If the Chaos Gods are an inherent part of the fabric of the UNIVERSE why are they so fixated on just the Milky Way galaxy?

The are an inherent PART of the universe, they aren't THE universe. In the same way the Galaxy is part of the universe, but it isn't everywhere either.

The Warp likely only extends in the Galaxy, as the Galaxy is where sentient beings are.

As seen, the Tyranids bring the shadow of the warp with their hivemind that also comes from them.

They are inherent part of the universe, powered to their current might locally in the Milky Way due to large amount of sentient species here.

It's kinda like asking why gravity keeps you on earth if it exists elsewhere.

How the fuck is it at all like that

>stories written by humans that prominently feature humans just so happen to have everything related to humans as so important that everyone is fixated on the humans and their locale

Why did they replace slaanesh in picture?

What part are you not getting?

>The warp is a inherent feature of the universe.
>Sentient beings empower Chaos gods locally
>Chaos gods are locally empowered in the Milky Way

>Gravity is inherent part of the universe
>large congregations of mass exert large gravity
>gravity is felt strongly near large amounts of mass

>If the Chaos Gods are an inherent part of the fabric of the UNIVERSE

Oh look. It’s 40kids being delusional again.

Realm of souls in the 40k universe may or may not be a universal constant but the chaos gods as depicted in-setting are just the brainforce of sapient creatures able to physically interact with the material plane.

Chaos has jack shit on the horrors that are redshift decay and entropy.

Cool, and if I go to the Andromeda galaxy, gravity would be the same. Not the same with Chaos

If you would manage to transfer massive populations of sentient beings into the Andromeda galexy it probably would. The point the guy is trying to make you understand is, that Chaos God activity is not an inherent feature of certain locale in space, but the result of the specific circumstances of this locale.

Or in an even easier metaphor: The whole universe is seeded with chaos, but only when the conditions are right does it grow into a flower.

So the 40k universe is confirmed to be mostly devoid of life beyond the Milky Way?

No we just haven't explored other parts, Tyranids come from outside the Milky Way and seem to have brought their own thing in the warp with them.

I have no idea, I like both pics so I'm not complaining.

no one cares you boring cunt

Kairos Fateweaver's backstory mentions Tzeentch travelling to the centre of the Universe.

He's lying. The universe has no center.

Assuming it has dimensions, it will have a center., though yeah, that center will move as the dimensions change

So he went to where the center of the universe was at the time he went obviously.
Pretty sure there's a supermassive black hole there, at least that's the popular theory.

You're thinking of the center of the galaxy

the center of the universe is most likely empty void

>thinking of the center of the galaxy
Ah shit I was too

No it literally has no centre. You can map the universe in which case you will be in the centre of the map, but the universe has no physical centre it expanded from.

Imagine each god having countless faces and each face directed towards a different setting.
each galaxy has possibly the protagonist of its own story and to each story chaos appears in a relative light to it.

It's a completely meta approach, but it's the only approach that makes sense with the scope of chaos.

They're not, you just can't tell they're fixated on anything else because it's not brought up.

>If the Chaos Gods are an inherent part of the fabric of the UNIVERSE
they aren't. They're just reflections of what the living things in the milky way are feeling. The warp is calm away from the galaxy, and the chaos gods' domain doesn't extend there.

take a sphere. Which point on the sphere's surface is that surface's centre?
Now add a dimension.

Is this a stealth-you mama so fat jokes thread?

>They're just reflections of what the living things in the milky way are feeling.
Except 10x as edgy for no good reason.

You wouldn't describe a 3-dimensional space as a having a "surface" that was not also its "limits"

>lol, you can't find the center of a n-dimensional object if n > 2 and I ask you to find the center of the n-1 property!

You're suck a fucking faggot

They are a reflection of mostly negative emotions.

The main reason the science folks state (and are probably correct) about the universe having no center is that the universe is expanding outward in every direction relative to you as an observer.

