She's a TIE Fighter pilot of the First Order seen in the Phasma comic I believe.
She unfortunately overhear's her superior Phasma when a man Phasma is about to execute to cover her own skin reveals that he knew that she was the one who sabotaged Starkiller Base, and that he wouldn't reveal anything.
With the ordinance experts and 3 Thug Droids, along side Maul's rerolls and Esege's focus tokens to share, this thing will crank out endless all-critical attacks with shitloads of splash damage.
Should my Raider be going Triple Turbolaser to deal with this? Even just the main gun on initial engage from a CR-90 is going to be a HHHCCCC attack on average(maybe even a 4th hit), and that means I need to have Reinforce up on the correct side, AND have Assiler as my title to avoid eating a crit through shields on my fore the first engage. The aft only has 4 shields too- How do I get all those Turbolasers on target without immediately eating shit?
Is there some way to deal with that CR-90?
Even having Captain Kagi in a corner somewhere won't really work, as the rerolls come from Maul, not a target lock, nor does a PS 7+ swarm of Harpoons work, as the thing shoots at PS 12.
Does anyone know how to kit out a Raider to deal with the CR-90?
i now regret posting the print bleed version.

>a pilot who killed two TIEs with a single proton torpedo.
Dubs.

Phasma was already a bad character, but the "not actually supportive of the FO" makes her even more annoying. TR-8R is a better character.
Thomas Miller
So, I have a new TLJ plot hole I haven't seen yet.
During the evacuation, Poe gets in an argument with Leia about leaving or staying to kil the dreadnought. So...why didn't the Rebel Fleet just LEAVE? I mean, I keep hearing about how they wouldn't abandon Poe and all, but they wouldn't be abandoning him, X-wings have hyperdrives. The Fleet could jump and leave him there, and no matter what else happened, he could jump out too.
So what was keeping Leia from ordering the Fleet to just fucking leave?
>also, the bitching people have about the Dreadnought only having AA guns on the top is wrong. There's ventral AA guns too - you can see them onscreen.
Levi Ortiz
No, not Sabine. Please.
I need to see her get raped. I need it.
Tyler Ward
We already have Dubs Checkem as a pilot though?
I didn't make this Dubs Checkem Sunny Bounder for nothing. (yes, the point cost is not on- I have it on the print bleed version)
Carson Clark
She's purely as selfish self serving shew with no real loyalties, which bothers me because before this I was under the impression she was a mama hen type with the troopers

Can also add to that "what was stopping Resistance Command from recalling the Bombers and Fighter in the first place?".
They couldn't recall Poe, but they could have recalled the rest.
Phasma is said to be the mother of the First Order storm trooper corps.
Yet, she is ultimately a bit of a joke in that regard on screen.
Brayden Cox
I always felt like the beam weapons - or at least smaller-scale ones - didn't really fit all that well in Star Wars. I don't really remember them being a thing outside of AotC and the old Battlefront games, so I guess someone felt the same way.
Like, if you have beams, why bother with the individual bolt-firing blasters/lasers, you know?
Juan Thompson

>They couldn't recall Poe, but they could have recalled the rest.
The bombers weren't onscreen during the evacuation sequence. They didn't have to be recalled because THEY HADN'T BEEN LAUNCHED YET. There's some capital ships and the starfighter CAP, but we don't see any of the bombers until they start their attack run.
/finally found a decent quality torrent and I'm posting as I watch. I didn't see a bunch of these details in the theatre because I had shit seats near the front.

Rex lives because he really wants him to be the old man at endor
Kanan is conspicuously absent from a lot of group shots in the trailer
Ryder is 300% dead, hera and chopper are locked into surviving. The rest are a coin toss.

I love this document.
>Also, post good pilot nicknames.
Here. Probably half of them can be easily adapted to Star Wars. That means you should get ~800 new callsigns.
Enjoy.
Christian Powell
Easy answer would probably be logistical considerations. Maybe the barrels melt and wear out too quickly, maybe the heat generation is too high to be practical on smaller-scale platforms without adding bulky cooling gear, maybe it draws too much power to have use in protracted fights without a powerful generator, or maybe it's just too expensive.

