As an actual foot fetishist, fucking stop this meme. It's offputting, gives us a bad name and everyone knows the only GW mini with well sculpted female feet were the Diaz Daemonettes.
Owen Flores
>Massive two handed beast of a sword >People keep calling it small for some reason
??????
Thomas Jackson
>as an actual foot fetishist
Henry Cruz
Which 40k army do I start collecting next?
Orks, Eldar or Khorne Daemon army?
Jack Perez
Are you blind? It's tiny. Obviously it's big for non primarchs but compared to Dorn is looks like a fucking gladius.
Jordan Martinez
Nth for soi bois, when will they stop redditspaceing?
Levi Morris
I'm watching videos of this guy airbrushing minis and he's putting a base color, then he puts like a matte coat (like a varnish I guess?) before applying a wash. Something about the coat helping to break surface tension. Can someone explain this to me? Why is the matte coat important?
I'm new to all this stuff so I'm trying to understand what's going on.
Alexander Jones
Are vehicles overcosted this edition with the way things have changed? My ork vehicles seem to fold every single game from trukks to battlewagons. The only vehicles that don't eat shit are Kanz which usually are in cover and have smaller guns pointed at them since the big guns are pointed at my wagon, trukks, and gorkanaut.
>Pic related is Da Monsta, which I made after my opponent accused me of Modeling for Advantage from using a classic Ork Trukk (I love classic models)
Camden Foster
>Nth for soi bois, when will they stop redditspaceing? can you fit more memes into your sentence pls?
Aaron Gutierrez
Orks
Jackson Watson
...
Wyatt Rodriguez
It's as big as a fucking marine.
Samuel Long
- Which one has more appealing models? - Which one has more appealing rules? - Which one has more appealing lore? - Which one is less played in your group?
Answer these (in order of importance) and you'll know it
Ian Rogers
>Blade alone is the length of his leg
????????????????
Kevin Adams
>betamale
Jeremiah Lee
Who has the best honkadongderoos?
Wyatt Robinson
Yeah and it looks like a fucking toy sword.
Andrew Myers
Guilliman literally has a gladius
were you expecting some giant anime sword?
Jack Miller
I'm sorry Dorn isn't Cloud Strife user.
Adrian Young
Yeah, the scale does seem off... even if in reality it's the size of a spacemarine.
Maybe it will look better when we get more pictures?
Luke Howard
Why is Dorn cosplaying a shield captain?
Jealous of superior custard gene forging?
Andrew Garcia
Im at maximum meme density I am afraid. Ill try harder next time >Nazi soiboi ethnonationalist libtard
Zachary Johnson
>not being an alpha wymen
Leo Brown
>wanting a Primarch sized Eviscerator >lol u fuckin weeb wanting Cloud
Kayden Flores
>blade only as long as his leg
Did he seriously bring a chainknife to a sword fight?
Jaxson Sanders
that is primarch size, its the size of a primaris marine
Dylan Bennett
Xenos are NPCs, nothing more.
William Young
Why is everyone making these custard armies?
Justin Jones
That -is- a Primarch sized eviscerator user.
I'm not even calling you a weeb, I'm just baffled by your very specific buster sword fetish.
Nathaniel Fisher
Isn't dorn like twice that guys high tho?
The sword is prob the same size more or less.
Jack Watson
>dat weak knees inward pose >dat scared face > dat toyblade Is dorn the primarch of beta soy manlets?
Aiden Evans
You know what they say about a man with a big sword.
Andrew Jones
better to be NPC than Soyarmour
Angel Wright
Gee it's almost as if heroic scale miniatures have cartoonishly exaggerated weapons.
Noah Scott
It's new and shiny. Same thing that happens with every new codex.
Also the custard has always sold well even in 7th. IT's why gw is making all this stuff. Following the money.
Angel Moore
Because half the player base loves bland power-armoured models.
Ryan Turner
>cheap >cool >solid rules >good models >already spent 700 dollars on an HH army of them
Brayden Richardson
/HHG/ is that way.
Jordan Murphy
kiddie imperiumfags and bandwaggoners
Isaac Murphy
Whats next for 40k?
Josiah Jenkins
An eviscerator is supposed to be as big as the user. Not leg length.
Ethan Jackson
According to this thread, some sort of soy based army
Connor Gutierrez
Everyone is an npc except
Thomas Ross
Yes, so why isn't his sword twice as big?
Just like Dorn's pocket knife. He must have deep pockets.
Angel Howard
Custards and obnoxious imperiumfags go ahead and migrate here
Isaac Garcia
Inquisition is getting it's own codex after all the xeno stuff is my bet.
Luis Foster
We're still moving armies out of the index phase. We'll be here for a while.
Lucas Thomas
Soyboi invasion of the hobby. Only women use power armour. So soybois are attracted to “males in power armour”
Alexander Harris
How is any army NPC when people obviously play them?
John Walker
Why is everything goddamn soup?
>Dark Eldar Codex >Wyches, Kabals and Covens
>T'au Codex >Different Septs
>Necron Codex >Different Dynasties
Fuck this fucking soup game. We truly are Age of Soup.
Camden Watson
Calm down Bobby G.
Christian Richardson
The fuck you on? SoB evisrators are as big as they are. His is not much bigger than that. Its just a primarch sized chainsword
Ayden Rivera
Eldars are favorited by GW. Every single edition they are competitive top tier.
Orks the funniest NPC, but be ready to either kitbash/scratch build units, or to buy a lot of 3rd party stuff (and hence not playable in GW stores).
