Life Fiber transformations are pretty rad; immersing yourself in a tide of overwhelming primal power and then pulling it back so you stay lucid is a hell of a rush. And liable to freak any onlookers right the fuck out, which can be useful in select cases. Mundanes tend to see it as a whirlwind of raw meat and teeth, but those with more exotic awareness can perceive the magical-girl-bodyhorror in its full sparkly glory.

It's both. Most of the time we see it from Ryuuko and Senketsu's point of view, pic related. It's still pretty visceral, but not messy. In episode 2, before they fight Hakodate, we see what it looks like from Hakodate and Sanageyama's perspective, which is almost as horrific as when Ryuuko and Senketsu go berserk the first time they fight Nui.

Lesser uniforms don't have the horror factor, but they're just that: lesser. If you want Kamui-level power, you better get over your squeamishness.

I'd rule it's able to, but since it's effectively separated from the main DG collective its rate of self-evolving would be slower than the Devil Gundam's, but not that slow at all considering the DG's manic rate. They're effectively incapable of controlling you.
I'd say yes, given time, but you'd have to use the UG Cells to fix the DG Cells' malfunction that caused it to become the Devil Gundam Cells. Just have to put time into it, since they're essentially still attempting to attain their end-goal of restoring Earth, just taking a much more genocidal and final approach to the issue of humanity damaging it.

I'm not sure I should, at least not until it ends. The way the format seems to work means that something new will be added to the setting/story every other week basically, so any jump would need updating within a month.
