>i rely on other to spoonfeed me instead of fixing the problem myself
Cameron Price
Going to be taking on my friends Knights this weekend with my murder elves. 2000pts. I’m guessing he’ll have 3 or 4 knights or try to feature his Porphyron somehow. Here’s the list I came up with. How long do you think I’ll last?
Owen Young
Yeah, Captain America was definitely the asshole in that film.
Leo Thompson
>starts watching bols stream >play doesn't know that TSons get +6" to casting >that Magnus gives rerolling 1s to hit aura >that Soulreaper is -3 instead of -2
Jesus fucking shit, how you forget your fucking Legion Trait?
Sebastian Barnes
Is this too Dork Eldar for a Ynarri Shining Spear? I just hate the old model so much
Brody Adams
>elves >not running 30 dark reapers and 3 different army detachment It's like you don't like winning
Jaxon Reyes
I've done that! I'm salamanders and I forget all the time!
Ian Robinson
Do we have any mono-custodes batreps? I need to know if guards are mediocre at best for real and if termies are as shit as anons tend to claim. Also codex errata in two weeks, right?
Nathaniel Rivera
I have the post number copied onto my clipboard but I think you deserve to be bullied some before I give it to you
Christian Hill
There's a mono custard vs Necron battle report in the new white dwarf, 3,500 points per side.
Xavier Phillips
More sexy snake girls when?
Anthony Robinson
Either because the codex is fresh, or the army is being played by a retard. Probably both
Adrian Powell
I've played a couple games. The Terminators are decidedly meh, and I had a lot of fun with the army.
Jason Ortiz
Shining spears should look like jousters imo. Like a bunch of jetbikes with laser lances all line up is what makes them cool.
Andrew Foster
>tfw only see soup everywhere >even if this guy plays pure Dark Eldar, all I see is soup
Brandon Morris
Why are you at the soup store?
Henry Rodriguez
His Primarch book made me feel a little bit bad for him, but then again he is just too fucking autistic
Evan Cooper
Because the GW is the only LGS in my area.
Carter Perez
Looks fine to me. Ynnari are supposed to be edgy eldar but not quite deldar, right? I'd be fine playing against an army of conversions like that
Levi Evans
>Terminators are decidedly meh, and I had a lot of fun with the army Mind to share your list? Also what were you playing against? How were guards doing? I want to stick mainly with 1000pts and 1500pts games
Adrian Baker
>this model had an auto kill, which we replaced with a single mortal wound
T-thanks
Bentley Rogers
What should the last color in a Iron Warriors Scheme be?
Dark Leadbelcher for the armor.
Yellow/Black Hazard stripes.
Gold trim.
??? Cloth.
Bentley Ortiz
The mould lines on those arms are atrocious
Daniel Ross
What are Flesh Gauntlets rolling 6’s.
Jordan Nguyen
>dream about Kabals, Wych Cults and Coven getting their own codexes >wake up
Asher Johnson
It's almost as if the model isn't finished or something.
Grayson Gutierrez
Some black or dark red details and squad markings
Austin Cruz
user, I believe we’re getting our own traits for each.
Jonathan Robinson
Dark blue or dark green.
Aiden Wright
What do the Guardsmen of the Sol System look like?
Isaiah Parker
>the dudes whose entire name revolved around that one weapon in the squad >now they're just the 1/6 mortal wound chance dudes
Adam Stewart
Death has come for you.
Colton Gray
Dark brown cloth
Austin Myers
...
James Williams
black cloth seems like the obvious choice, black washed and then highlighted dark grey, but I think a super dark crimson would look wicked
Dylan Thomas
In 30k there was the Solar Auxilia, but we don't know anything about them in 40k
Mason Brown
God Emperor I fucking wish they would bring back Pariah's for the necrons. If they did I might consider getting back into the necrons after what they did to their lore in 5th edition.
Levi Rogers
Mostly asking because people keep talking about running guard with Custodes, and I'm wondering if anyone is actually bothering to use Terran guard that'd realistically work with custards on a permanent basis.
Dylan Baker
Yeah...but there was still an appeal in having your sergeants be unit champions too.
The real thing I enjoyed about Tank Shock was being able to reposition enemy units. Bunch them into "flamerbait" formation, push them away from auras, fuck up their formation so they couldn't optimally pile-in without messing up their coherency.
Incidentally, was making pile-in optional strictly necessary? It was possible to win otherwise-unwinnable objective fights via "force-kiting".
Liam Cruz
...
Nathaniel Nelson
It depends on the regiment.
One is white and gold, one is red/black, etc.
Luke Parker
Why put the stairs at the front?
Christian Cox
I kind of want to use some of my imperial guard with my space marines army. I don't want to spam, just maybe a couple veteran squads to serve as additional objective holders/screening force. Is that is good idea? I've got about 80 lasgun dudes and a whole bunch of special and heavy weapons teams that I'm not using in addition to a sizable parking lot. Idea is to fluff them as mortal forces raised like how ultramarines or space wolves (and probably a lot more chapters) do.
Asher Fisher
Pariahs coming back in the Necron codex with a plastic kit would get me so hard. The release could just be codex, Cryptek and pariahs and would be great. Give them the SoS abilities and a warcythe. Done.
Parker Cooper
...Actually yeah some Fists allied to Custards would be pretty cool. Golden boys and the yellow boys who can't afford gold armour.
Benjamin Watson
>It is notable that while the Space Marine Legions battled furiously against one another – and the Imperial Army and Mechanicum tore themselves to shreds with internecine conflict – the Legio Custodes were strangely absent for much of the fighting. The few records that survive from that dark time provide only hints as to why that might have been, alluding to the existence of another, terrible war that took place beyond the sight of the wider Imperium, one that only the Adeptus Custodes had any chance of winning.
