If being an untouchable is an genetic thing (ie the pariah gene) couldn't you get the blood from untouchables to make Daemon-proof weapons and armour?
Couldn't you get Untouchable Foetuses and suck the delicious Untouchable stem cells out of them to make anti-Daemon paint that you could just apply to walls, floors and the hulls of starships?
Hell, just get untouchables to make regular blood donations and you have an infinitely renewable Daemon Poison.
Could it even work? If it can, why hasn't it been done?
Christian Martinez
trips and dubs, holy shit
Jeremiah Martinez
Incredibly hard to reproduce. I don't think it is as much a breedable/inherent trait. But a fluke that can happen in certain genetic lines. Since very few people would want to have sex with an untouchable, since they make your skin crawl and make people queasy
Jaxson Evans
>If being an untouchable is an genetic thing (ie the pariah gene) couldn't you get the blood from untouchables to make Daemon-proof weapons and armour? It's a genetic thing that affects the soul.
Blood doesn't have a soul.
This is like saying use psyker blood to get psyker weapons. Doesn't really work too well.
But, go ahead and try it, might work well enough to kill something.
Jacob Bailey
As rare as untouchables almost.
Jonathan Harris
>Blood doesn't have a soul.
If you can paint yourself with SoB blood to make yourself invisible to daemon nanomachines, you can take pariah blood and banish daemons.
Daniel Taylor
>Could it even work? No.
If nothing else, there's the issue that Pariahs aren't immune to being shot - daemons might not be able to see them, but that doesn't mean their followers can't, or that if a stray sword-swipe hits them they won't die.
For the "body parts/fluids" aspect, it's an untouchable's soul that makes them work - outside the connection to the soul, it's just blood, not anti-daemon poison. The only reason blessed blood works is because it's surrounded by and absorbing psychic energy - the exact opposite of what would happen for pariah blood.
Ryan Torres
What happens if you put male untouchable and female untpouchable together?
Julian Ross
Double Dubs Truth
Eli Johnson
Grey knights doing hidden khornate rituals to protect themselves from demons isn't going to work for blood that supposedly stops demons from attacking you.
Dominic Cooper
They don't touch each other.
Duh
Brayden Adams
Just a fuckton of teasing then?
Zachary Morgan
They have no soul because of their DNA? If you took pariah cum into a bullet and shot slanesh in the ass, i'm sure it wouldn't tickle, no homo.
Kevin Garcia
Didn't Eisenhorn want to bone an Untouchable?
Brody Baker
Because it's the job of any rad inquisitor to bone everything that hasn't been boned yet. EVERYTGING. Duh
Michael White
Nothing since blanks don't have more blank children than regular people.
Easton King
Do other untouchables feel the aura of wierdness?
Could you set up an untouchable planet with a stable demon population? It'd be invisible to most enemies, have zero risk of demonic incursion, and if they don't skeeve each other out they could be relatively "happy"
Christian Murphy
I read somewhere about a tome in the Black Library made from the skin of a pariah so the warp can't corrupt the book
Alexander Lopez
Schizophrenia has a strong gentic link, you would not go mad if you got a blood transfusion from one.
Asher Sanchez
Clearly not. Its not in the game or lore.
Alexander Murphy
Don't listen to the morons above.
Pariahs body parts still carry the Pariah effect to an extent.
Giving some examples, Imperium Ordos Xenos vessels fire torpedoes filled with ashes of pariah persons at Aledari vessels to disable their psychic shielding and systems. Also Fabius Bile loads his Needler with the biological fluids of pariahs when he fights daemons. Daemons shot by Needles fielded with Pariah extract have their bodies dissolving.
Also Drach'nyen after murdering the SoS found that even their dead bodies held no satisfaction. They had no taste at all.
Daniel Bell
>Could you set up an untouchable planet What? >with a stable demon population? What? >It'd be invisible to most enemies What?
Julian Price
He wanted to. But could not.
Samuel Kelly
They don't. There is no " stable demon population". Unless they are blind, it's still visible.
Charles Wright

>This is like saying use psyker blood to get psyker weapons. Doesn't really work too well. THE DARK ELDAR WOULD BEG TO DIFFER
MANY OF THEIR ARTIFACTS ARE MADE OUT OF DEAD PSYKERS
>Blood doesn't have a soul.
THEN WHY IS IT UBIQUITOUSLY USED TO SUMMON DAEMONS OR REPEL THEM OR BLESS OR CURSE STUFF? OR TO MAKE BLOOD ANGELS WHO ARE IMBUED WITH A PORTION OF THEIR PRIMARCH'S MEMORY FOR THAT MATTER?
