Orc and a pie. What do?

...

...

Share the pie with him and the party, hire him as your cook or find him a job in some king's castle.

A family that slays together, stays together.

Shabazik's art is so great.

we need a story for her

Has Hushabye written anything for her yet?

Comfy is at its best when it's horrifying and intimidating creatures doing cute things. Stuff like Zardrak, conquerer of worlds and scourge of the heavens, taking some time out of his busy schedule to read his children a bedtime story.

Who's Hushabye? A writefag or the author?

Kek, imagine an Ogre who made a family with a human and stayed with them. I can imagine like 5 Ogryn kids hanging of his arms while he's laughing.

How would one instill feelings of comfy in an actual session?
I've been wanting to run something like Runescape, but without boring my players to tears with grinding. All I've got from observation is that soft mellow music and putting importance on noncombat activities help.

Also curious about this. Anyone?

>imagine an Ogre who made a family with a human
Yeah... imagine.

I'm imagining pretty hard right now

Not as good as Saltzspyre & Sienna but still good.

Remember - Ogres eat babies and children and have no issues with incest. And that's not out of game systems, that's out of legend.

Depends on the setting

agreed

...

Post comfy towns now!

The comfiest. Idk, something about the dark winter + lights from houses and smoke from chimneys.

...

...

Why does that child have such full and luscious lips?

Because she's an elf, so she got slutty lips.

Elves excel at thottery even at a young age. It's in their blood.

...

How about no winter and no darkness?

Source asap. This is very very important for me. This is what I've been waiting for.

Sometimes you just have to chill and ride a space dragon

Why is pixel art so cozy? Is it nostalgia? The attention to detail?

Is that by the I Am Skeleton Jelly guy?

That it is. Multiforce is the name of the comic

It comes from a time when games still had their innocence and hadn't become completely corrupted by executives and SJWs.

...

...

I wouldn't say it's that bad. Yeah the mainstream is ripe with greedy customer abuse and American identitarian politics but there's plenty of good, pure, games out there. Same for every hobby, even tabletop stuff. Just avoid the normie shit.

>Pixelated artstyles are now either a marketing ploy or some Tumblr's way of being speshul, outside of a few cases
At least RoR still manages well enough. How the second one is just as good.

The detail and emphasis on immersion. It carries more imaginative weight, like practical effects over CGI.

I love pictures that tell a cute story
>tfw you'll never be a shota page to a qt airheaded princess

...

...

>Warhammer cafe
>It's always dark and gloomy with heavy furniture
>staffed with old white men full of thinly veiled contempt for their customers.
>Smells like old dust and machine oil

Is there such a thing as "dark comfy"?

I should think so, like dark ambient or an isolation tank

pls no ban

True, I love dark ambient

...

...

Just like my Japanese manga!

...

Get the fuck out of here degenerate. We don't take kindly to your kind here.

Wait. Didn't I have to kill a Cleric Beast on that Bridge?

...

...

...

I believe that's Elf-san wa Yaserarenai.

Big-E and the Priming Primes.

...

Do you think that Space Marines have fangirls in the Imperial Guard?

I mean....

Yes

...

Maybe...

Big as a waterfall, gentle as a river...

...

Is this Bloodborne?

Pics like these and the Sony long live play commercials always get me, if only to see if I recognize all the references. That and it's like all the characters are taking a quick break from the game and the players shenanigans to just relax in the time where no one is looking.

Best guess for this image: charles bridge prague sunset

Makes sense because salamanders

God I need the sauce on this

This is my favorite thing...

How long have you been on Veeky Forums?

Emp's favorite!

Daddy Dreadnaught and Lil' Inf.

...

Well that one's practically canon. She even teases him for loving her and he blushes and sputters about heresy..

Damnit what was that fanmade video with the smurfs fighting some traitor marines and one of the smurfs going

"YOUR FIGHT IS WITH ME HERETIC!!!"

...

"The way in which this tiny being consumes sustenance compels me..."

>noncombat activities
good tastes

My go to thing for making the lesser things in the setting and the worldbuilding feel more real is making a resource and production web like runescape has, along with ways to go and gather those resources, and then finding some way to make fun or immersive campaigns out of gathering and refining them

Staying at a village and venturing into the forest to gather lumber, bringing along a warrior or two as escort to protect against monsters, learning about the daily lives and relationships of the village

Runescapes OST is god tier in terms of comfy ambiance too
