smurf is part of the plan.
James Adams
Why does he wear the helmet?
Blake Richardson
Raise Guilliman's kids.

>Be 40k fan >Go to 40k lore reddit looking to discuss the great lore of our beloved science fantasy setting >Sub is full of soyboys who want female Spess Mehreenz

Spears or blades and shield on plastic guard? >inb4 fists
Cameron Harris
getting vored by slaanesh
Gavin Howard
To be cucked by Guilliman until he falls to chaos and ruin everyone's else shit
Brody Richardson
1 shield and the rest spear or axes.
Michael Brown
Reposting: I'm in a bit of a pickle. I've been looking for a name for muh spessul snowflakes made of NL loyalists and DA after the Thramas Crusade, but I can't find anything that suits me.
Sons of Nyx and Knights Noctis were suggested but I'm open to other suggestions.
In the meantime you can also roll and paint a Muhreen.
Grayson Sanders
How many pots of nuln oil were used to paint this model?
James Edwards
Auto pass leadership vexcilia and all the conscripts
Wyatt Wright
I'm playing mono custodes You mean one shield per unit? I'm running 2 units of 3 and a unit of 4
Jayden Parker
Just realised Guilliman has an 'i' before the Ls. I thought it was spelt Gulliman without that i. Doesn't make the name seem any less retarded tho, although Roboute is worse, if I'm even spelling that right
Xavier Price
I just looked out of curiosity and all I see is decent paint jobs. Maybe I haven't dug far enough, I'm in the normal Warhammer 40k reddit. I don't really know how the site works.
Aiden Jenkins
It's your army and you will never be actually happy with the name unless you come up with it yourself.
Aiden Stewart
It's sad how 90% of them look the same
Levi Hughes
Yes, one shield per unit to take all the big hits with. Seems like the best way to go about it.
Carter Lopez

