Monstergirl Worldbuilding Thread

Porking the pig edition

Just like previous thread(s), post and discuss about anything MGE, MGQ or generally relating to the world building of a Monstergirl setting.

Previous thread: Sister /qst/ thread: Monster Girl Encylopedia Wiki: mgewiki.com/w/Main_Page

Question to start the thread: Of you rape an orc into submission, are you truly in charge or is it because her demonic energy possessed you to rape her?

Rules-light original homebrew

Is it a game where you’re a group of incorruptible female heroes seeking to destroy all monsters to save the human race?

It is both none of the two and both of the same time. It's Schrödinger's mindrape

god you people are pathetic.

>Q: Why do Centaurs have a second pussy? I'm fine with the one in the back, so I think this is a bit weird.
>A:Isn't it natural that lovers and married couples would like to have sex facing each other? Since the girls had this wish, a second set of genitalia grew.

So how exactly did this work? Did a centaur go to the Demon Lord one day and say "Hey I'd like a frontgina so I can have sex with my husbando in the missionary position" and she just waved her hand and said "so be it"?

Welcome to the board of Veeky Forums that enjoys playing make-believe, user. It's a grand old time, come embrace the sad existence everyone is on the ride for until we eventually slip into the grave and are forgotten by time and the few around us who remember our names.

>female heroes
No such thing. Only men can stand strong.

Says the animeposter

Ah shit, user's right. Women should hand in the right to vote, too easily swayed by propaganda.

>A glorified cheerleader
>A true hero
Nice try. Also this setting women turn into monsters just by being near monstergirls. And yes, judging by Sweden's current clusterfuck, women should be kept as far away from positions of power as possible

As far as a TTRPG, has anyone thought of doing a Apocalypse World/Monsterhearts/Dungeon World hack? I know that DW isn't popular here but I think it might be easier to do than a WH40K have or that homebrew that folks have going on.

Keep /pol/ in /pol/.

Oh bloody hell, I've been foiled! I sure hope nobody has an entire list of female heroes to see them all be decimated and destroyed to being worth nothing in the face of the objectively superior men who can always do everything better.

You're the one who tried to get political, dumbass

>to see them all be decimated and destroyed
Joan of Arc kinda did fail miserably to the point she got burned alive, you know

I'm not that user. I'm a third party that's here for Monster Girls, not degrading women.

>I'm here to objectify women, not degrade them!
Lol

>for Monster Girls
I can just hear the torches and pitchforks.

Hey now!
user might objectify Monsterboys too, everyone can enjoy some equal-opportunity objectification.
Also maybe some actual world building and the consideration of Monsters and their interactions with humanity and potential struggle against their own nature, but nobody fucking does that on this board.

What always happens is that anytime a hero team gets close to the demon lords castle is the female always turns and then attacks the man then drags him off to the demon lords castle and then joins the army

Sure I guess, then again that's if you and your players want to run that.

There is no interaction beyond "git raped lol". That's the entirety of the setting. It's why fetish based worldbuilding fucking sucks.

>TFW people hate on the Roper
>TFW they will never partake of joyous Communion
>The World attacked Her

It's only purely fetish-based rapefest if you make it a fetish-based rapefest. Or hell, maybe it is a fetish-based rapefest and you've got some people and Monsters who don't want it to be a fetish-based rapefest anymore so try to change that shit. Suddenly you've got the premise of a story there.

>No that is literally impossible! Stop liking things I don't like and trying to change them so I have less to bitch about! reeeeeeee!
Just ignore him, he's here to be mad about things and nothing will change that.

Basilisks are olev.

So if we remove the rape aspect from the setting (with the exception of maybe Succubi and such) then why would humans hate the Monsters beyond Xenophobia?

Well how else would you describe a setting where the main conflict is who you are getting raped by?

There is still corruption which plays the biggest part. Also this thread was supposed to move away from MGE but whatever

Human women would be jealous because monsters are better at pleasuring men.

