Which two factions are the most tsundere for eachother?
Aaron Baker
Nomads and Aleph
James Baker
PanO and YJ. They have so much in common, but they're competing so they're mandated to hate each other. They're rivals, not real enemies like ALEPH and Nomads or CA and Tohaa.
Easton Fisher
An aspect of ALEPH is literally fucking a member of the Nomads. I think they are by far the most Tsundere.
Nicholas Phillips
>previous thread has a conversation about unit pairings >think it cute that some PanO operative and a YuJing cutie meet when off duty and hit it off.
>think up that they don't know that they are combat assets and eventually run into each other in the battlefield >suddenly not so cute, sick mind of mine has it that one of her team members kills him, only finding out it was him once his brain/cube are fried. heartbroken, she has his vegetable of a body turned into a kuang-shi hat never leaves her side
my mind goes dark places. maybe i should write their story anyway
Asher Wright
Probably way more than one to be honest. ALEPH knows how to get around.
Mason Williams
Even ALEPH can appreciate Lupe Balboa's ass.
Xavier Cooper
I never got comments on this in the last thread so I'll post it again. I'm gearing up for my first ever tourney and new to yu jing, so what do people think of this list:
I'd use my last point to make a second Zhanshi a forward observer but I worry that a) it'll put a target on the 3rd who's my Lt, and b) one of the missions is Hunting Party so it might be giving up an easy point to my opponent that round. (I also like it because it's just red veil which I own already and an imperiak service starter, so minimal investment.)
Jason Anderson
If the MOV value for a trooper is 2 different numbers, how do you know which to use? Hassassin Ragiks are 4-2, so if I have them do 'move-move' it uses both, and if they move as the first action in the order they use the first value. But if they shoot->move do they use the 2nd value because it's the 2nd action or the 1st value because it's the first time they moved?
Nolan Howard
Yu Jing is second to something.
Like always.
Jace Harris
EI/ALEPH
Hunter Diaz
Ain't great desu.
Zhanshi are fine, they do their job and you're taking good advantage of their LT decoy potential.
Pheasant is not so good. I wouldn't recommend them for someone just starting out in general, but the shotgun just isn't very useful compared to madtraps or red fury. They're too expensive to just sit there being backline CoC.
Ninja is a good infiltrator, that's pretty much all there is to it.
Hsien is a cool guy, but he's always better with smoke. Shaolin are a good purchase for that, though if you're really intent on an ISS starter then Celestial Guards have a nice smoke profile.
Zuyong MR is meh. Better to proxy him as a paramedic or FO and take objectives with him. Or just give him an HMG.
Crane in vanilla is a bit iffy, at least the spitfire profile. Multirifle or hacker would be a better pick since there's more utility to be had, imo the spitfire is only really worthwhile in an ISS link team.
Tiger soldier is good.
Zhanying I'm not too sure about. Sixth sense is nice for an ARO unit and ML is a damn good gun, but when unlinked they're just prone to being overwhelmed by sheer firepower. I'd go for based Raiden HRL instead.
I wouldn't get the ISS starter unless you're going into ISS. It's designed with the sectorial in mind, so the options presented are less useful outside of that sectorial.
Second value is only used for move->move. Shoot->move uses the first value.

Please let Tunguska be a sectorial released early this year.
Hudson Gray
>Would I be making all these fine synthetic bodies for myself if I didn't want to make use of them?
Hunter Hall
They'd need a lot of new units. Wouldn't hold my breath for that desu mate.
Carson Perry
This. PanO and Yu Jing in the end want the same thing. Them burying the hatchet would mean that everyone else would have to bend the knee. Including the Tohaa and CA elements in the Human Sphere.
Justin Allen
Wait, who is Lupe Balboa fucking?
Julian Rodriguez
The ALEPH guy she shares Dire Foes with. They both sneak off to have sex during the mission.
Isaiah Nelson
He's not an aspect though, just a Myrmidon.
Liam Jenkins