>Compared to other starfighters in service during the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Pinook was underpowered, undergunned, poorly shielded, and inadequately armored. A worse than average craft all around, its only favorable quality was its better-than-average maneuverability, although it was still outperformed by a Z-95 Headhunter in this respect. In a one-on-one dogfight with a TIE/LN starfighter, only a lucky hit by the Pinook would prevent its quick annihilation.
>Only marginally faster than the Y-wing, it had none of that craft's rugged durability. With a hull that was weaker than a TIE/IN interceptor's, and shields only half as powerful as an T-65 X-wing starfighter's, the Pinook was not a good match for modern starfighters.
Damn, wookieepedia doesn't hold back.

>Sienar: "Did somebody say a TIE Fighter on tracks?"
>Both Officials: "N-no, sir, we---"
>Sienar: "I'm going to give you a TIE Fighter on tracks. No armor, no shields, no advantages a TIE Fighter would normally have. It'll be slower than a landspeeder, weaker than a proper tank, and less maneuverable than... also a landspeeder."
Justin Nelson
>During the evacuation, Poe gets in an argument with Leia about leaving or staying to kil the dreadnought. So...why didn't the Rebel Fleet just LEAVE? I mean, I keep hearing about how they wouldn't abandon Poe and all, but they wouldn't be abandoning him, X-wings have hyperdrives. You're assuming those X-wings have the hyper-coords of where the Resistance fleet was jumping to. They very well could not have for security purposes, instead having to head to a rendevous point and forcing them to split up. It would also mean the FO no longer had capital ships to focus on, meaning even higher losses when the whole point of ordering him to withdraw was to PREVENT losses.
Julian Hill

Holy crap, that's amazing. I didn't realize pilots got stuck with shit nicknames like that.
Brody Ward
It's actually nice to see that not all of the FO higher-ups are as fanatically devoted like Hux, but are just in it for personal power.
Jayden Sanders
What? it's a mobile flak gun that can also scramble missiles. It is a little goofy but it does the job it is built to do
Ian Martin
Yeah but at least it had that sick suicide bombing trick and was cheap as hell. Just a shame the Empire didn't have very many good light units in EaW.
Jaxon Williams
Those are all assumptions though. None of that is actually shown or stated. It's always possible to justify something after the fact if you work hard enough, but there's nothing in the film itself which would lead anyone to those conclusions.
Ryan Ortiz
"241"
Aaron King
So it's a Y-wing dial with a white 4 straight, a statline of 2/2/2/1, focus and Target Lock on action bar?
Or is it 1/2/2/1?
The hull being a 2, shield being 1 make a perfect match for that description, and it's around as agile as the Z-95.
Are the guns HWK-tier shit?
Aaron Morales
If you're going to be in a protracted battle that requires hunkering down and deploying the scramblers, they're going to last about 5 seconds. Plus they're a really niche counter that have barely any damage otherwise.
Chase Harris

Noah Taylor
>They couldn't recall Poe, but they could have recalled the rest.
Countermanding Poe's orders to his starfighters in the middle of a battle like that would be...sticky. It creates a shitton of confusion that could have gotten more of Poe's command killed than were already, with the added downer of not even getting the dreadnought.
Isaiah Cox
Now that was quite useful in the lore as it is mentioned as downing countless enemy fighters and I think it had an ability that made that rebel artillery flinging ordnance all over the place less effective.
Anthony Wood
Yeah, Top Gun spoiled a lot of people, most nicknames aren't cool, they're for something dumb or crazy you did. Some are actually cool.
Leo Bailey
He also may not have had the range of full sized carrier in hyperspace jumps
and considering that the limitations on jumping is a plot point that seems likely
Oh if you meant in game then yes they were atrocious in EAW.
Lore wise they meet their needs and can shit out missile spam too if need be, so they can be artillery pieces in a pinch. a dedicated stationary flak gun probably sustains better but the AT-AA is more portable.
Evan Parker
How big is it supposed to be anyway? Are those things in the front windows?
Easton Williams
desu that seems pretty useful against Airspeeders and X-Wings
they're really just AT-AT escorts
Not gonna lie, useless is probably the Death Star gun from TLJ (which makes laughably small holes in fortifications) or the AT-M6 (whose extra cannon doesn't seem to pack any more of a punch than its chin guns)
Jonathan Lewis

