What's a good name for a copper piece which stats with C and isn't 'copper'?
I already have Guilders for gold and Shillings for silver, so something that sounds vaguely in keeping with those would be a bonus.
Only low-denomination coins I can think of which start with C are cents, which seem too modern, and cash, which is confusing because that's the word we use for cash.
>starts with a C kopeck, even though it doesn't start with a C it preserves your phonetic and numismatic theme

Clinglings, or Clinks as the unsophisticated will call them. Then change Guilders to something else that ends in -lings so it'll all fit.

Creuzer was a subdivision of Guldens in Central Europe. Its name comes from a cross depicted on it I believe. Although I think it's spelled Kreutzer in anglicized form.

Why does it have to be a C word? I just call them slugs in my setting because of the color.

But cash is literally the word for a small-denomination Chinese copper coin, it's perfect.

Chink is a racial slur. Don’t use it if you’re playing with normies
