Big Celestine tits right in my face

th for the Emperor Protects

xth for big ol' clown tiddies!

I want to wear a banshees thighs around my neck like a scarf.

Reposting for NL trait being worthless

How exactly do you surround multiple units with -5 leader ship, user? Assuming you're going with Nurgle raptors since you're looking to hit multiple units with -5, it's 136pts per 5 man raptor squad with triple plasma, which will on average kill 2 MEQ not in cover. If you have 3 of them in range of 3 squads, then you just have 3 squads -7 Ld, right? Wow! Amazing, right? Here's the problem: it has a 6" range. That means you have to assume the following:
>You didn't Deepstrike (note warp time won't work because you need all 3 units)
>The casualties didn't knock them out of 6"
>Your opponent has conveniently positioned multiple units close enough
>If you did DS You somehow managed to charge multiple wounded squads with 3 units after your opponent removed models
Those units survived the assault phase to fail a moral test

There is no way it's actually usable.

i want a banshee to rko me with her thighs

Big sororita diaperbutt right in my face

Is there a point in buying two pic related or should I just get one? Also how to expand them cheaply to 1000pts with no ebay? Should I try to find old start collecting boxes or buy few termagant boxes?

No but i'll add that to my "eventually do that cool thing" list.

I wouldn't even buy one. Tervigons are not very good.

>some of those grand 'alliances' only span one faction

get the sc box it has genestealers

Odd problem here. I've got some of the old tau broadsides with the shoulder-mounted railguns. I thought about magnetising them so I could switch them to the missile variant and I got part way through, before realising they looked stupid. Problem now is that I've cut the railguns down by 1/3 inch. Normally I wouldn't worry, but I get the feeling people will already be annoyed that they're smaller than the current model. I don't want to be accused of modeling for advantage. Should I find some bits to bring them back to normal size or leave them as is?

Questions of Deldar;

Am I crazy to have a minimum cost Archon just sat in a building to unlock a detachment rather than giving him a transport?
My list feels weak on clearing infantry, what about if I take a squad of trueborn with Shredders in my Tantalus with 2 squads of 5 kabalites with additional Shredders? d3 × 6 strength 6 0ap 1d rerolls to wound shots. Recently I've been running 2 archons with blasters, 2 sslyth, 2×5 kabalites with blaster in the Tantalus but the Blasters seem pointless in a lot of cases and mass infantry is a real problem.

>shoot plasma gun at a space marine rapid fire
>pays for itself within one shot

Is there any other weapon this efficient? Most do Half at best.

Huh, remember that anons were buying them out when the codex dropped
But is it worth to run just 8 or even 16 GS?

fix the guns. if they look like how they were people can't complain cause thats just how the kit do

List of unconfirmed and ongoing rumours:

>Imperium
Lion, Sanguinius and Leman Russ are the next upcoming primarchs

Codex: Ultramarines in 2019

Sisters of Battle, Sisters of Silence, Imperial Knights and Imperial Agents (soup book) are getting their codex next

>Chaos
Fulgrim and Angron are the next daemon primarchs to be released soon

World Eaters and Emperor's Children Codices soon

Chaos Eldars hinted, but low priority for now

>Xenos
Ynnari (aeldari soup book) will get a codex

New named Harlequin model and new models for Lelith and Eldrad for the ynnari release soon

run as many stealers as you can. so yes.

At this point just wait for the codex, it'll likely drastically alter the nature of your builds.

I don't know who. The competitive view point on them has been pretty low since release. They're just a huge fire magnet.

eldrad only just got a model in death masque

Sounds mostly like BS.
>Codex: Ultramarines in 2019
Sounds completely like BS.

Came second today in my tournament, thanks for those of you in /40kg/ who helped me build my World Eater force about a month ago.

Winner was a tyranid player, game was sit on 3 objectives, whoever has most by turn 5 wins, or automatic win if you get all 3 at once. I killed nearly everything, cut my way through 50 gaunts, killed the thing that keeps spawning more, killed 30 more genestealers and the 50 gaunts respawned from his strategum.

He won by summoning those little biter things at each 3 points while I multicharged his last broodlord. I had a rhino with 2 wounds sat on one objective just incase but 2 genestealers and the small things killed it and won the game.

Feel a bit cheated as I killed nearly 2000 points with beserkers and Kharn but tons of fun, might stick with them for a bit longer

>Codex: Ultramarines in 2019
That would have came out already.