The system for sure is, with options to make it more MGE if you want, but actually changing fluff and such is something to worry about later and also should be kinda just what people decide to make it. Gives everyone more freedom to set up the game they want.

The same as a setting where the main conflict is who you're going to get killed by. So many options for being surrounded by things actively hostile to you, in hot or cold war, or even uneasy peace.

And that's if you even keep the rape aspect. You're playing a TTRPG, GM's modify settings or make their own all the time. Make the setting your own, take out the rape and the corruption, build something better.

There's the same reasons nation states don't like each other beyond xenophobia: competition for resources, differing worldviews, etc.

> Also this thread was supposed to move away from MGE but whatever
The OP is pretty much exclusively about MGE. I'd like to get away from it too, but I'm not holding my breath.

You don't need everyone to hate everyone else in order to tell interesting stories.

>Move away from MGE
I'd like this as well, I think the description needs a new template to make it less MGE centric.
That being said I'm sure people will still continue to use MGE pages as pictures, so maybe that's a hope doomed to failure.

...

>That being said I'm sure people will still continue to use MGE pages as pictures, so maybe that's a hope doomed to failure.
There's nothing wrong with taking inspiration from specific parts of MGE. It's starting with the MGE setting as a whole and then trying to "fix" it that's doomed.

Purge yourself.

We also should put links to actual game systems directly in the OP. The way it is looks like this thread is exklusively for wanking.

I'm almost tempted to say OP is doing that on purpose, but a true shitposter would link the wiki with cringy RP on the front page.

Colour me intrigued:
What would you take, or take and modify, from the MGE setting besides the species of Monstergirl? What do you think are it's ideas with potential?

PROTIP: Hiding pornographic material behind spoilers is still a bannable offense!

Would you a snek Shigure?

That's not a bad plan, throw the homebrew rulebook on there, link to a few wikis besides MGE that are Monstergirl based. Anything else that could make it seem more... 'official'?

>fornicating with an orc

>Discord

That isn't behind a spoiler though, it's censored.

I mean I personally see now use for monster girls outside of ERP so the general content of encyclopedia pages is fine.
>Monster girls like to fuck human men
>Kidnap and rape human men
>Treat their "husbands" different ways depending on type

I was thinking what if a bbeg for a MGE campaign happens to be a Lilim who runs her demonic realm like the sims and tries to push people together in order for them to hook up? I mean she would keep enough humans in a quasi-suburban area.

It really depends on where you draw the line between "trying to fix" and "taking elements and make a new setting based on it".

MGE does have a few elements that can be build around, like the monster vs. human conflict, the transformation theme if you take the fetish out or the concept of a demon lord that unites the monsters. You just need to put actual work into it.

No, dragon or bust.

Well it could work, so long as you make it clear that the BBEG is pretty much a god as far as the players are concerned and they really can't do anything to stop her.

So you mean a neet lilim who spends all day trying to make her fan fics real. Almost enough to make me fall. Almost.

Worldbuilder/Systmebuilder ressources maybe? Links about obscure mythological creatures you can base monsters on, or a repository with anime art or JRPG maps.

There's a lot more ways to address combat than there are to address "and then she diddles ur dingus lol". Plus, there's multiple motivations to combat, and only really one to dingus diddling, ESPECIALLY in the MGEverse.

Oh my god, some all powerful demon just runs her kingdom like the sims and tries to micro-manage everyones lives. She runs up to people all the time and asks them to hang out then just sits and watches with a big smile on her face as they interact. All the "sims" find it really creepy but go along with it anyways because when people don't do what she says she seems really disappointed in them before they go missing.

>Discord link
Ah yes, the Clarion Call of only the worst, most autistic generals.

