That was my thought as well. Even if they put it (for who knows what reason) in the geographic center that still puts it over 2,000 km from the coasts.

The United States has shit for infrastructure compared to Europe, so travel between states is a lot more expensive than going from one EU member to another.

I was talking more about how, depending on where one lives and where they place the cafe, it may be easier for someone to take a flight or even drive from one state to another compared to having to take a flight from the US to the UK.

The announcement does sort of read as GW wanting this to be the US version of Warhammer World. Right now they don't have anything equivalent to what they can do at WHW in the US since their appearances are constrained to third party conventions who usually feature at least one non-GW game.

The thing that is is no matter where they put it, most of the country won't have access to it. If it's in Texas the northwest, northeast, and more can't reach it. If it's in West, the east can't. So on and so forth. IMO it should go in the midwest. There's multiple large wargaming conventions, cheaper rent, and a large portion of the country can access it. (On top of this, if it's somewhere like Chicago or Indianapolis, flights to it will be dirt cheap.)