>Eldrad getting a release

This alone marks this as bullshit. He got a new plastic model in Death masque that became available separately when the new Eldar book came out.

>World Eaters and Emperor's Children Codices soon
please

The dark Eldar codex isn't coming til April time, Tau & Necron are first.

What does MEQ stand for?
t. newfag

be right back gonna slit my wrists

And? The Index list is in a terrible fucking place and making changes/buying based on it is a terrible fucking idea.

>what is google
It means marine equivalent

Marine Equivalent
Similarly, Guard Equivalent (GEQ) and Terminator Equivalent (TEQ) are in common use.

Marine Equivalent.

GEQ is Guardman Equivalent, and TEQ is Terminator Equivalent. They are abbreviations to be used when roughly gauging infantry power levels. They may need some updates, as now we have Primaris and Gravis and stuff floating around.

Marine equivalent, means anything similar to a space marines

It is a bit of a problem.

Put some terrain on the base, use the right sized base, give the model a slightly wider stance (maybe look into making Stormsurge style anchors on the feet) and all that. Nobody can blame you for not at least trying.

I like the old style suits better. The XV88 is way too big to be an XV8 suit and the twin-handheld railgun looks dumb. Either make it a single gun or mount them individually on the shoulders or arms.

>Relic of lost cadia
>"reveal at the start of any turn and reroll 1s until the end of that turn"
>somehow this means it can be used for every single turn of the game because it doesn't say that it only happens once per game
>the relic specifically says that it is done at the end of the turn it is revealed on

Are IG players retarded?

the most effective armies are made by cherry picking the best units from different armies and making a "soup" army.

is this a problem?

should staying inside one codex be as competitive as "souping"?

I think that there ought to be points discounts on certain units if the entire army is mono-codex such that mono-codex armies are competitive.

please tell me why this is a stupid idea?

jokes on you im buying shit that bad in the index anyway.

What are you on about? I was asking some general questions. I own 6000pts of Deldar at this point, but have never used Shredders and was asking in hope that anyone else had done so. Also even as an index they're not awful, I've won 3 games in the last two weeks vs Ultramarines, Dark Angels and Blood Angels so at least in my meta (11 marine players vs me, deldar) they're fine.

in a perfect world yes everything should be balanced as a monolist

I don't have any issues with souping at all - I think ultimately GW is going to continue to encourage it and I think people who hold on to this 'pure army' thing are entrenched in the past.

That said I think GW should make both soup and mono-builds fairly close in overall viability to create more variety.

Anecdotal evidence based on what appears to be a poor local meta doesn't change the position the book is in.

In AoS you are losing sweet bonuses if you are not running a mono-list. Also non-allegiance units can make up only up to 20% of your list if you want to keep your abilities

There should be buffs to single-codex armies

>Anecdotal blablabla

Look, it appears you want to have a whinge about index Deldar and I'm sure everyone else is aware that the power gap between codex and index armies is massive, but I just wanted to know if shredders were any good for killing marines in lieu of Poison since my venoms are performing badly. I'm not purchasing anything new, I was bouncing ideas around and already own the models.

The problem is GW sees the money in soup and wants players to buy more books, more models, etc.

what was your list?

>grand alliance
>Only Imperium, chaos and gsc can actually do this
>Everyone else is fucked
>Comparing the money maker game to a dead game
Please don't, take your (you) but this pasta is shit

I think that stratas were designed to work like this

No - shredders are a poor choice across the board.

Okay, thanks guys. I've already built most of the models so I'll just find some way to lengthen the guns. Maybe with sprues. It'll look shit, but at least there'll be a story behind it.

Alright please help this new retard out with list building, grabbed an admech SC box and I think I've got down a good list for fun with friends during our drunken saturday shenanigans

>Tech Priest Dominus with Volkite Blaster and Phosphoenix

>Skitarii Rangers - Omnispex and one Transuranic Arquebus

>Skitarri Vanguard - Enhanced data tether, Plasma Caliver and power sword

>Onager Dunecrawler with Icarus Array

So my questions are, how shit is my list? Two special weapons per 5 man squads or one? Have not played a single game yet. Will be going against Deldar, Ork and DI Death Guard armies. Can I put together my models before painting them? I would like to try out each Forgeworld but Ill probably be doing Graia. Also this list is like 22 power.

I wouldn't like this if I simply want to run different elite units from factions that were always part of my codex.

Like imperial guard and any inquisitor or assassin shit. Or eldar and harliquens.