Ethan Kelly
Falonius! Fetch my finest codpiece!
Dylan Hill
Why not?
Nolan Gonzalez
The War in the Webway
Ayden Rivera
I've got about 1k from tax return to throw on warhammer. I play SW, what get?
Colton Lewis
They fought in the Webway against daemons and other nightmarish shit like enslavers. The Golden Throne was originally an imperial Webway portal.
Jack Brooks
What's confusing about this they were in the webway fixing the nothing wrong that Magnus did.
Dylan Russell
Do you have the flyer that looks like a giant wolf head? Get one of those, they look pretty neat.
Gabriel Mitchell
They were filing their tax returns.
All that gold ain't cheap.
Camden Allen
Weren't they fighting to stem the tide of demons and such trying to pour out of the broken Fenway portal on terra or something? I remember hearing something about that going on after Magnus screwed the grox trying to talk to Big E
Christian Taylor
A rope you fucking furfag
Jason James
Where can I read about them fighting enslavers? I knew about them fighting daemons in the webway but not them
Ryder Wright
Rival army - "oh shit their leader is riding some sort of war machine, she'll be impossible to get to.... Wait there is a staircase. Fuck it, charge"
Isaiah Anderson
Are raptors any good at all? It just seems like Warp Talons are the better choice.
Sebastian Myers
Yes, and as many termies and infantry that I'll ever need
Brandon Powell
What is their endgame?
Eli Miller
>mfw the local furry plays Imperial Fists and I play IW
Jacob Foster
>your non melee focussed armies stabby dudes suck >every time
I just want some melee fun.
Connor Evans
Maybe she wants to get down though? Druchii are physical kinda folk.
Logan Carter
The problem is that Alpha Legion Khorne Berzerkers make both fairly redundant.
Jordan Brooks
Expose boob? The fuck? I though GW was nothing but soybois
Leo Cook
Either dreadnoughts or predators. They should serve you well
Cooper Adams
On that note, what space marines would make good support for custards? Some shooty boys for anti-horde and ranged anti-vehicle I assume?
Asher Peterson
depends on what you are using them for. If you need fast movers to capture objectives and tie up shooting squads, then yes. If you dont need that or dont plan on squeezing it into your lists, then no.
Isaac Evans
>tfw I've got at least 12 dreads predators it is
Joseph Russell
>w2s are legally supposed to arrive within a day >got a message saying they put them in the mail box today
Guess I got a free 100 for the delay.
Easton Harris
Don't buy the memes just because sjw's are trying to make things more pc doesn't mean GW will start catering to them and piss off their base, because GW already has plenty of other ways to piss off their base without the help of sjw's.
Jackson Barnes
If I recall correctly, Warp Talons are too costly compared to Raptors, and with little to gain for it
Easton Ross
Cheaper, can take meltas and have -1 ld, which can be useful against some armies
Wyatt Ortiz
Appearing as barbarians in Civilization : 40k
Joshua Stewart
>forget I have grenades every single time
Anyone else do this? I borrowed my friends tau army and I saw the grenades were rediculously useful.
Zachary Carter
How would you fix deathwatch TG?
Brayden Rodriguez
Can you throw them and shoot? I always forget
Adam Russell
>remove one of the steps >suddenly invincible
I would love to see a rule for this thing only allowing one model to attack it with melee at a time.
Joseph Morgan
Seconding this
Leo Thomas
cheaper, or a special rule that lets them go in an army without interfering with getting chapter tactics
David Martinez
Only one model can use grenades. Again another reason msu is best.
Elijah Wilson
Eh, I'd rather not pigeon hole myself into Alpha Legion, I usually run Renegade or Black Legion. Cultists are far more effective for taking objectives, paying that much for jump pack dudes who will mostly stay put is a waste I M O. True, Talons however do get the Overwatch resistance, which has saved my ass on quite a few occasions, the Meltas are certainly a boon though.
Juan Price
what dudes
squatting
Jordan Barnes
1 of your guys forgoes shooting to throw the grenade. so in a squad of 10 troops, 1 can throw the grenade while the other 9 shoot.
William Richardson
How do I play CD soup?
Jordan Allen
Seems alright if I'm in range to throw a krak grenade in someone's face.
Justin Sanders
You run Tzeentch Brigade and one Nurgle Herald to spam -1T spell.
Jaxon Hernandez
Eldar. They have a surprising amount of melee focuss specialists but basically 3/4 of them are just mediocre. And the good melee dudes are extremely expensive and not really suitable for anything but tank busting... which is useless with all the anti tank we have.
I hate the whole "well they suck, but they're really good for tarpitting"
John Ward
>I'd fuck Fulgrim no homo edition
If all his artwork made him look like that, I'd consider it.
Daniel Baker
If you are using primaris, it only cost 1 point to attach an auxillary grenade launcher, allowing you to shoot one of those grenades up to like 30". So yeah, being able to lob a frag/krak grenade out to 30" in every 5 man squad is really good.
Christopher Bennett
Imperial fists >Whirlwinds, Thunderfire cannons, and shooty dreads
Andrew King
Using power level, some units get a little cheaper as a large mob. Like a troop choice that is PL3 with 10 models might be PL5 with 20, but I haven't bothered to examine their points, so I'm guess it's still shit in matched play.
Orks and mob armies need a rule that lets multiple models in a unit fire grenades.
What I don't get is why a model can fire 3 guns, OR one pistol.
Elijah Young
>Using power level, Typically people don't use that user. Points is far more balanced.