Mason Ortiz
>what if tau were found in 30k times? would they be able to put up a fight? > Big E would've probably made use of pulse weaponry and the T'au tech, or given them wholesale to the Mechanicum confirmed for not knowing any lore
nah that's a half decent subreddit, he's talking about the 40k lore one.
Jayden Reyes
You need to check your vision if they look the same to you. Marines are one of the most customizable armies in 40k for a reason.
Levi Peterson
After this got posted last thread I can’t stop seeing pic
>wake up to tyranid invasion >beam into the middle of their hive ship >jump down behind swarmlord >”Hello there”
John James
Battalion of bananas with no flag or vanguard of wardens with flag?
I'm trying to minimize purchases so valoris Guard box Warden box
If I had one more model it would be perfect for the battalion but they are hard to come by in singles
William Cooper
Oh cool you changed one helmet for another one and a shoulderpad with a slightly different aesthetic!
Wyatt Richardson
Putting up strawmen for others to wail on is pretty commonplace now on the 4chin.
Logan Smith
>Muh red with three golden dots instead of 4 golden dots
Brandon Myers
Does this, in combination with the ad-mech knight mean that the "battle for mars" Necrons vs Admech box set is really coming?
Ryder Cooper
To make Crimson Fists very angry.
Camden Morris
Many of those chapters are fluffed out well enough for them to have their own culture. Just because I couldn't find pictures that fit my autism for the chart doesn't mean you can't make them represent that culture.
Asher Wilson
It isn't too bad, but the issue is very similar to here where people don't really read and contaminate the actual lore with their headcanon, things they've heard (was retconned) or blatant Text-to-speach-cartoon idiocy.
Evan King
Learn ur meta. As is I’m generally running swords because I’m not facing much T6 or T5, and until I get enough for a full army the 5++ isn’t that great. However if you’re facing guard or any T3 wounding on 2+ is nice for spears, and the shooting is a nice bump to boot, especially since they’re cheaper.
There’s arguments for both, but basically once you’re playing with the codex I see no reason to use sword/board unless you’re facing absolute loads of AP-2 with high damage to go with it.
I thought there was supposed to be some animosity there.
Adrian Smith
Any decent tournament won't allow this and either disqualify the guy or pull the models off the table so your point is moot.
Gavin Reed
I thought the Beast was a massive lore fail though.
Adam Bailey
>That Manticore missile rack Hahaha, nah man It's just a S4 mortar
David Cooper
The tau were found in the 31st millennium and were spear chucking savages at the time
Jack Jenkins
Only have an shitty sitcom pic on me, but my desert sort of color scheme looks pretty nice on the table. It’s easy to get and goes really well with the gold, silvers, reds, and cabling look of Admech, as well as preserving the baroque thing that some brighter colors don’t do.
Whatever you do, make your own. Don’t get stuck with one particular subfaction, Admech is literally one of the best /urdoods/ armies around
John Rivera
Of course. On the contrary, there are many instances of the two bring very happy to work together, BT always respect the IF by virtue of being direct sons of Dorn.
Matthew Scott
Their arms are limited as fuck have kind of groves on them that makes them slot into the shoulder sockets. I've spent the last few hours cutting up spare custodes arms to get these fuckers to hold their axes with two hands. And the fact that the legs and torso are fused together doesn't help.
Jacob Lewis
there is but not any more than the usual distrust between the bt and literally anyone else. they just dont like that the IF were sheeple.
how so? big ass ork comes in and fucks up the IF. IF successors unite together as a legion and eventually through the power of friendship he dies. prime orks like the beast have popped up before in the fluff. horus kills one during the GC.
Connor Sanchez
There is even more animosity between the Space Wolves and the Dark Angels and that doesn't stop them from working together, and they are both not sons of Dorn.
Connor Lopez
I know this. that was the top comment in the thread, followed by a bunch of dudes talking about how cool battlesuits are.
Julian Thompson
>What k
Camden Parker
Preorders are up in US bitches! Custodes and 1kys both
I quite like brass as the main overall color. Feels steampunky.
Liam Sanders
So what if I had both IF and BT painted models in the same detachment and used different chapter tactics depending on which model was the warlord?
Kayden Watson
>TLOS is fine >Nobody ever abuses it >Thank god we got rid of the anti-narrative LOS rules
Nicholas Adams
You are right.
Jeremiah Fisher
The sad thing about this is if he had removed the side laser targeters, made some tripod legs out of leftover shaved down sprue, and actually put guys on the bases those would be fine.
Jonathan Cook
I have to say, I feel a bad trend in the new GW models. They claim to be poseable and multiparts and whatever, but at the end of the day the Torso and legs are fused together and in truth the options are limited through means Kiel you've just described. It's a shame really. DG, Primaris, Necromancer, Custodes, they all have that problem and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.
The fact that the new models are less poseable and convertible than ancient models is really pissing me off.
Jason Sullivan
Talk with your opponent about it.
Nicholas Ortiz
I see, I bought a box myself and I will give em fists and flamers for 30k.
I wonder if I'm going to wait and no glue on the cloak before painting. I don't know yet.
Cooper Parker
Why would you even want to? Like what purpose would it serve? Just take two squads if 5, you get another champ and double the weapon slots. DG don't derive any benefit from taking large squads.
Angel Green
Don't glue the cloak before painting. I was retarded and glued several model on their bases with their cloaks on, and now I can't do shit but despair at the fact that parts of the cloak is completely unteachable.
Jacob Morgan
Does anyone have the lists from the LVO, best coast pairings app is not working for me. Specifically looking for Ben Mohlie's Ork list. I heard it did relatively well (well in the top 50s, good for a non codex army)
Oliver Rogers
40klore sub is decent but holy fuck they gargle Marine/Primarch cock like they're paid for it.
Adam Hughes
Indeed, that's what I almost did. Thanks for the warning, for what its worth.
Cameron Butler
t. Inquisitor Nathan
Lincoln Martinez
What do you guys think of this as a Custodes color scheme? Blue, Black and Silver.
Blake Mitchell
My bros.
Cooper Lopez
Obi-Wan is the best thing about the prequels, and better than anything in the sequels. He's not some wanked-over chosen one or overplayed bad boy, he's just some dude that's chill and very competent at his job.
Kevin Gomez
Fucking Guardfags.
Lucas Cook
I was mostly joking around. I enjoy the sub a lot most of the time. But jesus christ whenever female marines get mentioned, someone mentions Archwarhammer or someone starts a "what's your unpopular opinion?" thread the soy fucking rains in fist sized droplets.
Angel Turner
>Marines are one of the most customizable armies in 40k for a reason.
They are literally the army with the most standardized look ? Only Necron are maybe more dry, but that's on purpose.
Hell... Chaos, Orks, Guard have way more vartiety and kitbashing opportunites than spess murhines.
Angel Ward
wait till they shill him in his new movie user
Gavin Flores
Did you use superglue or plastic glue?
Charles Torres
Custard Codex when?
Xavier Sanchez
The only fail was the Harlequins somehow showing up, carving up bananas like they were making smoothies, and getting into the Imperial Palace just to say "hey yeah so we know Orks are breaching Terra literally right now, but remember that they are just NPCs and the true threat is Chaos, kthxbye". Reeks of insecure "can't have any of these uppity Xenos upstage muh Chaos" wankery. Everything else is dope.
