Looking into actually making a list out of my neglected Armada collection in the hopes of playing it sometime. Haven't played with anything more than the starter box, but have pretty much one of everything Imperial.
Thinking of going with a Kuat Refit beatstick backed by an Interdictor to inflict rerolls and provide Regen support.
What would be a good way to kit them out so they can do their jobs, whilst leaving me enough points to not get utterly fucked in the Squadron game?
William Evans
Prediction: Decent sci-fantasy movie, horrid star wars movie. Childish Lambino not saying a word in the teaser is deeply worrying. I like the droid and those beach samurais though. And the speeders.
Austin Jones
>Creepio Midichlorians duke
Noah Evans
It looks like a desaturated, bland Guardian of the Galaxy.
Jack Brooks
Thats the best case scenario. Worst case its like the JJ Abrams Star Treks.
Sebastian Moore
I like the visuals and the song is cool. The characters and story look hyper boring.
I think Heavy Ion Emplacements and Disposable Capacitors makes the Interdictor a viable threat, although I haven't seen one fielded that way personally yet.
Otherwise, just take a 60-70 point ace ball and spend the rest on whatever.
Ryan Ortiz
Is it just rose tinted glasses from people that grew up with the prequels, or is Disneyways (except TLJ which really was) really that bad?
Samuel Green
Disney Wars (except TLJ) is just Marvel.
TLJ is either pretty good or horrible, depending on who you ask, but in either case at least it's not just Marvel.
Carter Bailey
Last thread a droid control ship was pitched as a reble base, and someone popped the idea of a quirky droid crew, but what sorts of quirks would the different modles of battle droid be prone to?
Asher Mitchell
There was more stupid jokes and quips in TLJ than there was in TFA
Jaxson White
sorry I guess every movie with quips and jokes is a marvel movie my bad
Jordan Green
TLJ had shitty action scenes, not a single lightsaber duel, poor characterizations and plot filled with holes
Hudson Richardson
Weird, one of the things I didn't like about TLJ was the humour that felt imported from Marvel
David James
Than tell me how TLJ was less Marvel than TFA smartass. I'll wait.
Benjamin Gonzalez
Why did Master make me without SKIIIN?
>Any fun droid PCs/NPCs in your games? W3-3B A droid that is painfully obsessed with Jedi teachings. Despite being inorganic he believes himself to be strong in the force. Trains with the blade. Wears robes. Suffered an accident which left him with an exposed mess of wires sticking out of his neck like a beard of sorts.

For one thing, it subverted expectations.
Connor Howard
Possibility some predatory or vengeful psychosis for vulture droids ala Scar.
Charles Myers
>player whines that a crime lord antagonist didn't die "off-screen"
Matthew Scott
A Tactical Droid who acts like Patton.
Samuel Nguyen
That wasn't a good thing
Julian Reyes
Are they fuckin serious with this Han Solo stuff??
Kayden Sanchez
>hand solo >he has both of his hands why is disney such hacks
Isaiah King
He springs for a new nice hand whenever he gets one blown off. Which is about twice a month.
Ryder Howard
The aesthetic of the movie actually looks great, like Rogue One. Not sure about Han's actor though.
I still think we'll never see Coruscant on the big screen again though.
Parker Mitchell
Thank God, I can barely take "Hey, remember this thing from the OT?!" in those movies. If they start doing "Hey, remember the prequels?!" too, I'll fucking kill myself.
Nathan Rogers
Coruscant's absence in the ST in particular is strange though. They even replaced it with a stand in. (Hosnian).
Austin Sullivan
What's the point of Han dumping the spice if the Empire sees him doing it? There's no way they couldn't tell he was carrying it.
Isaac Rivera
This way the Imperials can grab the loot and use it for bribes and such.
Daniel Smith
A shy chameleon droid
Sebastian King
There are OK Star Wars movies (OT and Rouge One) and there are bad Star Wars movies (PT, ST).
There are no good star wars movies, its all shlocky.
Nolan Reed
Imagine being this jaded.
Matthew Morales

Cooper Baker
Obviously they did not want to blow up Coruscant. But of all the shitty worldbuilding in the ST, Rebels wanting to avoid Coruscant and all the political implications that come with it does actually make sense.