Khorne demon army allows you to play aos with the same models.
Elijah Campbell
>people who like things I don't like need to leave
Robert Gomez
>thread made on Tuesday Fuck off with your dead game
Thomas Morgan
If you want everything broken down into microfactions with 2-3 models each, go play AoS
Jaxon Phillips
Dorn having a mustache is just memes.
Logan Price
Because it's fun to build your own army?
Nathan Barnes
Silence redditsoi
Nathaniel Stewart
>If you want But GW is doing it right now, you dumb soupfucker.
Lincoln Walker
(You) earned this. Made me reply.
Anthony Torres
>Fuck off with your dead game that where imperiumfags belong
Wyatt Williams
>Are vehicles overcosted this edition with the way things have changed?
Anything ork that is not basic melee boyz is overcosted.
Weirdboyz are just decent for their point.
Rest of the index is garbage.
James Green
>Did he seriously bring a chainknife to a sword fight?
>Not wanting to use a chainknife so you can get up close and personal. Showing your foes your calm, unconcerned and uncaring face.
Let me guess. You'd rather him fight with a spear, like some other primarch failures.
Brandon Harris
It didn't have to be this way. If they had transitioned to 8th, this would be so much bette
Isaiah Parker
Yeah, need to find a head with glorious chops to put on him.
The open mouth thing... just looks bad.
Hudson Moore
Can i take two different xenos detachements in one army?
Are there better rules for cover? Does Veeky Forums use houserules for cover?
Adrian Jones
>the largest, most played and bet selling faction by far needs to leave >Because the least played of all groups doesn't like them Kek, you're a special kind of retard my friend
Blake Fisher
Yes and sisters of battle eviscerators are in heroic scale whilst the Primarch models are made to look like artwork brought to life and honestly don't work very well as play rather than display pieces.
Are you really that stupid?
Sebastian Stewart
>"build your own army"
>"Okay, these guys are from Dynasty Faggotica and these guys are from Dynasty Retardicus, I also painted them all with the same color"
Nathan Campbell
Then why did they all get rules before models? You are making it up as you go.
Jayden Hernandez
The only thing bland about Custodes is the barely distinguishable wargear amongst the plastic kits.
Dylan Powell
>what is half-swording
Jeremiah Martin
Because GW have a steely determination to mangle Primarch lore as far as possible, then have people field 14 foot Mary Sues in a normal game.
Austin Allen
- Which one has more appealing models? Orks - Which one has more appealing rules? I don't know - Which one has more appealing lore? Eldar - Which one is less played in your group? Khorne Daemons
I'm at a loss, I really like the Eldar lore
I'm thinking Orks just for the fun of kitbashing shit; I've got a bunch of spare Space Wolf stuff lying around from finishing my army so maybe I could make some ragtag looking guys.
Owen Rivera
>Kek, you're a special kind of retard my friend largest and most played doesn't mean good check out pubg faggotry
Blake Green
2nd custard armor is great looking. Some of the forgeworld stuff is really detailed.
Kinda why I like chaos stuff and hate normal space marines. Space marines look bland to me. hell each model in the custard kit is a bit different.
Nolan Gutierrez
>segments of sub-factions of the same faction can't work together as a distinct force Why the hell not?
Sounds like you're just a bitter old fart who can't handle change.
Jayden Taylor
Bikes are in the mail
feeling hyped
Jack Evans
>According to this thread, some sort of soy based army Made me chuckle
Daniel Morales
To make an army I thought they all had to share a keyword... or is my non coffeed brain screwing that up?
Jason Lopez
Indeed. We should have just 1 Astra Mlitarum, 1 Space Marines and 1 Agents of the Imperium
Aiden Jackson
For people wanting to play them anyway ?
Forge world was always about making display pieces, that somehow got rules because people wanted to play them.
GW used to be about the rules first and then providing the models to play it. It changed a bit under kirby (Make the rules so that we sell the models. Also according to GW most of their playerbase don't play the game at all anyway). But the point stay : Citadels models are meant to be played, FW to be displayed. GW pricing is directly related to how many they expect you to buy, FW pricing are pretty linear with weight and number of pieces.
Ian Hernandez
I bet you cried soup when the space marine codex came out with all those chapter tactics in them 4/10 bait. Got a (you)
Henry Adams
I'd argue there are standout units like big gun kannons and mek gun KMKs, Nobz, and I've found great results using killa kanz frequently. but you are correct, most of the index is pretty tame especially compared to the bonuses codex armies may hold over an index army like chapter tactics and stratagems, which an index just straight up does not have.
Cooper Wright
>"Why the hell not?" Because you are a waac soup fucker who acknowledges his army is fucking shit without that meme subfaction combo
See: Nids who only use Kraken and Kronos to win games
William Peterson
Is it OP bullshit soup to take my once legal DG bikers, havocs and obliterators, put them in a CSM detachment and field them alongside DG units? Or should they all just be generic Nurgle renegades, since you can't even call them Death Guard with the codex?
Nicholas Davis
>what is half-swording Fighting with only half of a sword.
I prefer to use the tip half instead of the hilt half, as the tip is sharp. Even if it hurts my hand.
Hunter Morris
What's the best shield-captain assuming I don't want to use the named guy?
Juan Foster
As I've said, models > rules > lore > less played. As you still aren't keen on the rules, watch some recent battle reports to get a glimpse of how they are played. Also, watch games in your FLGS and even ask if people would play vs proxied armies to test rules.
Jose Hall
Your soup works if you call one detachment Death Guard and the other a generic nurgle renegade
