What is your opinion about D6 rpgs?

If you mean WEG d6, they are fucking great but have some outdated mechanics

I think WEG d6 really underestimates just how much static bonuses (and having more dice) count where you roll so much dice, making the results really even.

If you mean other games that only use d6, there's quite a few god ones, like RISUS, Barbarians of Lemuria, PbtA stuff, Strike!... even GURPS, I guess, if you are into that.

It’s the best and the only kind of die worth using. Anything else is pointless wankery.

My DM runs a kind of d6 kind of free form system that's actually really functional. I like those systems, but then you have fucking GURPS that is autisically devoted to the d6.

don't know about rpgs but d6 tabletop games are generally pretty good.

Doubt it. My friend made something similar and it sucks ass. Freeform is generally shit though.

I like the stunt feature of Fantasy AGE

I prefer d12 games because I like the way the d12 is shaped

If you think probability is any meaningful category in RPGs, that's why nobody plays anything satisfactory with you.

Depends. I don't judge a system by the dice but how they use them. I get upset when people dismiss games because they are "d6" or "d20" or "Use special Dices" as if that's what decides if it's good or not.

WEG Star Wars is one of my favorite games and easily the best Star Wars RPG.

Wrath and Glory, the new 40krpg being developed after GW and FFG stopped working together. D6 based 40krpg seems to have my interest, since it's based off of a game that only uses D6's, it feels closer to the source material in a sense.