>There's nothing wrong with taking inspiration from specific parts of MGE.
Except that there's literally nothing salvageable from this shitpile of a setting

Is there some kind of master wiki list for mythological creatures that could be linked? The Monsters are based on those things after all, so it'd be like pointing someone to actual mythology when they ask about inspirations for a fantasy world.

>"I use them outside of ERP!"
>proceeds to describe an ERP
MGfags, everyone

Reading these stories is what really sealed the deal about the demons to me and made me realize there is no hope with the demons.

That is literally the inverse of what I think you can use from the setting.
God and Demonlord that are both trying to fuck humanity over in different ways? You can use that.
United lord of Monsters? You can definitely use that, especially if not everyone under them is cool with it.
Humans becoming theocratic and zealous in their attempts to fight those things? It can work.
Meanwhile I'd never touch the ERP aspects of MGE. Even if I was MAKING an ERP, I wouldn't use anything from MGE for it.

FRONTPUSSY

Would you make out with a Jabberwock's tentacles?

Nyet.

I remember there was a portal/tool for scientist that lets you search various mythologies by keywords and shared themes that was mentioned sometime during my linguistics class, but for the life of me I can't remember the name of it.

None of those concepts you mentioned are unique to MGE

That sounds baller as fuck for completely non-MG related reasons, being just a database of mythology that lets you see similar themes in their stories across the world? Many a lost evening in the making.

Gaaaaay.

The question was "What would you rip from this setting", nothing was mentioned about how original the concepts was.

I meant to say "don't see how" instead of "see now"

The method they go missing should be 'accidents'.

>Essentially Lilim isn't happy when she sees Bob chase after Nancy instead of Gale, who's the kindly loner troll.
>The next day, Nancy winds up lighting herself on fire the next night, so Bob has to go out with Gale instead.
>The police have ruled it an 'accident'.
>A few people do have their suspicions, but they never call her out on it, since it would wind up having them have 'accidents' as well.

Wurms are ___.

>There's a few rooms where the "Sims" can't be observed.
>One Sim has a conspiracy board with little cut-outs of newspaper clippings, notes, and string in their basement.
>Attempts to put together why so many 'accidents' keep happening, assumes not!Lilim has some kind of nefarious plot, takes it all deadly serious.
>Doesn't suspect for a second the actual reason.

Retarded. Literally retarded.

...

>God and Demonlord that are both trying to fuck humanity over in different ways? You can use that.
Why would I need MGE as an influence?
>United lord of Monsters? You can definitely use that, especially if not everyone under them is cool with it.
Is everyone not cool with it?
>Humans becoming theocratic and zealous in their attempts to fight those things? It can work.
Once again why would I need MGE as an influence?
>Meanwhile I'd never touch the ERP aspects of MGE. Even if I was MAKING an ERP, I wouldn't use anything from MGE for it.
And what about the main fucking point of the setting, monster girls? Why include monster girls unless them being attractive women is an important part of why you are playing?

This is like someone saying "what would you take from 40k?" and instead of "Orcs and Elves in space" or "space marines and monastic military orders in space" you say "a dying corrupt, massive empire assailed on all sides" as though the prime focus of 40k is the Imperium being corrupt as opposed to a modified fantasy in space.

...

...

>Why would I need MGE as an influence?
You wouldn't. But the question was ABOUT MGE.
>Is everyone not cool with it?
Are there rebellious Monsters running around and attempting to overthrow the Demonlord?
>Once again why would I need MGE as an influence?
Once again, because the question asked was regarding MGE specifically.
>Include Monstergirls!
... Fair point, should probably have noted that I'd include Monstergirls, even if not the sexual aspect.

As for "why Monstergirls?"
Well, having something that's a threat to you look incredibly inviting and even sometimes show it can add a level of something that demons and even other humans can't - you have some level of primal desire not to kill those things, possibly even a reason not to fear them, or if you're particularly jaded not to trust them.
Also because it's an opportunity for, potentially, a diverse range of cultures and forms that would each have developed similar to the creatures of myth they're based on and adding human features to them - both physical ones and mental or cultural ones. A manticore is a pretty scary beast, but when it's got enough humanity in it that you can see it and it can talk to you and reason with you in a recognisably human way, I think that can create something kind of interesting.

