Nectar is definitely a good series, but it also has some of the more bad current isekai trends (like the perpetual need for beastkin slave girls) that puts it solidly in the "average" camp instead of the "great" camp.

I still like it. Cursed Blood is where I have my hopes for though.

Why not all of them? Since dwarf males seem to be all the fucking same regardless of setting, I think it would be neat to make dwarf females just incredibly diverse. Beards, sideburns, shortstacks, short human females with a bit of extra curves (they still do have to be able to deliver dwarf children after all), loli-esque, you name it, it exists. Maybe split them up by region. Or don't, just handwaved it saying dwarf males genes are extremely dominant resulting in most males looking relatively similar, and female genes are all over the fucking place and you can find all of the varieties in any major dwarven settlement.

Hell, as an add-on to this you could even dramatize it into how Dwarves always seem to be implied to be a slowly dying race. Conception and to a degree infant mortality rates are relatively high since the females are so genetically unstable.

Alternatively, dwarves are always male, but can be born of any race. If a couple winds up with a dwarf child, adult dwarves do their best to arrange for adoption.

You know, it's weird, but around 3e, OGL settings seemed to tend to draw their dwarf women as attractive shortstacks. Look at the Charduni dwarf from Scarred Lands, or the female dwarf in the Ravenloft campaign setting book/player's guide.