Jace Martin
>rogue one >ok
Daniel Davis
I understand Rebels doing it, purely since those shots would be expensive.
Josiah Scott
>There are no good star wars movies Reddit spacer pls.
Jaxon White
I meant Rebels the organization, not the show. Probably should have said New Republic.
Andrew Bell
Would the Solo movie be improved if they chose this for their closing credits?
The Super Battle Droids think of themselves as 80s action movie heroes.
Christopher Howard
How much more hype would you be for the adventures of Lando?
Angel Long
Honestly, I kinda wish we got RLM's Han Solo movie: baby rancor and star destroyer getting sucked up by a black hole and all
Hunter Lee
An adaptation of the actual novel series? Very if it was animated and Billy Dee Williams returned to play the role.
Christian Miller
RLM has no talent though. Space Cop is as good as it gets as far as movies they made. And Space Cop is porno tier.
Benjamin Cox
I hope that Donald Glover and Woody Harrelson can drag the Solo actor to the finish line
Gabriel Powell
I don't mean have them write the script or direct. I mean have an actually good writer and an actually good director turn it into a movie based on their shitpost.
Isaac Thomas

There are "people" here that didn't like the SUPREMACY
Bentley Myers
It's fine but it's just another example of the FO seemingly having even more resources than the Empire and having the justification for that be nonexistent.
Liam Phillips
Snoke is super rich and the unknown regions is filled with untapped natural resources
Jaxson Bailey
I liked the concept of it as the FO Mobile base. The class name/the fact they gave it a class name is awful though.
John Thomas
And where is that explained in the films?
Nicholas Ross
More like the Shitpremacy. Still better than the pizza slice though.
Aaron Cox
There's only one as far as we know and raw materials are rarely a problem when you can strip-mine asteroids and uninhabited planets out in the Unknown Regions. The bigger concern is where the hell the FO gets its naval manpower. You don't just man something that big and important with random conscripts and untrained slaves.
Evan Cox
>not a single lightsaber duel
That’s the most childish complaint I’ve ever heard
Gavin Gonzalez
>There's only one as far as we know I was speaking about it in addition to the 3rd Death Star.
Cameron Gray
Ah, but you have heard of it.
Easton Adams
It's common sense. The real issue is the lack of automation. Personnel should be their real bottleneck
Julian Russell
sorry, didn't realize every movie with bad action, characterization, plot, and no lightsaber duels is a marvel movie
Brayden Green
>It's common sense. That the imperial remnant has as much if not more resources than the Empire did?
If they have the resources of star systems with nobody to bother them and like 30 years, I could see them building a bunch of new stuff. I think the real issue of manpower.
Nathaniel Foster
We don't know if it does, though. A few oversized wunderwaffen doesn't mean the FO has the resources to rival the galaxy-spanning Imperial Navy in size and power. It just means it likes to dump its resources into a small number of really big things instead of thousands of ISDs.
Landon Morris
Fuck off retard. As of TLJ the FO has apparently retaken most of the galaxy.
David Clark
Stop arguing about old shit, argue about new shit.
Rebel Troopers preview. Think this tells us what Ion does for the first time, it's basically like suppression for Vehicles.
Austin Gonzalez
>B2-EERA acts like Arnold >B2-EERS acts like Stallone >B2-EERB acts like Bruce Willis etc.
Jace Morgan
The galaxy surrendered without a fight. That doesn't mean their navy is actually large enough to conquer, garrison, and police the galaxy.
Thomas Watson
Is there anywhere I can get miniatures for the tabletop rpg?
Angel Perry
There's a droideka with PTSD and has Nam flashbacks
Nicholas Gutierrez
Commando droids get very.... survivalist, constantly scoping out their location for escape and intrusion routes, they come off as twitchy and a bit paranoied
Magna Guards come off as vengeful they want to avenge their trainer and master Grievous, they typically don't see action unless an inquisitor is involved.
Hailfire Droids are trigger happy, they need reminding of the meaning of "collateral damage"
Droidekas might be more Sanic like, they love going fast, absolutely love racing around when not in combat mode, some have actually become rather protective of their allies, think Heavy "GET BEHIND ME DOCTOR" weapons guy
Tri-Droids are uber competitive with their human dogfighting counterparts, often commanding pit droids to give hem custom paint schemes
Dominic Murphy
I can see them developing more quirks still as some get custom replacement parts and such
Austin Miller
>The galaxy surrendered without a fight. Why?