Henry Evans
Ok, saying I'm playing show of force and I have a Marut as my LT, am I retarded to make the Marut my data tracker as well?
Jack Campbell
>tfw no posthuman girlfriend with multiple bodies.
Evan Peterson
It's just not the lack of units (they have, what, 6 unique units + support troops and Zoe, more than MRRF had), it's more of a lack of direction/reason to take them over vanilla. None of their units is such that you'd really want to take them more than their current max AVA nor linked, bar maybe Kriza Borac. And Securitate is only one waiting overhaul, others are more or less "up to date", though I'd like Grenzers to see some buff, even some new profile with wacky special rule.
So before they get their sectorial they need to redo securitate and give some reason to choose the sectorial over vanilla.
Nathan Stewart
>"girl"
Asher Taylor
Depends on your list.
Michael Robinson
Myrmidons are certain type of aspects, though. Unless they're recreations. The only difference to vedics is that they have more randomness in their creation in hope it confuses EI.
Thomas Morales
Considering the sort of stuff ALEPH makes they've likely got the special 'Random Fetish Chart' for when making a new character.
>And the random fetish this time is...genderswap! >And the random fetish...is big beefy bears! >And the fetish is...ass! Wait, isn't that a default?
Aaron Parker
ML Grenzer Haris.
Jeremiah Johnson
Grenzers would be a solid link, but with the rest of Tunguska not having that much going on the Riot Grrl comparisons get even stronger and less flattering. I'm still perplexed as to why Riot Grrls got a missile launcher at all desu, even beyond the BS buff and price drop. It's not a weapon that short ranged assault troops are associated with and steps on the toes of several more needy units.
James Foster
Magisters and Hamaraki have MLs, it's pretty common for arm 3 HI with shotguns to get them.
Blake Johnson
That's true, I suppose they technically are assault troops. Those two are so weird and specific that I count them as their own thing desu, they're eerily similar. Riot Grrls are their own thing, and not going full retard immediately like Magisters/Haramaki makes them a much better ARO turret unlinked.
Ethan Rogers

Liam Walker
From my understanding the vedic creations don't have a personality, where as the myrmidons are created with minor RNG personality variations to make them seem much more human.
Oliver Edwards
Vedic Aspects have a personality, they're just more unemotional and reserved than the lunatic motherfuckers in ASS. They'd naturally develop some sort of personality as they experienced things anyway, so you're better off giving them one that's convenient for their role than none at all. Not to mention that a weird emotionless blank slate would seriously creep out those humans that most Aspects are going to be dealing with a lot.
What's less clear is EI Aspects. They're definitely individuals of some kind since the EI is explicitly a network rather than an entity, but it's unclear how much they're allowed to develop that individuality.
Robert Stewart
Genderswap was Nomad perversion.
Kayden Wright
What? I need more information on this.
Wyatt Ross
Dire Foes. Lupe Balboa and Thrasymedes.
Luke Hughes
They have several new units for Tunguska that they have been working on, it's likely most are ready to go and they are waiting for a big release.
Henry Miller
>Those two are so weird and specific I'd call them standard assault HI. Though I guess Riots are more Teuton/Domaru style, just much, much better.
Camden Cook
...
Nicholas Kelly
Invincible Army or fucking riot. We've been getting all these sculpts and unit profiles for it for years now: Zuyongs, Yan Huos, redone Tiger Soldiers, Hac Taos (maybe), Guijia, new Zhanshi (maybe) including a SWC box which is 75% useless without sectorial link teams, and now a new Daofei (maybe). Bostria please act upon that Yu Jing bias.
Jose Gutierrez
They're both dirt cheap EX impetuous HI with CC capabilities and a short ranged budget gun backing up a long ranged disposable AT weapon. They also both have a rather out of place (at least fluffwise) ML profile that exists solely to be linked in a fireteam that must contain a more expensive frenzied troop (which in both cases has the high burst weapon and LT profile that Haramagisters lack). They're very similar units and the only EX impetuous HI in the game, so I'm confident in putting them in their own class. Riot Grrls are more along the lines of Santiagos or Domaru, but not having those cheaper weirdos to link with means they end up filling all the team's roles themselves like a normal HI rather than the special MO/JSA mixed links.
And that's the problem with the missile launcher. Haramaki and Magisters get away with it because EX impetuous makes being an ARO turret impossible without linking, but Riots don't have that problem because they're only frenzied. With the rather all or nothing nature of missiles that frenzy is often a free discount even unlinked, and it just so happens that Riot Grrl skills line up perfectly to be a great defensive piece anyway. Add on to that the somewhat dubious competition with a bloated stat MI and more expensive bare bones HI, and the Riot sticks out as the overwhelmingly best choice unless you're short on SWC or using the ML very aggressively.
Dominic Cooper