BLOOD IS USED AS PSYCHIC FUEL ALL THE FUCKING TIME
NOT EVEN NECESSARILY PSYKER BLOOD
Carson Miller
Pretty sure I remember reading about psyk-out grenades being made out of dead psykers, so you don't even need pariahs to make those weapons
Camden Cox
In the case of those grenades, aren't they essentially psychically drained psyker bodies?
Wyatt Brooks
Reminder that it's official fluff that women are more likely to be soulless than men.
Matthew Ortiz
>Caps lock everywhere Is it the SoS equivalent of yelling ?
Joshua Morris
>BLOOD IS USED AS PSYCHIC FUEL ALL THE FUCKING TIME
Besides fucking ALLCAPS ... this is mostly due to the symbolic nature of bloodletting. You actually have to hurt or kill some living being so that the blood 'counts', blood packs from a donor bank don't count (unless the blood was drawn under gruesome circumstances maybe). Same with Dark Eldar, they are all about the suffering ... psyker souls simply resonate better in the Warp and their body parts most likely get suffused with all the suffering inflicted, making them potent artifacts ... like pain batteries.
Jaxson Ortiz
I think it'd turn into something akin to zookeepers trying to get pandas to mate.
Ethan Bennett
>BLOOD IS USED AS PSYCHIC FUEL ALL THE FUCKING TIME
Sometimes not even as psychic.
Robert Smith
I guess. I mean, if Grey Knights can get bonus faith points for smearing Ecclesiarchal blood on themselves, it's pretty fair to assume you could get extra magic resistance from Culexus blood.
Xavier Gutierrez
If you somehow introduced the Pariah Gene to Ork spores, would that destroy the entire race since their innate affinity for building shit, growing big and strong, and even congregating comes from latent psychic ability?
Brody Wilson
Blood sorcery tends to summon daemons, not banish them.
Colton Morales
You'd have to introduce it into every single ork in the galaxy and at that point might as well just hit them with a flamer, it's cheaper.
Caleb Reyes
She was hot enough to partially overcome the subconscious bad Pariah impression.
Ayden Cooper
How would you "introduce the Pariah Gene to Ork spores"? Ork biology is inherently self-correcting in the extreme. If you don't contribute to the Waagh effect, that makes you unorky and if you're unorky, you get krumped out of the gene pool.
Blake Morgan
Blood doesn't work. You have to use the brain juice.
Jeremiah Ramirez
>What happens if you put male untouchable and female untouchable together? There are two levels of anti-warp:
1) Blanks/Nulls. They have the Pariah gene in a recessive form. They have no soul to speak of, and a calming/nulifying effect on the warp. A human near one feels uncomfortable, and a pysker near one feels like they've been stabbed in both eyes. Generally they end up as outcasts in whatever societies they come from. Examples include Jurgen and Bequin.
2) Pariahs. They have the Pariah gene in its fully active form. They have a howling vortex of negative-energy where a soul should be. A human simply being near one feels an unstoppable hatred and fear of them, so most get killed by their parents immediately after birth. Pyskers get it even worse, feeling their soul being slowly pulled from their bodies. As with positive pyskers, with training they can learn to control their powers and get even more terrifying. Examples include Culexus Assassins and Necron Pariahs.
So if two Blanks have a child, the baby is likely going to be a Pariah. And this is likely where most Pariahs come from, as blank parents would be immune to their soul-sucking and so you wouldn't get the "killed in the crib" issue.
Julian Smith
Years of passionate ambivalence.
Grayson Cox
Why hasn't the imperium forcibly collected thousands of pariahs/blanks and given them their own planet where they can freely breed and produce more powerful weapons for the crusade against the warp?
Matthew Myers
Double edged sword. No telling if Warp travel to and from said planet would even be possible if you gather such a large number of them.
Cooper Young
there aren't enough pariahs and the imperium doesn't really have an organisation capable of it. As well as the culexus temple, various organisations gather pariahs and blanks for various reasons: the inquisition is a common employer iirc.
Jose Robinson
>>Tfw no Blank focused game where you get to play a Culexus and fluster sisters of silence with inappropriate flirting
Liam Richardson
Source? It makes sense, but I just thought they all were the same.
Zachary Kelly
>They have a howling vortex of negative-energy where a soul should be.
If you get enough of them together, could you potentially create an anti-warp? Perhaps even anti-warp gods, and anti-warp demons?