People have bought up a few interesting ideas in previous threads regarding a world of Monsterfolk, it's ideas like those as well.

>Excuse me sir, do you have a minute to listen to the word of Poseidon?

I mean it should be over the top friendly the fake world she managed to create.

>Criminals never do 'serious' crimes, the worst thing the one guy did was stole candy from a baby.
>The whole place should invoke an American fifties feel in regards to personality, but they have cellphones and flat screen TVs.

I'm kind of thinking that the whole place should feel comfy or safe at first.

No, she's a dick who has been sinking ships and putting a stranglehold on trade as a result. The only words I want to listen to from her are an oath to stop and apologies for the men and women lost to the seas.

The whole thing is OVERLY friendly. Even if you try to run someone over, they get up and dust themselves off and tell you it's fine and they should have looked where they were going.
Swearing doesn't happen, it turns into nicer words when it leaves your mouth.
Nobody ever really falls out or argues, they just have small disagreements and always make up after like a day or two.
Everything is just overly, disingenuously nice. And sometimes people feel it, and notice it, and hate it.

The twisted game must be reset, user. Monsters. Humans. EVERYONE. They must all be reminded who this world's true master is.

>Well, having something that's a threat to you look incredibly inviting and even sometimes show it can add a level of something that demons and even other humans can't
That's fine in limited cases for example the Sirens in ancient Greece, but an alluring threats wears off fast if every enemy is an alluring threat.

The party is playing as a bunch of teenagers out to rebel, the plot starts when they find a strange traveler that hands them a few college books before dying.

>first year philosophy students vs. the forces of hell

>Go ahead and talk, I probably won't hear you over the screams of the imminently damned.

He's implying monstergirlposters are even below animeposters in the social hierarchy of nerd-dom, sort of like how furries are lower than roleplayers.

All of them, err, us being pathetic, of course.

Could I ask, why are you guys so wedded so the MGE universe? Why argue about the Order and the Lady and all that if you can just make your own setting, one that's far more coherent than the nonsense blather in MGE. This would cut out 3/4s of the arguments in these threads.

>Wheredoyouthinkyouare.png

>Could I ask, why are you guys so wedded so the MGE universe? Why argue about the Order and the Lady and all that if you can just make your own setting, one that's far more coherent than the nonsense blather in MGE. This would cut out 3/4s of the arguments in these threads.

It's fetish fags keep pushing MGE as the OP

The threads originally started out as being purely MGE focused, so the newer threads are still carrying that mindset with them.
The second problem is that MGE, like it or not, is a cohesive setting, it's something for everyone to talk about rather than the half-dozen different homebrews. If the Veeky Forums MG system gets finished that might clean it up somewhat, but it still doesn't give any definitive setting fluff, so there's still a lot of freedom involved.

Occasionally conversations do pop up based around different or homebrew settings, and those can be pretty hit or miss.
I actually think the less extreme Paladins getting together with the co-existence fags create the best results, not the MG posters themselves.

You can still have all that fetish stuff in a custom setting. In fact it'd be even easier to create a rules system together with a new setting, so that the rules matched the setting assumptions, than to try and port MGE's setting to some existing rules like Warhammer.

>MGE
>cohesive

Hi Anita

>Three pairs is right

The fact you're all arguing about the MGE setting being so inane and contradictory means it's not cohesive.

>Port to existing rules
That's where you're wrong kiddo

To get back on track- what species are more likely to be order aligned?

Angels of course.
Domesticated beast races?
Golems?

Un-Corrupted Fae, Elves, Dwarfs, Elementals. And the only corrupted thing they let in their lands are Kobolds, because making you kill your doggo is too cruel and the monsters exploit that