>Asian_Wojack_Crying_Red.tiff I'm actually not sure what's going to happen with Yu Jing this year. I'm sure we'll get something big, like either Invincible Army release or JSA starter resculpt, but I don't know which. We've been told most of the work for IA has been done for a while but at the same time the JSA starter is in dire need for a resculpt. Getting both in the same year might be a bit much after exiting the 'year of Yu Jing', so it might just be one or the other. I'd be happy with either, but of course whatever ends up being left for next year will feel neglected.
Caleb Rivera
>Invincible Army or fucking riot. Go fuck yourself.
Huang Di first
Jace Rivera
Did the guy in your pic accidentally walk into his parents having sex or something?
Brody Howard
I too would love to have White Banner army, but we must accept the facts comrade. Invincible Army is coming first. We shouldn't get our hopes up.
He was about to jump into combat but just remembered he left his tactical rock at home.
Christopher Nguyen
>He was about to jump into combat but just remembered he left his tactical rock at home. Quick, destroy a TAG to generate some debris and save face!
Lincoln Ramirez
You're going to be disappointed.
Evan Martinez
Corvus Belli would never disappoint anyone with delays and pushed back releases.
Alexander Young
How do you say "Porque no los dos" in Chinese?
I would say that I'd think I'd probably prefer a Huang Di sectorial first because Guilang and Shaolin Monks are among my favorite units.
But dang it, I want to try linked invincibles so bad.

For what? Linkable kameu? A second cutter? Kameu id love to see but i want linked Zuyongs more. I need more terracotta soldiers.
Ryan Watson
I'd be fine if IA came out second this year. I just want to finally have a non-seditious State Army Sectorial sometime before 2019.
Robert Scott
I would say 'this triggers the Merovingians', but I'm pretty sure all the FRRM players have long ago drunk themselves to death.
Zachary Sanchez
The amount of Yu Jing tears could rival Varuna's oceans.
David Reyes
I blame Tohaa for this release mess. If they were never released then the other factions would be more complete.