William Bennett
If you could, the Necrons would have done it already.
Justin Wilson
>plasma weapons use blood plasma Out of all the retarded thing printed by GW, this is in the top ten.
because blankness and psychic powers aren't unheritable.
Aiden Young
It wouldn't tickle but it also wouldn't make Slaanesh have an allergic reaction, either.
Liam Turner
I think they just add some blood of martyrs into the mix. Like having ashes of a loved one squeezed into diamonds.
David Fisher
>because blankness and psychic powers aren't unheritable The Pariah gene can be inherited. From the 7th edition SoS minidex : >Wherever the Sisters of Silence sought out new lives, they were hounded into exile once more by those that hated them for their intrinsic otherness. Still, not all were reviled or burned as witches. The offspring of these few had children of their own, and over the generations, the genetic peculiarity of the Silent Sisterhood found its way further into the vast spread of the human race.
Robert Torres
Fabius Bile would do that, the fucking mad man
Hudson Hill
mutations are inheritable, why not psyker mutations?
Nicholas Lewis
I just call it a full house
Elijah Barnes
I think the Newcrons are mostly worried about trying to turn back into Necrontyr and don't care very much about the Warp. They seem to see it more as an annoying reminder of how gay the Old Ones were than anything else.
Although, Trazyn did show up on Cadia during the 13th Black Crusade, so at least one Necron is still interested in shitting on Chaos.
Wyatt Martin
>Why hasn't the imperium forcibly collected thousands of pariahs/blanks They have: it's called the Culexus Temple of assassins.
Blanks crop up randomly and are incredibly rare, estimated at around one in a billion humans. So on a planet of 2 billion you might have two blanks on different continents, enslaved or working menial jobs where they don't have to interact with other people much. And the most likely way to get a Pariah is if those two blanks somehow manage to meet and have a child.
Plus, it's not 100% genetics. As with all warp-thingys there's a mystical component that refuses to act scientifically/predictably.
And then after you've done all that the Necrons turn up and abduct the kid to put his brain in a robot.
Gavin Wilson
Well to be fair shitting on things for kicks is pretty much what Trazyn does all the time.
Sebastian Phillips
>mutations are inheritable Nope. If mutations were stable, they would be abhumans. You can be a mutant with eyestalks, and your children will be covered with scales. Chaos is fun like that.
Landon Russell
>It'd be invisible to most enemies Literally only to daemons and the non-physical senses of psykers. A regular-ass non-psychic could still see their asses and shoot them without any issue.
Jordan Harris
Aside from the fact that they're stupidly rare, there's also the whole "constantly radiate an aura of wrongness that ranges from 'uncomfortable' to 'homicidal rage inducing' from birth" thing. Those few that survive to be found usually get snatched up to become Culexus assassins.
Ryder Edwards
There is probably some old AdMech book by some magos biologis labeled "Black Day Protocol" that describes a way to change Pariah gene into dominant trait in populations of whole worlds through use of virus agents. This book sits in some old and very secure repository that could be opened only with explicit permission from both AdMech and High Lords of Terra - for to use this book means to rob the humanity of stars.
Kayden Lee
>Plasma weapons use blood plasma
You're joking, right? Those are two different types of plasma. This is the most retarded thing I've heard come 40k and that's saying something.
Kayden Long
Harem animes are blank colonies.
Matthew Baker
This would actually be in keeping with the stupidity of the rest of 40ks fluff.
Robert Cook
>Those are two different types of plasma That's why this idea is hilarious and I will totally use it in my next Dark Heresy game.
Wyatt Rivera
>that could be opened only with explicit permission from both AdMech and High Lords of Terra Might as well say it doesn't fucking exist
Isaiah Watson
yeah, he loved bequin and when she was away from him he could have it in his head that he wants to fuck her. When he saw her in person he was revolted and she made his skin crawl, but he was polite enough to hide that.
Nolan Fisher
Poison made from blank blood
Fabius Vile: Primogenitor book
"The daemon screamed as the poison took effect. (...) The solution tore the entity apart from the inside, unbinding the strange matter that made up its form. Kanathara droped its blades and tore at itself, ripping chunks from its dissolving flesh as if to dig out the infection. It stumbled on melting hooves, almost dancing in its agonies."
Cooper Richardson
>You're joking, right?
Yes, he is. The WD article on them says that they mix blood of martyrs with prometheum. Exact mix is not given, I suspect very small amounts, if at all, just so they can advertise it as being somehow more sacrosanct and thus powerful.
