Heya /40kg/ I am thinking of starting a Thousand Sons army, and trying to make a 1K Point list as a good starter, what should I look into? So far as a list I got down an Exalted Sorcerer as HQ, two squads of Rubric Marines with Soulreaper cannons and a squad of Rubric Terminators with a Soulreaper cannon, what else should I get?

1. Troupe boxes only have 2 FP and embraces per box, not a big deal, but personally I like to be wysiwyg
2. Bolas are grenades, so having more than 1 is pointless since you can’t use more than one per phase

after playing a lot of (albeit casual) game with them, i've found that 2 bullet catcher die too quickly, but 3 is a nice sweet spot that had them shrug off fire from a stormtalon while still keeping all the good guns.

The troupe master seems pointless, at least the shadowseer has spells and the -1 to shoot for kicks.
I recommend take out the master and put in a solitaire although I forget their point values (I think solitaire is like 115), so maybe take out the shadowseer instead because the solitaire meshes better with your list than the footslogging shadowseer

you mean 22" + up to 12" charge, right? they can advance and charge, and have a 16" base movement and auto 6" advance.

Can't shoot if they're tied in melee.

You can Deep Strike 30 Tzaangors 9" away and use Warp Time to close the gap to 3" with a 2D6+1" charge. You're a T1 alpha strike. Use VotLW to get +1 To Wound.
