We need more moderation, honestly, but not in a blanket sense. So I guess we need better moderation? Fun threads get flooded with retards screeching about it being off-topic or get deleted out of the blue, but then on-topic threads that are full of shitposting and bullshit are left virtually untouched.

The problem with not being dicks to other people leads to stupid people feeling welcome here which is something nobody wants,
while good OC has never been produced by shitflinging but instead by cooperation.
Basically you need a balance of hostility to keep out the undesireables like reddit, while also harboring an atmosphere of cooperation to produce good content. Going too much into either direction is bad in different ways.