Well, in case of Imperium, Chaos, Eldar and to an extent Orks it's pretty established that most battles aren't fought by mono armies.

>

Also a fair point. I'm not anti-soup personally. I find most of the people I talk to who have this rabid anti-soup mentality start with 'yeah well I'm used to picking a book and playing with it' - sorry folks, things change.

LVO had literally 0 aeldari it is a dead faction

Wait, am I misunderstanding something or are your Custodes have 4++ if you don't run soup?

>AoS Dead Game
>Had over 100 players at the LVO AoS tournament
>Doesn't know about Aeldari soup

Neck yourself.

They were supposed to announce the next codex today. GW, pls...

That's why you can ally up to 20% of your list in AoS

units not from the same codex as your primary detachment cost an additional 25% points due to waacfag tax

My friend made up the rest of the points with his own 'nids

That's because of the way factions are determined but the Top List had Ynnari, CWE, and Dark Eldar in it.

Running a unit in its own small detachment of only in codex units is easy and gives 100% of faction bonuses while still buffing other units from different detachments.

'nids question would you ever consider taking 3 biovores and a neurothrope just to get the extra 1CP for a searhead detatchment?
If I were to run biovores how many should I consider running in a squad?

(yes I know they are monetarily expensive)

Aeldari is just a worse version of Ynnari so anyone who wants to run aeldari just plays Ynnari.

I think as long as your're running a complete detachment then the custodes infantry and bikes get the 4+ invuln. If you take them outside a detachment then its 5+

>two index armies make bad soup
>also ignoring ynnari alatoic

Why are Fantasycucks still obsessed about AoS?

>grand alliance
I hate this because bitch ass fagworlds will want to take our good stuff when our codex drops and justify it with ynarii bullshit

[I scream but Vect won't answer]
>Vect's face when

So any news or rumors about that battle for mars box?
Also were do you guys tend to get your rumors from.

>everything you ally is shit

Neet

GW taking the fucking miss. I don't care about necromunda, like 2 people total do. I care only about Dark Eldar and their codex and you also should too

>implying darkis don't steal the cool kid craftworld toys all the time

Wouldn't Craftworld Eldar be a bit more predisposed than anyone else to ally up with the Tau and visa versa?

Bring Back Horus REEEEEeeeEEeEEEEEEE

How bad are you going to feel when Dark Eldar get wrapped into the Ynnari Soup to take advantage of their few game changing stratagems and the army is labelled WAAC and goes out of stock?

It is a mystery.

I didn't know you can mix up codex in a detachment. My brother and I always play our armies in separate detachments if we do a 2v2. So basically a Space Marine captain can be the HQ to three squads of guardsmen?

No they'd ally orks first, they're best friends

most don't as once you start taking eldar stuff because its better than DE eldar stuff you soon realize that you have replaced 100% of your army with better eldar stuff.

And then they nerf the fuck out of dark eldar shit.

Is it the endtime for 40k yet? The primarchs are coming back.

Age of the Emperor when?

>fetishizing toy soldiers
Jesus, I hope this guy was just baiting

cant mix armies "within" detachments. Your army can be composed of detachments from multiple books.

>Sanguinus
why
>Codex: Ultramarines
We already got one of those it's called Codex: Space Marines.

You actually can mix armies within detachments because of the keyword, you'll lose access to specific regiments, strats, etc but you can mix inside the detachment.

would be fluffy though

...

>eldrad
he JUST got a new model recently that was re-released on its own with the eldar codex.

I don't know man, your units look cool and the melee stuff sounds fun!

>over 100 players
How many players went to play 40k?

Lawrence from TTT won a bunch of games at the LVO against Chaos Soup using pure Eldar, no Ynarri or Reaper spam, he didnt even play Alaitoc. Just took 60 of the humble Guardian from Craftworld Ulthwe

Yes you can either run a mixed unit detachment which of say Space Marine captain and 3 units of guards, or you could run 1 detachment of space marines with 1 captain 3 scouts, and a seperate detachment of 1 commissar and 3 guardsmen.

As a rule of thumb never mix a detachment as all units in it lose their special rules, and it is so easy to make a new detachment there isn't a reason to do so.

nah just harlequins cause we used to have them anyway

470ish

His flyer wing and shining spear detachment were alatioc.

>Implying I even have fantasy miniatures
>
Every release that isn't 40k is just trash

>40k goes from skirmish to rank and file with square bases
the circle must be complete
