Haven't really spent any time on anything 40k since just before 8e came out and I usually just play small sub-1000 skirmishes. Are my Black Templar melee blobs good yet? How about classic Land Raider Crusader speaheads?
Also, what's the state of AdMech?
New guy, I wanna make a Tau army because I'm a sucker for mechs. I also like the contrast between the bestial Kroot and the sleek high tech Tau machines, so that's something I wanna work with. I'm more interested in the painting and converting side of the hobby than the actual playing.
I'll be starting with the starter box, but would this list be a good 1k list to work towards? I mostly want to get as many battlesuits as I can, which is hard since most of them cost a fuckton of points. Sad.
