I don't understand this thread at all.

Me too. Is it supposed to be about players that just blunder through a DM's plans?
Levi Green
OP, in his immeasurably faggotry, is referring to an instance that pops up in media where you will have two characters. One goes by gut instinct, leaps before looking, and doesn't think things through. The other is the opposite, carefully considering his actions, taking in information and trying to interpret it logically to reach conclusion in order to figure out how to proceed. From time to time, this rational character will overthink things and take too long to actually take action.
Specifically, OP is referring to common trope where the instinctual character just goes with their gut feelings and things work out, whereas the rational character's approach takes too much time or turns out to reach the wrong conclusions do to something that neither character was aware of.
OP has spent so much time sucking cocks, it has limited his experience with gaming and fiction, and he has erroneously concluded that this is the only way these scenarios play out.

That you're projecting.

Well yes, Wisdom is generally more useful for barbarians/druids/rogues than Intelligence. Though, I'm a bit dubious about the wizard example.

That 'gut instinct' characters are a bunch of murderers.