A theory that we have yet to prove given how stuck we currently are at our current point of view.

the point is more that the 2d surface loops back on itself rather than having a defined edge.

We don't need to be able to see past our very limited view of the observable universe as long as we know that universal expansion is occurring. If some center (for any definition of center) of the universe exists, it would change our science drastically overnight.

Are you implying the Universe is a 2d surface?

>as we know that universal expansion is occurring
Which you think we do?

Nah we can just throw everything out and sit there with our linkin park t-shirts and go 'nope, it's all bullshit man, the universe isn't expandin like teacher says so' and collect some contrarian points.

kk, just so we're clear

Maybe the Old Ones and War in Heaven participants just really fucked up and opened a direct wound leaving a giant warp zone that is easy access for chaos gods.

And all the other galaxies are less fucked up and made up of advanced races or human colonies who fought off the Tyranids and shit (like robots in their case to explain why their biomass wasn't destroyed).

>tfw the 40k galaxy is just Space Detroit to the rest of the utopian or noblebright universe who views us with disgust and never contacts us primitives, but only dump random trash that we view as amazing archaeotech or relics.

>nids are coming because they're simply being flea bombed to us
>they are merely a nuisance to the rest of the universe

Realspace is the 3-surface of what is probably a 4-sphere but be hyperbolic or toroidal (and theoretically "could" be flat but let's be real, omega does not = 0)

>why are they so fixated on just the Milky Way galaxy?

Who says they are? They're making in roads there, but not necessarily just there.

>Assuming it has finite dimensions
ftfy

i think you mean
>omega does not = 1

in which case, you're 99.6% likely to be wrong

That's where the souls are dude.

Tyranids already ate every other galaxy.

If they had done so, there is absolutely no reason they haven't rolled over the Milky Way already

It takes a long time to get to the Milky Way from the edges of the universe.

You underestimate how batshit nuts our galaxy is. Our galaxy is like humans in an HFY story.

There's a reason the Nids saved us for last.

They aren't. It just seems that way because every single character is from the Milky Way galaxy and all the action takes place there.

Maybe other galaxies have other forms of intelligent life, and so other chaos gods.

cunningly done. 9/10.

When chaos was retconed to have always existed in all universes at all times they didn't consider the implications

They are not. The Chaos Gods are simultaneously invading and corrupting many realities and universes.

Tyranids only ate 12 galaxies before coming to the Milky Way.

He as thrown into the Well of Eternity, not the center of the universe.

It seems that this thread is full of lore nabs.

It wasn't rectonned, dum dum. Since forever Chaos was said to be omnipresent across the multiverse. This is why Newfags like you should be driven off from hobbies. Why don't Newgfags ever learn?

98% sure that extract is from a WD which just utter desperation on your part.

It is and if you got a problem with it I got other sources from novels and codexes, you bitch.

>you bitch.
Lol yep I could smell the desperation through the screen. Who even tries to pull that shit? Especially if you have 'other sources' lmao.

Not an argument. You did not say why you are objecting to this source and just throwing the word "desperation". In essence you are being a bitch. Now clarify your position.

What type of autism do you have?

Mister bitch, ducked the question. What a big surprise.

I feel like tards on the net should have handlers like they have in school. This was the tard wranglers could stop posters like this.

Wow you are that much of a coward, eh?

>They are not. The Chaos Gods are simultaneously invading and corrupting many realities and universes.
That's cool. Now are those real or imaginary and exist solely in the warp?

Real. For example, WHFB and AoS universes.

Also Archaon traveled across realities and destroyed universes.

Good point. They`re probably invading each others dimentions without even realizing.

That's stupid. You are stupid.

>Also Archaon traveled across realities and destroyed universes.
And got beaten down by an Ork's headbutt.

AoS fluff is silly. Grimgor iz da best.

Grimgork is alos shit.
They dropped the ball as a whole with storm of chaos.
