Concept for people into monster hunter style stuff but not into murdering anime girls, monster girls have high pain tolerance and powerfule healing factors, a good hunt ends with some fins, tails and other bits to use, and probably a well fucked girl waddling off with numb hips, free to grow back what she lost and grow stronger for it, hunters have a Roosavelt feel to it, never ones to over hunt, less the hunting grounds run dry

Because the two settings are terrible for an RPG. For an ERP, sure, that's fine, but unless your group is fine with playing out having sexy time with monsters (which your group might, no judgement there, just... can I play?) then we need to do some makeover to it. By pulling inspiration from the settings but not doing the settings themselves, we can also free ourselves from having to work around the Canon.
