Kartoffelkrieg

I found this gem today and feel it needs more recognition.

Poles can not play this.

This was mentioned a little over at , but it deserves its own thread

That looks like a fun, kid-friendly introduction to Battletech.

Also a cool game for road trips or simply hanging out. Little setup is needed.

A much deserved bump

I wonder if Battletech general could make some unironic kartoffel-inspired battlemechs...

This looks like some legit fun. Thanks for showing user.

...Googling the name I learned that 'Kartoffelkrieg' was actually the nickname for a real war in 1776.

Damn flubbing fingers

bump for battle potatoes

You want someone to clean those up?

i feel at this stage you could probably just remake them from scratch.

OP is not the creator of the game.

It's a fun game, pretty quick and easy to get into. Provided you have the dice handy.

We did not,
Nor did we have a printer,
Nor did we have potatos.
So it was Oranges with weapons drawn and cut out of post it notes
The legs did not offer any support.
And we used a Phone Dice App for rolling

this looks pretty damn cool.

Urbies already exist, user.