>Those are all assumptions though. Sure. It's not really an important detail. All we know is that there's a reason the Resistance didn't want to just leave. Whatever it was isn't something critical to the plot, so the plot didn't elaborate on it.
Asher Roberts
It's not even the right size to be the actual pilot. So either Sienar painted a stormtrooper helmet on the front just to fuck with people even further or they've got an ewok in the cockpit.
Jaxon Sanchez
A little larger than the Rebel tanks from Empire At War apparently.
Smaller than the SPMA and AT-AT, but larger than the TIE Tanks, the Imperial Repulsor Tank and the AT-STs.
Jaxson Bennett
Is it too much to ask for an artstyle that doesn't look bad? I mean this is way better than anything I could do but holy shit those fucking faces. The "Star Wars" comic line is even worse with Han looking like some kind of deformed troll.
Xavier Robinson
I hate that it's actually a pretty cool looking, it needs ray shields and a better weapon of some kind
Connor Lewis
We need this artist to come back. Handsome Chewie is the hero we need.

EaW scale is a joke though. Also that game is far uglier than I remember.
Parker Barnes
Compared to a TIE fighter- are TIE laser cannons stronger? They also have 2.
Adrian Adams
I like the art on the phasma comic but yeah fuck the main line, seriously nobody they get in the main line can do the characters.
The lando comic looks pretty though, reminds me of old pulp prints
And the "proper" scale for the T4-b
I mean it was par for the course for 2006, all the pretty screenshots are from people modding the shit out of it

The acronyms they come up with are really good. SLAG was a nice one. As is TULSA.

Carter Foster
I don't know what XWA's files say about in-game damage values but based on just the wording, no. The Pinook's lasers are explicitly "light" laser cannons while the TIE/LN just has regular laser cannons with no weight class prefix.

No mainline SW comic will ever have good art, nor will any of the major crossover events.
Evan Nguyen
>You into space fighters as well as capital ships?
Well, yeah, I have starfighter waifus just like everybody else.
And yes, I'm fine with fighter-scale games as well as capital-scale stuff. Favorite starfighter game is Silent Death from ICE. Not a fan of X-wing or Armada, actually. I don't know why; I've tried both and they don't do anything for me. Fortunately, I have Star Wars ship control sheets for Silent Death which are perfectly servicable.
Parker Cooper
Can I ask for assistance on clarifying the way a homebrew pilot ability should be written.
I want the rule to be: All enemies ships within range 1 of your ship gain 1 extra hit result when being attacked
Bentley Harris
So just confirming, are they or are they not equivalent cannons to the cannons on a TIE Fighter?
Thomas Cook
It always impressed me that the Rebels were able to make a tank capable of defeating an AT-AT in direct combat.
Jose Cox
Or just stick whatever the fuck the AT-M6 is toting on capital ships since apparently that thing can brute force through shields that are impervious to orbital bombardment.
Thomas Long
yes that art is utter garbage and that was not in dispute, but the phasma looks good
Friendly reminder that anakin skywaker was a crazy enough motherfucker to invert them in the ventral hangarbay of the venators.
Adam Williams
No. They're lighter. "Light", "no prefix" (is, standard), "Heavy". In that order.
Luis Adams
Unless XWA's damage data says otherwise, they are inferior to the TIE/LN's guns.
Easton Davis
The currently running Darth Vader's pretty good, even has some unironically aesthetic moments like when he's meditating
Matthew Thompson
That doesn't hold a candle to some random rich asshole being able to field a tank that's basically the aforementioned tank with heavy shields and stronger guns
Aaron Powell
>No mainline SW comic will ever have good art >tfw the cheesy, eye-searing glory of the old Marvel run will never return

yes but that is a side line comic, so it gets to have good art
Man what did Tyber even do after stealing trillions of credits from the eclipse? Just waste it all on hookers and blow?

Well, Mandalorians don't make bad stuff so.
Also, don't forget the fact that has a system to fool enemy targeting computers into locking onto it.
