As the God of Mystery build (with Machine Empathy and Open Mind), here's some vague elaboration on my build and comments on the setting:

She does seem to be firmly in the "Chaotic Good" camp - she's trying to help people, but doesn't listen to people unless she sees an explicit reason why they know better. One of my goals would be to actually get her to listen to other people for once.

Again, she's not really 'evil' so much as 'over-relied on'. That's why I picked her as my mentor and waifu, so we both have someone who can double-check each other's work. Also, if one of us gets compromised, the other can jump back and fix things.

>The Voice
For balance's sake, I take it to mean anyone with multiple Psi and/or mental enhancements is at least mostly immune, and someone who also has actual discipline (like Tyrael) can shrug it off long enough to just stab the user.

>Omega Psi
It seems much more powerful overall than any other way to spend 700 years, but there are little bits and pieces (like my Machine Empathy + Open Mind) that it can't really copy without several lifetimes of dedicated work - and that few enough of the gods have that they're more useful.

This is a... nuanced portfolio. Unless Verendi has any better ideas to do it, I'd mostly use my multidimensional Machine Empathy to be a deific Wizard of Oz, making tech that's 100% unknowable by mortals.
The actual purpose I'd serve is to just make my portfolio known - try to get people to keep the fact that they may not know everything in the back of their minds, helping them be humbler and empathic. To that end, I'd mostly show up following an inscrutiable (and only partially random) pattern, mostly just looking at things.

First off, Omega includes a souped-up Delta, which means that I could get Elpseth to awaken more Gamma in me than just a regular Delta user could. Beyond that, I'd (ab)use technology to do shit like mimic Angelic Form and improve upon the pod technology.

My initial theory is that she's an empowered person largely like us, whether from an unaccounted-for 2000-year pod with an unintuitive form of Omega, a Chrononaut with immortality and 1500 years of practice with her (Gamma?) psi, or some other type of (knock-off?) pod. Regardless, being from (roughly) our era would nicely explain both her power and atheism. Needless to say, I wouldn't go doing anything rash unless I knew for sure, but that's something to test after I develop countermeasures to her future sight.

There can never be enough space colonization CYOA. Currently in the process of making one. Main gist is to have up to three different generations of colonists to distant worlds. Every generation sent is more technologically advanced up to full transhumanism. However, the previous generations have mutated/evolved and potentially advanced their civilization (or been destroyed/enslaved by aliens). You get to choose whether you are a part of the colonization, or a descendant of one of the earlier generations.

Is it possible that there are more pods that Elspeth hasn't found or hasn't been able to recover yet? Imagine the old pantheon, after decades of consolidating their positions and finally eliminating the Dragon in an apocalyptic battle, find that somewhere along the line more pods were uncovered and activated, leading to multiple other immortals who weren't coached by them and are either ambivalent or outright hostile, like the ungrateful edgelords in the other thread

I said last thread, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are more. It could be a system like the colonial ship where 99% of the pods can only be opened by people outside, aka the 1% who opened on time. We just don't know how many pods there are and what settings they have.

Having autistically dug straight for the overpowered omega psi, my initial goals are twofold: (1) Figure out how to genesis the various drugs and vices the world has (had) to offer and (2) figure out how to create a demiplane to put a bar/whorehouse/casino. Work with my allies to figure out how to best help the gods and humans unwind. Nothing get's people to warm up to their gods like having a massive drinking contest between all the mortals and immortals! (Of course mister "oh no, we shouldn't let the kids try heroin" would rain on my parade.) Once I've gotten that figured out, my plan is to find the fallen one and Vice it into complacency, so we could have a chance to rebuild its broken psyche. Perhaps dig backwards in time to find the poor creature's mind from before it was trapped in its prison and effectively revert it... But that would be the longest term goal, pacifying it would be the short term answer.

Would be willing to help me create the demiplane of blackjack and hookers? I promise nothing quite keeps humans thinking they don't know everything like certain mind expanding substances!

Bro you only get 1000 years for the Cure Mortality mission. Because the machine has to keep you alive so long and turn you immortal, it can only devote 50% of the time you are asleep (2000 years) to giving you augs.

So, my idea has God of Law is pretty much to establish rules for both normal humans and us. Basically simple stuff like "don't go full old testament and kill everyone", and other things to make sure the relationship between everyone goes smoothly, this also includes the Apostate. As for the Fallen One, i'd hope to get Elspeth to teach me Genesis for this one, or at the very least anti-Genesis, since having a huge fucking dragon going around seems like something that should be taken care of.