And not just kamau links, alpha bravos, ORC links and character,Helots, possible new S6 stingray among others
Jose Martin
> alpha bravos I can't get over how 2000s COD this sounds. Like I'm sure when they ARO they'll be talking about how Foot Mobile Hostiles are Oscar Mike in their Foxtrot Oscar Victor.
Grayson Clark
VEDIC WHEN I'm tired of fucking greek homoroids. Give the robot faction a proper robot sectorial already!
Landon Jenkins
I mean yeah, but I like alien factions so I don't mind.
Lucas Reyes
Vedic are finally getting releases after years of Phallus domination. The Garudas and Davanas are a sign that they're finally working on them. But even so, they still have to compete with Steel Phalanx resculpts for the bi-monthly ALEPH release slot. It's a toss up if they come out this year or if they're one of the 3 to be delayed until later.
Adam Price
Vedic is one of the 5 friend.
Xavier Fisher
Orc links dont matter and you know it. Orcs already dont see use in other sectorals thanks to their lack of skills and high price And is anyone actually excited for helots? Aliens are cool but i have serious doubts about them on the battlefield. Their fluff seems to put them as a panO slave race used for industrial work. They also already have cutter, i doubt they will be receiving another tag. Varuna is nice. Cooler than yu jing in general. Not cooler than zuyong invincibles.
Levi Thompson
ORC are badass, and deserve a time to shine.
I dont care what the meta says, ive been quite sucessful with the ORC haris in NT, and often make room for them in Vanilla list. Reliable, tough gunfighters.
I also disagree with that last statement
Ayden Martinez
>one of the 5 Who are the other four?????
Jason Gray
>And is anyone actually excited for helots? As a PanO player I have no idea where the concept of Helots being playable even came from. They're shitty fish aliens best used for manual labour. Too unreliable for PanO war doctrine and probably dead outside Varuna. It's not bumfuck Caledonia, it's the Hyperpower. Not to mention arming your own slave race sounds like a bad idea. The only way I can see Helots in play would be as field rations in Fusilier backpacks.
Carson Sullivan
Irregular, Baggage, Biolocator, Explode Lvl 1.
Nathaniel Johnson
This may sound odd, but I don't really see the point of giving ORCs ML aside from Brigada/Janissary envy. ML ORC would clock at 2 SWC and 41-42pts., which is kinda steep for what amounts to an ARO piece. Father-Knight ML is already a rather disliked profile. In Varuna you're going to have linkable Fusiliers for ML duty anyway.
What I'd rather see is an ORC Specialist profile with an Auxbot or the proposed Feuerbach. Maybe a Panzerfaust profile. I feel like ORCs are supposed to be aggressive and ML is not going to make them that.
That's so not Hyperpower.
Hunter Wood
>That's so not Hyperpower. It's been a long time since I've read it, but I recall the fluff painting the Varuna pacification forces to be some of the most ruthless and no-nonsense formations of the PanOceania military. So they might not be above using Helots in combat if they are useful. Imagine if Helot slaves had Explode Lvl 2: explosion also generates a smoke template.
Ian Bailey
>deploys more chasseurs

tunguska another merc faction the super secret reveal no one has hinted at get
Jason Turner
I know you're havin a laff but Bostria did say that we will probably get more non-aligned factions this year, and that they don't count towards the 'five sectorials' hinted at.
Angel Thomas
In a game universe where you can be given a new body, genderswap should be a *universal* perversion.
Isaiah Brown
Where do you enter the code to get these? I follow the link it comes with but it doesn't have anywhere to enter the codes
Ryan Gray
This I would say we are definitely getting Tunguska this year.
Jordan Sullivan
That's very impressive for Varuna then. The bitch tears of one PanO planet managed to match those of the entire Yu Jing nation?
Levi Reed
>when you kidnap Ateks, dump them into Cubes, and redump them into your "special" maid lhosts PANO NUMBER ONE
Gavin Carter
FK is ignored because it's not linkable. ML Orc would be for haris, where Orcs shine the most. Core is going to be bad. Even if Kamau and Cutters didn't exist, pain trains require some sort of cost cutting measure (very cheap orders, mixed link, efficient cheap specialists, etc) and I doubt Varuna will get that.
They'd be amazingly useful for Varuna doctrine. VIID exists primarily to fight Helots, so refusing to hire loyalists who know how Helots think and can directly counter them on their own home turf would be pretty retarded. And it's not like there aren't loyalists, plenty of Helots have actual jobs. You're buying into YJ propaganda memes.
Blake Howard
So both Nomads and Pano got dindus dumped on them which has the higher rape rates?

Anthony Bailey
>go to Acontecimento >get swarmed by giant unkillable cockroaches >go to Yutang >get shot by Bao >go to Nomad ships >get rapemurdered by mutant biofreaks
Dawn is probably the worst though. When the question of "what if a bear got the Dogface treatment" is given an actual answer, there's not much further downhill things can go.