Liam Brown
because the new First Order Is SO SCURRY GUIES!!!!!
its just lazy writing that fails to try to remember how big the galaxy is
Hunter Thomas
I fail to understand how anyone could see this guy as a serious threat.
Grayson Williams
because the writers said so
Isaiah Lopez
They haven't actually surrendered, they've just lost most of their central government and standing fleet.
Nathan Taylor
Before I watched the films I had heard people praise this character. Man I was disappointed when I saw him on the screen.
Tyler Morgan
Man, the new Republic is such a non-entity that if you change TFA’s title crawl to something like:
THE NEW REPUBLIC has UNCONDITIONALLY SURRENDERED to the Imperial Remanent known as THE FIRST ORDER
And it would have that much of an effect on the movie with the exception of having to alter some dialogue. (The First Order has destroyed the New Republic’s homeworld even though they already surrendered)
Adrian Sullivan
>because the new First Order Is SO SCURRY GUIES!!!!!
I mean, they wiped out multiple planets from multiple star systems away at once. That kinda makes the two nukes dropped on japan pale in comparison.
Luke Martinez
Well, in fairness, the galaxy hasn't totally surrendered without a fight. Rey mentions that the First Order is "weeks away from victory" which implies there's some resistance out there opposing them.
He was acceptable in the first movie, I kinda liked him in it; a little bland, but not horribly incompetent.
Then TLJ happens, and every single decision Hux makes is awful and is effectively the sole reason why the First Order fails at everything they do.
Robert Moore
This is the stupidest part of the new trilogy, and you know that this was all formulated retroactively because the writers and directors didn't give a shit.
Grayson Cooper
I like the idea of playfull protective droidekas and ricer tri-fighters
Carter White
>Then TLJ happens, and every single decision Hux makes is awful and is effectively the sole reason why the First Order fails at everything they do.
I honestly like him, as a sort of example what the First Order is. They are people who have entirely drunk the Imperial Koolaid. Everything must be the empire but moreso, ships must be bigger, walkers must be larger (The cable cutters on the legs are sorta iconic of that. Learning exactly the wrong lesson from the AT-AT issues) and ideological purity puts people above effectiveness because they've not actually had a war until now. They are not the empire, as much as they wish to be.
Parker Price
I dont get it, how do you bring writers on for such a big franchise and not find the ones who actually LIKE the damn franchise
William Martinez
>This is the stupidest part of the new trilogy, and you know that this was all formulated retroactively
I mean, that's the Star Wars way. It's how they did the OT.
Oliver Torres
Iunno, I'd say The Empire Strikes Back manages to squeak into being a Good Movie, if only just. It exists in a comfy spot that's more ambitious than A New Hope, but without the flaws of RotJ
Henry Morgan
I imagine if you asked them, they'd say they do like it. They just likely have different ideas.
Jeremiah Scott
That's just not true.
Jackson Thompson
More than the Empire? it's a lot smaller than Deathstar 1, let alone Deathstar 2. It's a big, horribly impractical flying base but it's no Deathstar.
Hudson Foster
This is clearly a TLJ retcon though. Hux was not intentionally pathetic in TFA.
How is the movie that created the universe less ambitious than the sequel?
It really is. A lot of the OT was decided and changed up after each previous movie came out. Like how Darth Vader wasn't Luke's father in ANH and how Splinter of the Mind's Eye was the planned sequel until it proved popular enough to go with something bigger.
Zachary Campbell
Yeah but one of those was a complete space construction and the other was built on a planet. Already having a planet does a lot for your thing being pretty big. It's also a planet they very clearly had only covered part of into a base, since they crash landed in a forest on it outside the base proper.
Lincoln Roberts
But not even CLOSE to the degree the ST is doing it. George had a general plan and improved the details. As we've seen multiple people admit, the ST has NO PLAN.
Fuck off and die you pathetic waste.
Connor Martinez
The hollowing out alone would take more firepower than the imperial starfleet.
